Steelcase Leap V2 cushion replacement in Canada
My Leap V2 chair seat cushion is now uncomfortable to sit in as I feel the frame with my butt. I'm looking at replacing the seat cushion, and unfortunately Crandall and BTOD will not ship to Canada. From my research, that leaves OfficeLogix but I saw some bad reviews saying there's no improvement, and with the shipping, brokerage fees and 25% tariff, it's going to be very expensive for me. Wondering if anyone has any luck sourcing a refurb/new cushion from Steelcase, or any other option like reupholstering to get some more life out of the chair? The rest of the chair works fine it's just the cushion that's the problem. My next step would be to sell the chair and get a new one but wanted to see if I can save it first. I'm in the Toronto area, if that helps.

Would the LiberNovo Maxis work for my pregnant wife
Hi all. I’m trying to find a good chair for my wife, who is four months pregnant with our second child. She works from home as a freelancer and spends around seven hours at her desk most days. During her first pregnancy, her old chair became pretty uncomfortable once her belly got bigger. The backrest seemed to catch her in the wrong place, and sitting all day put more strain on her lower back. I’d rather get ahead of that this time and find her something sturdier with better support.
I’m considering the libernovo maxis airflow right now. A lot of owners seem to like the recline, and I could see that being useful when she needs to take some pressure off her back. My concern is the size. She’s 5’10”, which is right at the bottom of the height range listed on their website.
When figuring out whether the chair will fit her, what should we pay the most attention to? Seat depth, lumbar placement, or the height and width of the backrest? I’d especially appreciate hearing from anyone around her height who has spent some time in the Maxis.

Sihoo c300 pro v2 - Just marketing?
Hello people of r/OfficeChairs ,
I'm considering buying a new ergonomic chair. My use case is mostly work(5-8hrs) + occasional movie/gaming(not p0).
I am 6ft tall and weigh about 240lbs. For the love of god I am not able to find a chair that works for me without selling my kidney.
I checked out Sihoo doro c300 pro v2, Hbada E3 pro. These look straight up like a scam because all the reviews online are just paid marketing and can't trust them. Other options are HM Aeron Size C or steelcase leap v2, which cost like 2k.
Please help me buy a chair that fit me and is comfortable, preferable under $500.
Thanks a lot!

Green Soul Jupiter Pro vs The Sleep Company Onyx — or is there a better ergonomic chair on Amazo/Flipkar sales?
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a solid ergonomic chair for 8–10 hours of daily WFH/gaming (Height: [Insert], Weight: [Insert] kg).
My budget is around ₹8k–₹12k, and I've shortlisted two options:
- Green Soul Jupiter Pro (Molded foam seat, seat-depth slider, 4D arms, 3-year warranty)
- The Sleep Company Onyx (SmartGRID seat)
For anyone who owns either:
- Does the Jupiter Pro’s foam sag or flatten over time?
- Is the SmartGRID on the Onyx actually good for long hours, or just marketing hype?
- How is the after-sales/warranty support for both brands?
- Are there better alternatives in this price bracket (e.g., Featherlite, Sihoo, Kepler Brooks, etc.)?
- Any solid ergonomic chair deals on Amazo or Flipkar right now that are worth checking out instead?
Would love to hear your suggestions before I pull the trigger. Thanks

Need recos for study chair under Rs. 9k in India, for long seating hours
As already mentioned I am looking for a study chair, for seating long streches. Found Green Soul Jupiter Pro and Superb, are they good enough and comfortable?
Or should I just go for Cellbell, its less than half the price of green soul or even less.
Need honest advice please.
Highest budget-8 to 9k

Looking for a good chair
Budget around 500€
Need a good lumbar support, so Steelcase Gesture or any other Chair from them is already out. Can not try or buy a Herman Miller.
Just bought the Fractal Refine 2 and that Chair was the worse Chair I had because of the waterfall on the seat towards the backrest. I thought my spine will pop out with so much pressure.

Hands on review of the Odinlake L3
I received the OdinLake L3 FlexBreath after being selected as a tester through a giveaway on this sub-reddit. The chair was provided for free for me to use, make an honest review, and keep afterward. I've now spent about three weeks using it, with considerably more sitting time than a typical office worker. I've also spent time sitting in chairs from Herman Miller, Humanscale, and Steelcase, and I currently own the Steelcase Gesture with a headrest pictured alongside the L3. Overall, my experience has been positive, but there are a few things worth knowing before buying it.
Comfort & Seating Experience
The standout feature for me is the overall comfort. The mesh seat and backrest distribute my weight evenly, and I haven't noticed any pressure points even after sitting for hours. More importantly, the chair hasn't aggravated my lower back or neck. At first, I didn't really care about the breathability of the full mesh design, but after last week's heat wave, I definitely appreciated it a lot more and was thankful I was reviewing this chair. The headrest has been one of my favorite parts. It has plenty of adjustment, so I can get it right where I need it to support my neck. I also have an athletic build, and the seat pan is wide enough that I never feel cramped or confined while sitting in it.
Build Quality & Component Mass
One of the first things I noticed while unboxing the chair was the weight of some of the components. The backrest and armrest assemblies have a surprisingly dense and heavy feel to them. While weight alone doesn't guarantee long term durability, the heft of these components gives a good initial impression of the build quality. I still can't really comment on true long term durability or warranty experience, but nothing so far has changed my initial impression.
Ergonomics & Controls
The areas where I found the chair less impressive were mostly related to the controls and armrests. The lumbar tension dial is located on the rear exterior spine of the backrest, so you have to get out of the chair to make an adjustment. That makes it difficult to adjust the tension while actually sitting in the position you're trying to dial in. The recline tension knob is also located under the seat, which I found less convenient than the rest of the adjustments.
The armrests are a bigger issue for me. They don't lower far enough to let my arms rest naturally at my sides, so I have to slightly flare my arms and shoulders outward to rest on them. Because I already have a rotator cuff issue from lifting weights, this position causes noticeable discomfort around that area. I also wish the arms had more articulation. This is one area where I've gotten used to my Steelcase Gesture, since its arms give me a lot more freedom to position them exactly where I want them. I don't expect the L3 to copy the Gesture, but having more range of movement would make a noticeable difference for me. The armrests can also flip back and completely out of the way, which is a feature I appreciate. It gives me the option to move them aside when I don't need them, although I still wish they could go lower and had a little more articulation when I do want to use them.
Assembly & the Modular Base
Another area worth mentioning is the assembly. The L3 uses a 5 star base that arrives in separate pieces, requiring you to attach each leg to a central hub using two M6x12 screws. While ten steel M6 bolts provide plenty of raw shear strength on paper, the modular assembly introduces a potential issue because of the included tool. The small L shaped hex key can get the screws completely tight, but doing so requires a lot of force because there isn't much leverage. In my case, putting that much force into such a small tool noticeably aggravated my rotator cuff, and I could see this being difficult for someone with a similar shoulder issue. Even though the screws come with pre applied blue threadlocker, the joint still needs to be properly tightened for it to do its job. Without enough torque, repeated rolling and shifting could allow the legs to micro flex and potentially loosen over time. I was able to get everything tight with the included hex key, but it took considerably more effort than it should have. I would recommend using a socket ratchet with a hex bit and a longer handle, which gives you more leverage and makes tightening all ten bolts much easier.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I've enjoyed using the L3 and think it gets the most important part right: it's a comfortable chair that I can spend a lot of time in. Most of my criticisms come down to the armrests, control placement, and the extra effort needed during assembly rather than the actual sitting experience. Having spent a lot of time with high end ergonomic chairs, I came into this test with a decent idea of what I personally look for in a chair. There are definitely a few things I would change, but my overall experience with the L3 has been really positive.
My Rating Summary
Pros:
- Outstanding mesh comfort and breathability
- Plenty of headrest adjustment
- Heavy, dense backrest and armrest assemblies
- Comfortable for extended sitting
- Has not aggravated my lower back or neck
- Armrests can flip completely out of the way
- Wide seat pan
Cons:
- Armrests do not lower enough for my natural arm position
- Less armrest articulation than I would like
- Armrest position aggravates my rotator cuff during extended use
- Rear mounted lumbar tension control is inconvenient to adjust
- Recline tension control is located under the seat
- Included hex key requires a lot of force to fully tighten the modular base

Plastic office chairs with no upholstery at all?
Hi,
are there any plastic comfortable office chairs with no upholstery at all? I had leather/fake leather fail after some time and during hot summers I like to chill without t-shirt and don't want fabric to absorb all the sweat.
I found Sedus se:motion but looking for other options as well.

Looking for good looking office chairs like a Langfjall
I’m looking for two chairs to have at my desk for visitors. I liked the look and feel of the langfjall from ikea: they looked nice and were also comfy. anything similar out there. Rolly comfy chairs that don’t look like typical office chairs?

Looking to buy a chair under 20-22k
I sit on a broken plastic chair for hrs and don't even get up in between and it's a plastic chair so ofc my posture changes every 30 min or 1hr and feels uncomfortable but I can't ignore this for long because the effects of sitting like this are showing up slowly and I don't want to get my body cooked and messed up. So I am looking to buy a chair which is comfortable, durable, and I should be able to sit for hrs without changing my posture and still feel comfortable... I just want it to be a one time investment (like get the chair and forget about it) , don't want it to break in months and go around service centers.

Upgraded from a gaming chair to the ProtoArc EC200, first impressions
Upgraded from a gaming chair to the ProtoArc EC200, first impressions
I had a gaming chair before, and the EC200 is already much better. Assembly took me less than an hour.
Early days, so I will update after a few weeks of use. Disclosure: ProtoArc includes a card offering a free mouse for sharing my experience. This post is my own opinion.

Fractal Refine 2 Reviews?
Hello, has anyone used the fractal refine 2? I see only few reviews on YouTube and not many consumer reviews so wanted to check if it's worth it. I'm currently testing the libernovo Omni se but the seat is too soft for me, so looking for a replacement.

Need chair for work
Like title says, I need a chair for work, I've been using an old gaming chair since probably 2012 that has no padding anymore and my back can't do it.
Looking for one that will fit someone 6'4 and 170lbs+, hopefully under $500? any thoughts?

Replacing my Steelcase Gesture after almost 6 years. What else should I be looking at?
Hey r/OfficeChairs!
I've owned a Steelcase Gesture for almost six years and recently sold it for $600 while downsizing ahead of a move. Overall, it was a great chair that held up incredibly well, although the seat started bottoming out over the last year or so. Granted, I've also put on some weight following my dad's passing and some financial hardships, which probably hasn't helped.
I'd have no problem buying another Gesture, but I'm curious what else is out there, especially since I paid around $1,100 new during COVID, and many premium chairs now seem to be pushing $2K+.
For context, I'm in the Chicagoland area, work in IT leadership, and spend a good chunk of my day at a desk. I'm 6'0", around 320 lbs currently (working toward getting back under 300), so seat width, comfort, adjustability, and durability are all priorities.
I've narrowed things down to another Gesture, the Haworth Fern, or the Steelcase Leap Plus. The Fern looks REALLY interesting, but I'm unsure how well it'd accommodate someone my size. The Leap Plus seems like a safer bet on paper, although I'm a little concerned about its shorter backrest. I've always preferred taller-backed chairs like the Gesture and Fern.
I'm probably 1–3 months away from buying, with a flexible budget of $1,000–$2,200 depending on whether I go new or used. I'd rather spend more on something that'll last and perform well for me than try to save a few hundred.
For anyone who's spent meaningful time in these chairs, especially bigger folks, what would you recommend?
Is the Fern worth considering at my size? Is the Leap Plus comfortable enough to justify giving up the taller backrest? Or should I just stick with what I know and pull the trigger on another Gesture?
Open to other suggestions too. Just trying to do my homework before dropping another chunk of money on a chair.
Thanks in advance for your feedback and recommendations!

ProtoArc EC200 office chair
I spent a long time looking for the right office chair I've had quite a lot of experiences of ones that look great but don't really impress. I found the ec200 and I was comparing about five other chairs at the same time eventually I chose this one particularly because it had the most adjustments and I like the style. When it came it was so well packaged with a really nice selection of leaflets and things it just felt very professional and I like the tone of voice on the intro talking about the founder. Onto the chair itself and I have to say this is the easiest thing I've ever received and had to construct it was so well packaged, labeled and instructions were really clear. Within haZFlf an hour I was up and running with a great chair. Six different angles to sit back on the first row really useful to me. And you can adjust the tension I never feel hot in the chair and it feels super sturdy I think this one will last a very long time.

I bought a new musso x700 chair, but I noticed it is from oct 2025
I recently purchased a brand new chair from A mazon, which included a discount of €200. After installation, I noticed a tag indicating production in October 2025. Could this mean the chair is considered new? Should I have expected a product manufactured more recently? Is this standard practice?
