Im not a iranian theocracy supporter as I am a secular iranian that wants a democratic government in iran but you can't compare a nation under a trillion sanctions to a nation that imposes Those sanctions. The reason why they can't make cars like Tesla's and or advanced technology is because they can't purchase chips, materials and equipment to be able to manufacture a Tesla like product. Yes if the regime acted like a responsible government and tried to actively join the rest of the world without acting like they have rabies by demanding death every Friday technology wouldn’t be sanctioned and the Iranian currency would be worth more then the paper it’s written on. But by sponsoring terrorism and hostage taking they have gotten themselves in this mess. It’s not like they were sanctioned for no reason what so ever and the world was just bullying them. This regime has been in power for 47 plus years and has not actually governed for one day.
