Whistleblower reports and internal disclosures have highlighted critical concerns surrounding executive governance, financial operations, and workplace safety at Foster Love.

• Executive Misconduct & Mismanagement: Allegations of gross financial misconduct, misuse of non-profit resources, ethics violations, conflicts of interest, and organizational malfeasance under CEO Danny Mendoza.
• Sexual Harassment & Assault Allegations: several claims made against CEO Danny Mendoza from former employees, donors, and young adults with a history in the foster care system regarding sexual misconduct and an unsafe workplace.
• Legal History: Information regarding multiple misdemeanor charges associated with CEO Danny Mendoza are developing, sparked by an alleged fire incident and building insurance fraud.
• Governance Instability: Widespread staffing disruptions, including reported terminations of staff who raised concerns, mass resignations, board member departures, and the indefinite stepping-down of the Foster Love Executive Director.

I'm 23, an aerodynamics engineer at a startup company, and I've lived in Ahmedabad for 11+ years. I'm proud of where I am, but I was a shy, introverted kid who never explored what truly excited me, and I feel I've missed out on things I always admired.

I want to start now. I'm looking for a community in or around Ahmedabad focused on birdwatching, stargazing, wildlife, or earth science. I have no equipment and no experience, just genuine curiosity, free weekends, and a willingness to learn. I'm part of the Outreach Team at Project Nivesha, a social service and financial networking community working to make practical financial knowledge more accessible to underserved communities.

Our work revolves around two key areas: financial literacy and financial networking. We aim to help people make more informed financial decisions, understand the resources available to them, and work towards greater financial security.

We're currently looking to connect with NGOs, student-led nonprofits, and community organisations working in areas such as women's empowerment, youth development, education, livelihood support, and community welfare.

We're interested in exploring meaningful, mutually beneficial collaborations. What does the work involve?
Participants will listen to short audio clips (0–20 seconds) and transcribe what they hear in the respective language.
This collaboration aims to create meaningful earning opportunities for local community members, especially women, while contributing to the development of voice AI technology for Indian languages.
