Hi everyone, I’m a 28F doctor from a financially unstable family. I have family responsibilities and cannot depend on my family for financial support.
I spent several years preparing for exams abroad and cleared them, but things didn’t work out as planned. I’m currently working in India and earning ₹80K per month.
I’m confused between taking a large education loan for a clinical PG seat, choosing MD Pharmacology in a government college, or preparing for NEET PG once more.
I’m worried about taking on a huge loan, but I’m also unsure whether I’ll be happy choosing a non-clinical branch when I always wanted a clinical specialty. I’m also concerned about my career gap and future job prospects.
I’d appreciate honest advice:
Is taking a large loan for clinical PG worth it?
Does MD Pharmacology offer good career and salary prospects?
Will my career gap affect my future opportunities?

I’m an MBBS student trying to figure out the best resources to use for each subject, both for building strong conceptual understanding during MBBS and eventually scoring as high as possible in NEET PG.
I don’t necessarily want to blindly stick to one platform for all subjects. I want to know which platform or faculty is genuinely the best for each subject in terms of:
Conceptual understanding: Making difficult topics easy to understand and remember.
Notes: Concise, high-yield notes that are sufficient for revision without constantly referring to multiple textbooks.
Question practice: Good MCQs, clinical case-based questions, explanations, PYQs and NEET PG/INI-CET-oriented practice.
Exam performance: Helping with both university exams and competitive exams, rather than just completing the syllabus.
Platforms I’m considering include Marrow, PrepLadder, Cerebellum, DAMS, Bhatia and other resources you think are worth considering.
