Do people seriously not notice how bad these always look?

He can get infront of a mic and take some responsibility considering he’ll make more playing 12 football games this year than most of us will make in our lives

He knows he screwed up.

His mistake was the lead story, not only on sports shows, but on national news broadcasts. It was on Good Morning America, it led the NFL broadcasts on Sunday.

As bad as fans felt, he had to feel worse. He will be forever tied to college football folklore, and not in a good way.

I can't blame him for not wanting to talk and dwell on it publicly.

He gets paid 2.1 million. He needs to wear it and suck it up

He's going to wear that play for the rest of his life.

I'm with ya. Dude has seemed to be kinda just okay with what happened and I get it like it's just football but also like this is what you get paid to do... Like act like you give somewhat of a shit.... Beat yourself up, get hard on yourself? No that doesn't help. But also own it let people know man I fucked up, it can't happen again, it won't happen again, this is an eye opener for me, time to work my ass off in practice and come out on gameday for the rest of the season and show everyone what y'all are paying me for. But this whole smiling giggling "guys got my back" type shit come on now act like you care....

You're right, I think he panicked and ran the wrong way, didn't secure the ball with 2 hands. Too immature to handle the responsibility while making millions. Part of maturity is owning your mistakes.

Our coaches know there is a long season ahead and are not dwelling on this too much. They need to move on and want to ensure their star QB has his headspace clear. The coaches are doing the right thing, and this is reflected in Bailey's words. March onwards I say!
