He can disavow it all he wants. His campaign is backed by MAGA. They are spending more on him than his own campaign. If he is worth anything as a candidate this would tell him something pretty important and he would act accordingly.

That’s cool. It should also be very telling who supports a person. This is similar to when Tim Pool was being paid by Russia via Tenet Media but not being given talking points. If you’re already projecting that rhetoric outwardly, and a dictator wants to signal boost you, that should say something about your rhetoric and should require a change. Greg hasn’t adjusted his rhetoric despite being used in the same way.

You can check the status of a ballot and I've also gotten emails about seeing who of your family/friends have voted (although I don't do that because it just sounds creepy and I know they all do)

I don't get deep into PSL's history, but generally having met folks involved, I like them as people.
That said, when the political party that is actively putting folks in concentration camps is exploiting your candidate by deceptively spending hundreds of thousands more than your party is via PACs like this ... y'all fucked up.
Dumb as hell decision to run, particularly because Greg's campaign is just populist and competent enough to be damaging, but never actually had a chance. Try to build your brand with another race ffs.

I mean the PACs are following a totally logical path of attack. I can't even find it in myself to be angry at them sadly. Ratfucking is classic American politics. Kick your opponent in the nuts in the dirtiest way possible. Most folks who were paying attention knew this type of stuff would happen.
I'm sure PSL knew the risk as well, but they were so idealistic to see this campaign as worth doing in order to build out their independent organizing abilities and move towards another cycle with a slightly better chance, be it with Greg or someone else on the ticket.
It's like in this environment each part of the anti-Republican coalition needs to wear it's own piece of armor perfectly in order for any opposition politician to win statewide in Ohio. And somehow the suit of armor looks like it might actually come together in such a way the Republicans could lose a Senate seat.
And you've got the parts of the suit of armor coming together that protect the limbs and head and chest coming together. Those groups bringing those pieces of armor look like they'll actually come together. Left leaning independents, mainstream moderate Dems, mainstream progressives, Never Trumper Republicans, newer conservative defectors, the "idiot uncle who was a hippie against the War in Vietnam but somehow recently voted for a fascist" caucus. They're all bringing pieces of armor to the coalition.
PSL (who are a tiny leftist group) weren't even assigned an independent piece of armor. They were assigned the role of being a strap that kept the codpiece (that was assigned to leftists and socialists more broadly) attached to the rest of the suit.
Without that strap now the codpiece is just dangling not securely attached, and the PACs are just kicking us, the opposition coalition in the nuts over and over. And they're going to keep doing it because the research indicates it could be just effective enough to be the difference.
And Greg, the PSL and many leftists, most of whom know the names Segretti or Atwater well enough to use them in a historical debate, chose to participate in this. At this particular moment in history. When we've got a legit fascist at the head of the Republican party trying to lock down our republic for a generation with democratic backsliding.
It's just so god damned stupid that this is something the coalition for sanity has to worry about.

We allow money to buy influence, in this case without the candidates own support! It's intentionally misleading but perfectly fine because money is money. They ALL need to fucking hang.
It's absolutely unacceptable for an out of State entity, to use it's deep pockets to push an unwitting minor candidate into the fore simply because they know they can sway some votes away. It's backhanded and shouldn't be legal in the first fucking place.

I'll die on a hill that I'm a Socialist, but I also live in the fucking reality that Levy never had a chance and was ONLY going to be a spoiler candidate. I'm sorry that this might hurt him and his campaigner's feelings, but they're just fascist enablers. Full stop, and they aren't fucking Leftists if they can't see that.
Pick another office to run in. Pick literally anything that actually has a chance. They want seats and power? Start fucking filling uncontested seats, fuck, I'm sure there are unfilled seats/offices!
If Husted wins, fuck Levy, he knowingly let the fascists take power. Period.

Im going off of what his insta said and there were a lot of questions about the maga money and his team is kinda just shrugging it off and saying they aren't involved but like....? Um no, you have more of a responsibility than just saying "oh that's not us but still vote for us. Do you actually care about getting Ohio & the country in a better direction then? He should really drop out or take this serious matter seriously and he's not. That's what makes me think he's a sly spoken grifter.

Honest to god I've never met Greg so I have no idea about him in particular. But most PSL folks I've met skew young, energetic, and idealistic. They wouldn't organize and do stuff that matters like changing brake lights to keep minorities out of the crosshairs of police if they weren't idealistic first and foremost. If they were shrewd politicos they wouldn't bother with brake lights.
And I've only met PSL folk (I'm generally older than most of them in my experience) because I still care about those more idealist causes that aren't necessarily bit vote-getters.
So not having met Greg, I'm going to give him the same grace I give the good PSL folks I've met. I'm going to doubt he's a grifter, because I've yet to identify a reliable grift for socialists in the United States in my lifetime. If there was one, you'd see more of them.
edit: And at this point I'm pretty sure with absentee ballots already in the mail almost two weeks ago the damage is locked in. It's just a question of if the "blue wave" is big enough for this not to matter. And personally, having seen how difficult it has been for an opposition candidate to win the last 3-4 cycles, I doubt it will be big enough.

I've gotten 3 of those mailers too in the past two weeks. At first, I thought it was a joke. Then, I researched and found out that the right-wing money was trying to raise the profile of Levy as a third party candidate to play spoiler to Brown candidacy.

It said that SB was waging war Black America (it claims that he voted for the crime bill, takes money from prison companies) and that you could end his war on Black America by voting for Greg Levy. SB has “HATE”written in his eyes.

Ironically this is partly how Trump got elected in 2016. The DNC were/probably still are so out of touch with the common people that they wanted Trump to get the GOP nomination thinking he'd be too weak to take on Clinton. And now in every election since their strategy has been "At least we aren't Trump/MAGA"

Apparently, a Republican PAC paid for and is distributing these flyers independent of the Levy campaign to try and draw voters away from Sherrod Brown. It’s got nothing to do with Levy or his campaign.

The Greg Levy for Senate Campaign has no ties to the entities circulating the mailer and we condemn this attempted deception of voters. There is a well established record of both Republican and Democratic Party operatives using their financial resources to try and trick voters. This is a highly undemocratic practice and does a disservice to voters in Ohio and throughout the country. Our campaign is historically rooted in Black and working-class communities throughout our state and our message of fighting for working people against the biggest banks and corporations is resonating with voters all over Ohio. We reject and condemn the dirty tricks and racist impersonation of our campaign by entities working on behalf of those same capitalist institutions.
