MP3 & DAPs

Hello, I want to ask where to find decent DAPs and mp3 players in the valley. Second-hand is ofc fine and kind of expected, just like the idea of having a device just for music. Also understandable if there’s not really any straight forward answer lol

For Kathmandu specifically, I'd check in this order:

  1. Hamrobazar (best chance)
  2. Facebook Marketplace
  3. Nepali audiophile Facebook groups
  4. Oliz Store / audio shops around New Road and Putalisadak for leads on importers

The DAP scene in Nepal is quite small, so most owners buy abroad and later resell privately rather than through dedicated stores.
