I saw a video on YouTube roughly 15 years ago (I could be off by a couple of years either way). One lyric I remember went something like "I know how to make shit work, I know how to put a nigga in a hurt". I believe the chorus was something like "I smoke crack". I could be off somewhat on the chorus, but I feel like I remember the word "crack" being prominent. From what I recall, the person in the video was white and walking down the street or sidewalk while singing. I remember it being very tongue in cheek, maybe some kind of parody of rap?

Edit: A note on the chorus. I very strongly remember the word "crack" said very loudly and echoed or repeated a lot.

The most distinctive detail: there is a microphone hanging from above by a visible cable/wire, and the microphone is positioned around the middle/center of the screen, directly in front of the rapper.

I think the rapper may have been wearing a balaclava/hood, but I’m not 100% sure about this.

The rapper has a surprisingly high-pitched, melodic voice. The people around him look very intimidating/street, so you expect a deep/aggressive rap voice, but then he starts singing/rapping with a very high and melodic voice.

No tengo forma de recuperar el audio (no tengo Google Fotos, ni cuenta de Samsung, ni nada), pero recuerdo cuándo y dónde la reprodujeron: Imagen Radio 103.1 (México) el 2 de agosto de 2025, de madrugada, específicamente el 3 de agosto, entre las 2:45 y las 4:00 AM. Heard this while on a trip and got curious.

I’m looking for a song I heard on a music TV channel, probably MTV, on October 19, 2019, at around 12:10 AM Polish time.

It was an English-language song, probably by an American Black male rapper. The style was slow, mellow alternative hip-hop, with a calm, almost storytelling vocal delivery.

The music video featured actors throughout, and I don’t think the artist appeared in it at all. The scene I remember most clearly involved a group therapy session, with people sitting on chairs arranged in a circle. The video had a darkly humorous, somewhat dramatic tone. At some point, the people suddenly seemed to lose control and started grabbing ordinary food, throwing it around, and eating it ravenously.

I initially thought the therapy was about eating disorders, but the food could have been a metaphor for something else, such as addiction, greed, or a lack of self-control.

The only lyrics I vaguely remember sound something like “body girl” and “yeah, I feel amazing,” although I might be misremembering the words.

I originally thought the song was from 2020, but I definitely heard it by October 2019.

I doubt this song was ever properly released, but the vibe of the song was an OG rapper making a comeback in the mid 2000s. The only other lyrics I remember was a bit where he said "I could have signed with Dre, but I didn't" and then he repeated that line with another impresario (maybe Puffy). So, I suppose we can whittle it down to rappers who were on the cover of Word Up magazine (assuming he was telling the truth there) and who never signed with Dre. heard it the one time on Power 106 and then never again.

I used to listen to the original German track years ago, but unfortunately I can't remember the artist or the song title.

I'm pretty sure it was from the Bushido, Aggro Berlin, or ersguterjunge era, probably somewhere between 2002 and 2006.
