Looking for a good chair

Budget around 500€

Need a good lumbar support, so Steelcase Gesture or any other Chair from them is already out. Can not try or buy a Herman Miller.

Just bought the Fractal Refine 2 and that Chair was the worse Chair I had because of the waterfall on the seat towards the backrest. I thought my spine will pop out with so much pressure.

I understand that viewpoint, which is why we recommend second hand & refurbished options.

But you can call it a scam, we rather call it an investment. It helps your body stay physically able to function (legit, good posture is very important for your back) & the fact that most of these chairs last 15+ years without parts changed, is a testament to the quality.

I have shoes that were €140 when I got them. I got them in 2014. They are still comfy, they went through hell. I take decent care of them. But I nothing special, just a wash every now and then. Before that I got cheap shit every couple years.

Same thing with my matras, I didn't go insane either but went for a larger bed this time and decided it was time to spend a bit more. I sleep like an angel now. Also a tip for a matras, a topper does a lot of the heavy lifting.

Anyway, my chair is ~18 years old. Picked it up for €30. I expect at least a comfy 5 more years at the least. But will see..

Leap v2 has good lumbar tho. Its more the upper back where this chair becomes sheitty. At least if you're tall. Its a pretty hard backrest so if you're taller that thing isnt on your shoulder but between your shoulderblades. Kinda hurts due to how thin the padding is

Leaning back is actually pretty painful on this thing if you are taller than 6' or so. If I actually slide down the chair it feels a lot better to recline because it actually reaches the shoulders/will actually bend with your bodies curve. But if i don't? Ugh. Headrest feels a bit mandatory
