I’m a verified animal rescuer running a very small, independent cat rescue in Orange County. I wanted to introduce some of the wonderful cats currently in our care who are still waiting for their forever homes.
Unlike larger rescues, we don’t have a network of fosters. We personally take in and care for the cats we rescue until we find them loving, permanent homes.
Meet Shishi, Zuzu, Kawzim, Brigette, Dixie, Pumpkin, Peach, Pear, Spice, and sweet little Eclair, the youngest of our group!
They all have their own unique personalities. Some are incredibly affectionate, playful, and social, while others, like Zuzu and Brigette, are more timid and would do best in a quiet, patient home where they can feel safe and comfortable.
We’re really hoping to find forever homes for most of these kitties this fall. Some have been with us as long-term fosters and have been waiting quite some time for a family of their own. As much as we love having them, we’d love nothing more than to see them settled into homes where they can receive the individual attention, love, and companionship they deserve.
We’re hoping to reach people who are genuinely interested in adopting and willing to provide a safe, loving, lifelong home.

Usage is up 6.8% but cost is up 134%?! Not sure if I’m just late to the party, but it’s insanity that a monopolistic company is allowed to do this for an essential service.

Edit: realized I had a $56 credit climate last year being reflected in the Oct 2025 bill. This would translate to an increase of 23%, which is still insanity IMO.

My vote has typically been any of the Paul’s Place locations, but I’m always down to see if anyone has a better version of Americas best sauce.

Hello! I'm a medium experienced knitter/crocheter. I am looking for a knit/crochet club in the area. Extra bonus if the club does volunteer work/donations (making sweaters for penguins, making blankets for shelter cats, etc. things like that). Are there any options in Irvine (or Costa Mesa/Tustin)?

Small rant incoming because I am just annoyed. This was my first time coming, and while I have seen complaints about this event in the past, this one totally is a different level. I commuted all the way to Costa Mesa only to find out it is cancelled.

​Sure, I could have checked their Instagram before I left, but is it really hard to send an email to people who bought their tickets online instead of dropping a last minute post of them cancelling the event early Friday morning through their Instagram? Super unprofessional.

​Reason why I bought a Friday ticket months ago was cause it was a bit cheaper and so I can avoid the weekend crowd. What a waste of time. Now the Friday crowd is gonna be funneled into the weekend crowd like a zoo.

​Anyone else here got a Friday pass and is disappointed? This incident making me not want to go to their events again.

Has anyone gone to the pumpkin patch at Irvine Park Railroad on Halloween day in years past? For some reason it doesn’t require reservations on that day alone, so I can’t tell if it’s going to be overrun with crowds or people don’t go as much because they’ve got other plans on Halloween.

My family is in the evacuation zone for the Norte fire (I'm in San Francisco) and I watched the firefighters work their absolute ASSES off on the news to stop the fire and I think they're doing an incredible job.

While I knew firefighters are incredible people, you don't quite gain the same appreciation until they directly save your entire family's livelihood.

My mom is going to be baking many many cookies for them in the next few days! If you're a firefighter: THANK YOU!!!

What’s your go-to pumpkin patch this year, especially in North OC? We used to go to the one at Westminster mall but with the construction, that’s a thing of the past.
