Can I move my current character and items into Isle of the Abyss when it drops?

My current Manibus server is about to convert into a permanent one, but I would like to know if it is at all possible to move my character to the new map, keeping my level 50, deviants, my blueprints, etc?

You have to sign-up for the new scenario with all transfer rules being applied.

You only keep blueprints, everything else resets, mats and deviants transfer to eternal land backpack and you can transfer 20k of points to transfer to that world you go to, best are purple drills saw and advance tool to recycling high end items early on to ether put in base or cycle into points

Character yes, items not necessarily. Once you move, everything on you gets moved to a place called Eternalland. Except Mods and Blueprints you unlocked. These are account wide unlocks rather than items.

You can bring back items from eternaland to the new scenario. But there is a limit. Limit is 20,000 some points (forgot the name). This like deviant, caliberations, electric drill and chainsaw are what I recommend and bring.

For example if you tried bring a stack of stardust source I’m pretty sure it will consume all of your 20K points. Necessarily each item has a value given from these points and it costs that amount of points to bring it to the new scenario. Once your points run out, you can no longer bring stuff from eternalland to the new scenario.

You can let that character go to a permanent Manibus server and start afresh with a new character/alt your BPs, and you can share deviations in eternalland as long as in group depot or anything else you think may be useful to start your new journey in Isles of Abysss when it launches.

you can keep your deviations, blueprints, and items like acid etc. your character level will reset. character level doesn’t matter anyway, your gear & mods is where dmg comes from

NO... because Isles of Abyss all characters start already lv50

NO... they will go into your Transit Storage. You must open backpack and click Transit Storage button and select All and Retrieve All (not sell). then open backpack click Inherit and move some deviants to the scenario. After transfering a chainsaw and drill you can move some 30 deviants, the rest stays in Eternaland

YES.... if you means weapon and gear blueprints, and furniture blueprints, of course. But if you mean stuff like crates and fridge and appliances and defense, then NO. Those have to be unlocked again through Tech page

NO... all the other items like food and materials and already crafted gear will go to Transit Storage just like deviants.

Items inside Transit Storage will expire and disappear after 30 days, dont leave stuff there.

Also remember you can make new characters while keeping the old ones. Many people in permanent servers only make alts in new scenarios while their main chills in perma Manibus for example

Yes and no.

You keep everything you've earned in game. All of your deviants and items and supplies. All of your blueprints and even your housing designs. BUT when moving/changing scenarios, even Manibus to Manibus, it all goes to your Eternalland.

When you load into a new scenario your character will be butt naked and level 1. Doesn't matter what scenario it is. Butt naked and level 1. Zero inventory.

But you open your inventory and there's an option to transfer items from Eternalland to your inventory. BUT there's a cost. You only have 20000 points to spend. DO NOT take weapons and armor. They waste a shit ton of points. You'll just have to re craft them. Instead, craft some chainsaws and drills. Pull one of each from Eternalland. Pull deviants from Eternalland. And leave the rest of your points for random needs.

I usually pull the chainsaw, logging axe and mining drill. 2 digbys, 2 beavers, 2 murder bunnies, 2 rabbits, 1 paper doll and then whatever combat deviant I need for my build(s).

But yes you keep all of your items, in a way, but no you aren't immediately taking it with you and no you don't get to keep your level and shiny max gear.

Dev blog says you will start isle of abyss at max level you just advance tech tree through exploration
