Damn, has Marvel always hated Quicksilver?
Sucks cause he's a cool character.
ALSO JUSTICE FOR NAMOR

Marvel really hates Pietro I don’t know why, you’d think marvel’s main speedster( who has connections to Avengers, X-men, inhumans and somewhat F4) would be utilised more

Kinda sad that back then Sue Storm was deemed less important than the other three of the same team. Also crazy that Quicksilver has been shafted even in the past.

I always thought Namor should have had a family for a long time, like his own dynasty. Super-Family from DC vibes.

He did...but most of them have been killed off. (I'd love to get an update on the McKenzie clan, his hillbilly human cousins though.)

I mean his most recent solo run has Jason Aaron on as a writer and it didn’t even make it to the usual 10 issues, so sales must have been bad unfortunately.

It was a miniseries I’m pretty sure, last time they tried to give Namor an ongoing was like 2010

Ahh my bad.
Thats an odd issue count for a mini.I liked him in Zdarsky’s Invaders book but I think that was a while back too

I’m curious as to the context of this document
What year?
For what purposes; IP worth, editorial worth, line prominence?

I’d wager in 1973-74. Dracula, Werewolf by Night and Ghost Rider (new) were introduced after the restrictions on monster comics were lifted in the early 70s, but the X-Men relaunched in 1975 with a new team of X-Men (featuring Nightcrawler, Colossus, Storm, and Wolverine), but this document lists the X-Men as the Professor and the Original 5 (except Beast, who would soon become an Avenger, if not already a member).

It’s wild seeing Shana She-Devil and La-Zar being such important characters back then and nowadays barely anyone knows them.
I only know of La-Zar because he appeared in the Ultimate Spider-Man Cartoon and Shana I actually had to look up for my Spidersona.

It’s Ka-Zar. The print is kinda fuzzy on the page.
But yeah even into the 90s writers were still pushing to make this character relevant but hasn’t really stuck.

Holy shit did you notice that ALL of the women in this list are two-stars, even Sue, when the other three fantastic four are three stars!?
