ECF is stuck, I think

On October 5, 2026, I manually uploaded my wet signed ECF form. On October 7, my employment certification tab on studentaid.gov was updated to reflect that I was employed through October 5.

As of today, October 9, the ECF is still “in process” under my activity of my dashboard on studentaid.gov. My PSLF tracker was last updated on September 17 when my last ECF was processed. My NSLDS api backdoor link was last updated on October 2.

I’m at 117 qualifying payments. October will make 118.

I know, so frustrating. My 120th payment was August, so I was stuck like everyone else. But then I found out my previous job was PSLF eligible, and I was actually 16 payments over! Awesome, just submit an ECF and I would have those eligible payments certified…and now this.

October is supposed to be my 120th month of employment and I planned to apply for buyback and keep paying. But they just keep throwing new obstacles in the way, huh? FFS.

they have! not sure when it happened because I stumbled upon it about a week ago. no dashboard update since 8/22 (my aug ECF processing date.) nslds updated randomly on 9/29

How are you able to see when NSLDS gets updated? The verbiage there is so confusing
