Jackery 5000 which plug

Hello all, waiting to close on an off grid cabin in a couple weeks, currently powered off generator, but I am wanting to limit the noise and such of running a generator so considering all the usual suspects as far as power banks, jackery 5000 at the moment is out front. Question I have is on the Jackery it has a 30 amp plug and a 50 amp, wondering which I should use and why?
I intend to put the jackery inside the cabin so I don’t run into any issues with the cold, and as such will put a plug in the wall hooked to the electrical panel in the cabin with an interlock.

i had the same question a while back as i was planning some things out. The general consensus seemed to be "if you can set it up for 50 amp service, why not?" ...which is a very fair perspective.

ultimately i ended up going with the 30 amp solution because every time i started mathing things out, i realized there was basically no way i would ever need the extra capacity.

so my little off grid location has a small panel that i plug into the 30 amp outlet on my F3000

fwiw, my 'off grid cabin' is a modified 20' container. unless i decide to turn on the air fryer WHILE using the ac, i'm barely using 1000w at any given moment

I also normally subscribe to “why not” model of things lol. I should probably wait to see what the circuit for the mini split is then decide.
Still have a couple weeks till closing so I guess I will sit here and stew on it.

Usually my attitude too, but I really could see no path forward to needing more than 3600w so I figured I'd save the money

Where I get lost in the weeds is the 5000 plus will evidently do 14400w surge

id double check the inlet + breaker are sized for the Jackery output, and make sure the interlock is a listed one for that panel so theres no way to backfeed the utility. also check whether the unit wants a bonded neutral or floating neutral before tying into the panel. an electrician can verify that part pretty quick

Use the 30 amp if you plan to draw </= 30 amps.

Use the 50 amp if you plan to draw > 30 amps but </= 50 amps.

That was helpful 🙄
Seeing as the 5000 only has 7200w it can’t go over 30A
