🚨 UPDATED DEPARTURE TIME 🏍️ ⏰ Meet: 9:30 AM | Briefing: 9:50 AM | KSU: 10:00 AM

We're still planning to ride tomorrow, Saturday, October 17!

Due to overnight rain and the possibility of wet roads in the morning, we're pushing our departure back one hour to allow conditions to improve.

📍 Wawa — 330 Main St, South Hackensack, NJ

⏰ Meet: 9:30 AM | Briefing: 9:50 AM | KSU: 10:00 AM

🌤️ We'll do one final weather check at 7 AM tomorrow and confirm the ride status.

Safety first, always. Looking forward to another great ride with everyone!

Putting together a group ride for Saturday, October 17 and figured I’d share it here in case anyone wants to join.

We’re leaving from:

📍 Wawa — 330 Main St, South Hackensack, NJ 07606

and heading up into the Shawangunks for about 180 miles of fall riding.

🐢 Relaxed, no-drop pace. All bikes and skill levels welcome.

Meet: 9:30 AM
Briefing: 9:50 AM
KSU: 10:00 AM
Rain date: Sunday, October 18

Planned stops:

📸 Shawangunk Mountains Lookout
🍽️ Casa Amigos — Kerhonkson, NY
⛽ Stewart’s — Kerhonkson
🛣️ Scenic ride back toward North Jersey

The official route comes back toward Wawa, but that’s just the anchor. If it makes more sense to break off on the return and head home from there, that’s completely fine.

Route map will be posted Friday after the final road and weather check.

930am!

Tomorrow is going to be a nice cool morning compared to this Summer. I'm headed out to LBI for a cup of coffee under the shadow of the famous Barnegat Lighthouse.

Andy's Coffee Shack

202 Broadway, Barnegat Light

Will arrive at 930am. Have a coffee, take some photos, and head back over the bridge. Does anyone want to come hangout, or host a ride after? This might be a morning worth calling out sick!

If anyone wants to meet up on the mainland first, I'll be waiting at the Manahawkin Wawa:

470 N Main St, Manahawkin

KSU 9am, it's about 30 minutes to Andy's and most of the Northbound lights on the island are already off for the season.

See you there!
