BEASTMASTER WEIGHT PROBLEM

How do I deal with the weight as I carry 2+ wolves? I pick up one while capturing and already encumbered.

Put down the rest of the stuff you're carrying and make sure you have your backpack expansion. If you're one wolf away from encumbered, something's weighing you down.

That said, it is really annoying having to carry my pets, even with the lower weight they have now.

It sucks to have to carry our beasts around just to summon them. I've been a beastmaster since the beginning, but I'm probably going to play a different class on my next run. They've taken the fun out of it and made beastmaster a chore.

In any case, craft the Jeep vehicle. Summon it. Go to the trunk and you can put your captured beasts in there. Continue capturing, and just keep summoning and fill the trunk. Return to base, resummon the Jeep, and empty the trunk.

not gonna lie though it grew on me..just realized bringing my animals around is fine for me. its easier now to reshuffle animals, on me I always bring my 2 deers, 2 leopards, 2 bears everywhere I go. summon my deer to travel around then swap to my bear if I gonna do combat. and my ranch would have free slot for babies to grow unlike before that combat animals eat up slots where a baby could have been growing up.
I only place them on my truck if I need to farm something. but yet again since we have limited hotbar anyways they could just remove the weight while they are on our bag..well at least for saddled animals I guess.

ps: if wondering why 2 deer and 2 bear. I am still in the process of checking which is better miniature or behemoth3 for deer but next scenario would only be bringing 1. 2 bear because still trying to figure out which is useful as a mount electric or fire while using the shockwave aftermath. hopefully we gonna get the update that let us use wolf as mounts so I can get back to just bringing 3 wolves and nothing else.

So you only run 1 build? Extra guns and armor for 3-5 builds weigh a lot. There's no capacity for all those animals. And feather weight doesn't work when mounted.

well I have 3 other builds that I shuffle between currently but used the same base armor with them and change only the key armor so the weight still is manageable..btw I am overweight so i have extra load too might be worth mentioning

I've never played beast master until now. Is there a pen I'm supposed to construct to keep them out at my base or just store them in storage? I can't seem to find an unlock for a pen.

A pen is just a series of fences, possibly with a gate. The actual structures for pets are the feeding trough and the youngling hut.

Equip one of your animals with a +100 animal backpack and carry a +80 backpack expansion, I carry 2 bears. 1 for mining and 1 for carry weight. Also your vehicles have a trunk to store items in.

How do you get the storage on the vehicles I’ve tried but it doesn’t give me the option to

Go to your trunk. It gives the option. Only on car and jeep.

I’ve played the other classes and I feel like they aren’t even worth being in there. I must of missed something because it felt like the chef couldn’t make any better food.

you definitely played them incorrectly, gardener and chef are incredibly strong. gardener can grow damn near every resource in the game from the comfort of their base instead of going out and looting. chefs can increase the buff % on food utilizing the camping stove and also get 2 drink buffs and 2 food buffs. amazing for dmg

I've been running silos a changed man I tell ya. Looting nah forget it. My 3 behemoth bears got ya mans at 98% encumbrance. The only loot I'm grabbing is the bosses loot. The party's gonna have to wait to start again because if we insta farm I'ma be JOGGING I'll tell ya what

Nah fr they had it right where our tames wandered in Base taking up 3/10 of the slots. The red whistle should just link to 3. One blow summons all linked.

Isnt there a 100 lb adding saddle you can put on one of them? Keep one out? Idk if it helps while its on you, this does not make sense in theory but I haven't tried it yet
