Game Thread Bootleg game thread for the UCLA-Cal exhibition
If anyone wants a bootleg game thread for the UCLA exhibition game tonight against Cal here it is.

I haven’t found any box scores yet which sucks cause I like this roster that Cori Close has put together and they’ve got Sweet 16 potential so I’m interested in seeing how well they can play together.

I see Cori is using Bransford and Okafor. Like that she’s going to her bench the bench will be key all season long.

I’m pretty excited for ucla and will probably watch them more this year tbh. I just like the rebuild scrappy vibe.

I’m excited to see Timea Gardiner back on the court. It’s a shame we never got to see her and Charlisse Leger-Walker play together they’re two of my favorite WBB players! They just both had bad injury luck!

It always throws me off how UCLA and Cal bands use the same songs just in a different key lol. Unless ucla actually has a band at the game.

I didn’t know they used their band for exhibition games. Here at Ole Miss I don’t think we ever used the basketball band for exhibition games we just use them for the Square Jam which is a kickoff game that both of the teams do every late October in town.

I wish TV play by play announcers did it more like the radio ones and actually called the play by play a bit more instead of silence or rambling about random stuff. This guy is pretty good.
