Video Help

What could the squeak mean?? Got under the car and took off the dust cover on the transmission, squeak is super loud here and in the engine bay where the firewall is. Any help is appreciated and thanks 🙏

Throw out bearing or look up grease pivot

My 2000 started making a horrible squeeling noise on startup - pretty dramatic actually. This was like 2006 or so - so after about 5-6 years of ownership.

I drove it like that for another 2 or so years :)

When I pulled it all apart, the throw out bearing was of course toast.

The clutch fork was so worn out it was resting on the bell housing.

Car drove just fine if you could ignore all the noise...

The clutch? Barely worn lol

I guess I'm saying: "don't panic"

My tob was squeaky on my 03. Installed a Spec stage 1 clutch w new tob. Squeaky shortly after install... 🤦‍♂️
