Viajes a Peru | PeruTrip Anyone going for ISCB LATAM conference on Peru this year?
Undergrad here, just wanted to ask if anyone is going for ISCB-LATAM 2026 conference. If yes, let's connect
I am coming to Peru but I will be spending all my time in Lima. Can you please help me plan something as I have one day off from the conference?
Translation:
Hi, I'm an undergraduate student and I wanted to ask if anyone else is going to the ISCB-LATAM 2026 conference. If so, we have to connect. I'm going to go to Peru, but I'm going to stay in Lima all the time. Can you help me put together a plan? I just have a day off from the conference."

From where are you traveling, my friend? I've been losely involved in the organization. Sadly, I will not be able to attend as intended. But I will have some students there. I highly recommend just connecting with the people in the event. I hope you enjoy it.
I wanted to do a Lima guide for friends who will be visiting the city, but I'm still behind on that. Here's a guide from the Ministry of Tourism tho. You will be in the Barranco area, which is actually a touristic point. You can check out downtown and the beach. You could even do a mini excursion after the conference, I think, Barranco is safe and touristic. I also highly recommend visiting the center in your day off, which has all the colonial architecture. You should go during the day.
