According to Changi Airport the flight is now scheduled to arrive in SG at 0818 tmr

For any of you who have friends or family on that flight. My guess based on flight time is they will take off again 1am-ish

Gosh what could have happened that necessitated a 50 minute stop over at Rockhampton?

That’s cap indo airspace is well alive and open.

Maybe SAF never file the necessary permits to Indo government for this charter flight

it's not SAF to file it's RBA to file

I hope the aircraft in question V8-DLC has no issues, I look at the previous flight this aircraft did, it did fly for a week guys. Don’t tell me pitot tube got bee hive or wasp nest again.

seeing how the second return leg is scheduled close to their landing time I guess it's not too big of an issue but they just want to land back to check and likely do a crew swap (swap with crew for tmr flight out)

Interesting they didnt divert to Darwin

my guess is due to weight and the issue they encountered isn't too serious that requires an immediate landing

Edit: Should add on planes have a maximum weight they can safely land at and my guess since the flight from ROK to SG is long they might be overweight if they tried to land at Darwin plus ROK has no scheduled flights till tmr morning. Getting a slot out would be easier? and also it's the flight origin
