The OneNS site states "Report in physical training attire and running shoes. You will not be allowed to take the test if you are not in your exercise attire (e.g. t-shirt/singlet, running shorts/knee-length shorts/tights above knees, and running shoes)". Was wondering if any Muslims here who have gone for IPPT know whether we're allowed to wear track pants to cover up our knee, or at the very least wear long tights underneath the shorts. Don't want to show up on the day with long pants just to be rejected. Thanks in advance!

Based on the indicated dress code for enlistment, 'tshirt, long pants, running shoes', will i be allowed to use the running shoes i use to report throughout my confinement week and after? (PT/admin time etc)

Im pes bp cuz my bmi was above 27 but i did my ippt in jc and I got 63/100. So what should i do? Because i heard reevaluating would cause my enlistment date to be later but staying in bp would mean my bmt is 2 months. What should i do if i want to serve the least time in ns?

Pes b1 enlisting to scdf on 11/11 and how is ptp like?
I have severe myopia and unable to get prescription swimming goggles. Are they compulsory and would i be needing them?
How strict is the lights out rule? Would I be able to use my phone after lights out?

Very strict. No phone usage after lights out unless you wanna die. Swimming lessons will be done but goggles are not compulsory but will help a lot

SCDF swimming lessons have been shifted to after POP, during vocation (EMT/FFC only), so you do still have time. If you get caught using phone after lights out it is fairly bad, but many people hide it and use anyway.

Genuine question here. I am currently on my 2nd gap year from poly due to ongoing Depression/Gambling addiction/Severe Obesity. Yes,I am going to IMH and Nams for these. Yes,I am 20 years old and yet would be going back to poly year 3 next year. I pretty much screwed my own life. I just wanna ask fellow Singaporeans regarding the PES status,I know there are recent changes regarding how NS allocate their PES status now but what PES status would I probably get?
After seeing these recent stories, tbh I am just afraid right now. I have always been a target for YPs ever since I was young so I guess I seem to be easy to bully and tbh,I dont even know whether my mind would be well enough. Hopefully things change in the future and I get better because honestly,I want to serve NS but I just am not sure whether I would be prepared for it. I already have a lot of self hatred so I just ask you guys to be kind to me,thank you so much.

From JC batch here. Recently my friends have received their letters, telling them to report Pasir ris camp next Jan which i assume is for the commandos formation. However, i havent received one, or one to anywhere, for that matter. Just wanna ask if this means that I have been formally rejected? or does the letter come in batches? Edit: I went for the CDO VA

Possible to get NDU?
Have vocational assessment coming up soon for NDU. Wouldn’t mind getting it but at the same time not very fit + have sinus and wear specs.
Hearsay from sister that since I’m poly will have even lower chances of getting in.

Whats my most likely vocation as a SPR
I've been living in singapore all my life. Born in kk did my psle o lv and finishing my poly diploma now. Practically a singaporean by heart. Both my parents are from china but they used to work in the china ambassy in sg but NOT involved in any political. They were more involved in the supporting of day to day operations similar to a normal/ typical business. Which i know is probably gna fuck my clearance up 😂 but they have long been doing other biz in sg unrelated to politics. I'm pes A and soon to do ippt, just want to know a rough gauge of what's possibly to come for me (like vocation and ns life). Personally i rlly like SCDF and SPF as they are close to home but if the day comes where outfield is practically my life... I think i will survive but preferably not... Thanks 🙏
