Biden like ramble? Biden never rambled. Trump has always rambled.
94
u/Cynical_Classicist 2d ago
But according to the media it's fine if Trump does it.
63
u/lord-of-shalott 2d ago
Remember when they said a president who’s a woman might be emotional and start a war and then they voted for the guy who has 2AM all caps rants on social media and started a war with Iran
28
u/Dooby27 2d ago
And don’t forget he also kidnapped Venezuela’s President.

Don't forget about Cuba

Or Greenland...

What Trump is doing to Cuba is criminal. I can’t help but wonder how many Cubans have died because the didn’t have electricity and health issues. Just imagine if you didn’t have electricity for a week and then imagine how bad you would have it without electricity, without gasoline for your car, not being able to get to the ER because the ambulance corps didn’t have any diesel for the ambulance. I believe what Trump is doing to Cuba is a war crime.
1
u/Full-Anybody8157 9h ago
For it to be a war crime there needs to be a war. What you’re describing is crimes against humanity
3
2
u/Unicron1982 2d ago
Yeah, Trump does so many incredibly dumb and/or shocking stuff, that half of it just gets forgotten. He literally kidnapped the leader of another country and threw him in jail. In normal times, this would be fucked up enough to fill the newspapers for a year.

u/Majestic-Attitude615 2d ago
instead we just have someone who is emotionally (and everything else) unstable 24-7 - good job there......
13
u/Murat_Gin 2d ago
When tRump does it, it's not senility. It's a rhetorical device called "The Weave."
6
u/Mysterious_League165 2d ago
It's his normal state to ramble. if he ever makes sense we have to assume he's gotten hit on the head and needs medical attention.
1
u/mariana-130 1d ago

Biden didn't have to buy, bully or intimadate ppl. Whoever disagrees with trump gets fired, invaded or called childish names. Shows amuricas level of maturity.

u/Wild-Floor8407 2d ago
Ill just leave this here for awhile.
The Independent is owned by three main shareholders through Independent Digital News & Media Ltd: • Evgeny Lebedev (41%): Russian-British businessman and chairman. • Sultan Muhammad Abuljadayel (30%): Saudi investor who acquired a stake in June 2017. • Justin Byam Shaw (26%): British media executive and investor.
-2
u/Sweaty_Negotiation0 2d ago
So what's the significance of posting ownership shares? What does it mean and why should we care?
2
u/Wild-Floor8407 2d ago
Draw your own conclusions
-2
u/Sweaty_Negotiation0 2d ago
That's rich. Without specificities it's nothing more than WWII quality propaganda.
1
u/Wild-Floor8407 2d ago
It would be propaganda I drew the conclusions for you that would benefit my side of the argument. Im leaving it up to you to interpret as you will by providing these facts. I will say your defensiveness about this information is making me draw some conclusions about you.
4
u/a10-brrrt 2d ago
Biden could ramble but they were complete sentences on a coherent path. Orange Jesus is spouting the stream of consciousness of a brain addled sociopath.
3
u/JefferyTheQuaxly 1d ago
Yeah if Biden got confused he would struggle to say what he is trying to say he didn’t ramble, Trump literally rambles every other damnsentence.
If you actually read a transcription of Trump speech it’s pretty insane. This is an actual honest to god speech he gave years ago now about his uncle being a nuclear scientist (he wasn’t):
Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you're a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it's true! — but when you're a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that's why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we're a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it's not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it's four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven't figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it's gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible."

I want to take this back to my 7th grade teacher who made us sentence map and challenge her to do it. But with a Time Machine and wait until she chewed me out until I told her that was from a future president and that I am from the future.
3
u/OverlordMMM 2d ago
Biden did have occasional rambles as it got further into his presidency and the following campaign, probably due to aging and stress, but Trump has constantly rambled since his first campaign.
There's basically no comparison between the two. Trump has always spoken in English word salad, but the majority of conservatives ignored it.
3
u/ExtensionCustard9010 2d ago
Trump makes MAGA feel like they are the smart ones. His simplistic ways of thinking are perfect for his base and then make them feel like they are the logical smart ones and everything is so simple and they're a part of the "in group". Whatever that means. It's very validating for his base.
1
2
u/Majestic-Attitude615 2d ago
Biden gave a perfectly decent D-Day speech the last year of his presidency ....and he didn't even feel the need to talk about himself incessantly - how I miss that.......

u/GoochLord2217 1d ago
They rambled in different ways, Trump goes way off topic and at times can be incoherent, Biden would ramble off on random sentences and/or words partly because of his stutter. Look at Biden's talk with Don Lemon for example on the Covid vaccine
0
u/Jumpy_Crow5750 2d ago
Let’s be objective. Biden did some god rambling which has nothing to do with his party or agenda. The man was just old as fuck and tired. He was just a normal man….
1
0
u/Paratwa 2d ago
I can’t stand the orange diaper son anymore than any sane person but for real man? Biden absolutely did ramble… not as bad as Trump but pretending he didn’t is disingenuous
3
u/PolarNightProphecies 2d ago
He did but the headline frame it as if he did so more than trump,. He did not.
2
u/Majestic-Attitude615 2d ago
not even by a country mile - show me a highlight reel of Biden senior moments from his whole term.....and then one by the current president just in the last week...which would be longer.........
3
u/Majestic-Attitude615 2d ago
but hardly...especially compared to now......you are ret-conning the amount of senior moments....... ...don't forget he also had a stutter.........I heard him give a pretty good D-Day speech the last year of his presidency ....uplifting....and he didn't talk about himself once(!)......or throw in nasty barbs about someone or some group he doesn't like......it was just on topic like it should be.........how I miss that.....
1
u/brickville 1d ago
More like Biden sometimes did a Trump-like ramble. Off-topic rambling is 100% Trump brand.

Biden rambled for 15 mins about roaches and hairy legs. Biden is the lesser of two evils but cmon now
1
u/jrstinkfish 2d ago
I'm sure he did. Did he ramble pretty much every time he spoke though? We're so used to Trump's style of speaking at this point that we think it's "normal", but he's been unable to stick to a thought for years now.
1
u/Chet_Manley24 2d ago
I mean, you watched the debate, right?
3
u/jrstinkfish 2d ago
I didn't claim he never rambled. The point is Biden didn't do it nearly enough to have Trump's rambling labeled "Biden-esque". It's a headline meant to imply "well, the other guy rambled all the time tooooooo!" and it's just not true.

Biden wasn't exactly on top form by the end, but this shitstain is the patron saint of consistently incoherent garbage. The comparison is jarring.

Biden like ramble??? FFS, Biden was never this bad. Fuck off with that BS.
3
u/jrstinkfish 2d ago
He rambled a couple of times in 4 years and now it's a Biden-like ramble. Trump attached "weave" to his senility and somehow it's just normal.
4
u/TipRare1321 2d ago
It's fucking infuriating. Sure, Biden got old and he should've dropped out earlier due to his cancer, but he was never craven and hateful. You know he wanted people to do well.
7
u/Desperate_Damage4632 2d ago
Biden didnt ramble. He stuttered. His message still made sense. Trump is gone, mentally.
9
u/mrtrololo27 2d ago
Trump has never been able to string together three or more coherent sentences, including in his first term when his dementia was less advanced. Trump is the rambler. Biden may have had a stutter, but he could coherently speak. There is no comparison between the two. Trump is a demented pedophile who must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law along with every other traitor in this pathetic, Un-American regime.
1
u/wonkey_monkey 2d ago
Trump has never been able to string together three or more coherent sentences
He can however string together over two dozen completely incoherent ones.

They’re literally trying to rewrite modern history with headlines like this. The shit we see happen every day on full audiovisual display. Literal 1984 shit. Never once heard Biden ramble in any way even remotely resembling Trump’s absolute nonsense.
1
u/Majestic-Attitude615 2d ago
and wasn't it nice he wouldn't constantly just talk about himself....he could stay on topic without getting nasty about someone or some group he didn't like........how I miss that......

The fuck is Biden catching strays here???
Trump has always rambled like a moron. Biden had one bad debate when he was sick and suffering from cancer.
Just criticize Trump. No need for the both-sidism here.
-1
u/Reznerk 2d ago
Let's not whitewash how coherent Biden was during the last couple of years of his presidency lmao.
1
u/Majestic-Attitude615 2d ago
he was mostly fine.......he gave a pretty good D-Day speech in his last year - and he didn't even talk about himself or call people/groups he didn't like nasty things(!)......how I miss that.....you can ret-con all you want......but show me the "highlight reel" - then I'll make one about the current president from just the last WEEK that would be far longer...gimme a break

Ramble? Rambling? Tr6mp that is all you do. You are not a Leader nor a Manager. You just yell at people to get your way.
A Leader, a President sees where his Country wants to go and helps them achieve that. You are no Leader, no President and can never be a "King" in a Democracy.

u/sublimesting 2d ago
Trump has never not rambled like a baboon. Biden has always been eloquent and on point. He wavered but in the one debate yet his words rang true.

Everything he should've learned in Trump I he threw away in Trump II. It's amazing the way this administration and political party melted down with so much support. From tariffs, to the BBB, the Epstein files misrelease and the Iran War, it's been a total shitshow annihilating the country at every turn.
People really just voted for Bush I/II and didn't have any idea. Trump I tried to sidestep Bush's presidency and then when the returns came in from online bullshit they went full Bush 2.0. Nobody ever wanted that, and the Republican Party has apparently never understood that. We're even beyond that, inflation is a massacre on at least 70% if not 100% of the country. Tack in higher rates when Biden had soft-landed the economy into a smooth 2%-ish rate and probably phenomenally higher investments that would have real returns years later.
I don't know if there's a perfect word for it: catastrophe, this has been a catastrophe for America. Anyone voting for the dillweed and his tariffs is off. Really off. And they don't pay for anything. Fucking terrible.
1
u/Still_Night 2d ago
Donald Trump’s been rambling nonsense since he ran for office a decade ago. None of his convoluted lies and proposals had any basis in actual policy, he just was a loud dickhead that told the dumbest people in America who they should hate and blame their problems on and proceeded to make all of their lives worth by every possible metric while his fan base ate it all up. Not only the worst president of all time, one of the worst people of all time. Pathetic, insecure, pathological liar, sexual predator, and straight up douche bag who will go down in history as the one who brought fascism to America. But sure, compare his incoherent, senile ramblings to Biden, moron

For those of us who covered the last year of Joe Biden’s presidency, the 80-year-old’s demeanor elicited a sharp sense of deja vu — watching a past-his-prime, soon-to-be lame duck shrug off dismal polling and rising unaffordability while pivoting to talking about what happens after he is gone.
What? No. Biden didn't ramble. Biden wasnt a demented old Nazi that yelled at female reporters. Biden didn't tell the public they could get voter ID from their 6 year old daughters.
Biden didn't wreck the economy. He inherited the economy that trump messed up 2016-2020.
This is some BS to normalize Trump's presidency. I'm not having it. Flat out falsehoods.
I think I'm done with the Independent.
