I'm still pretty shaken so please excuse any mistakes, but I need to tell anyone what happened to me tonight.

I'll give a quick background, Im a 34F woman that lives alone with my 3 cats, i live in my small hometown in the appalacian mountains. I live in an old renovated modular home that sits back in the woods from the road. I have woods surounding me and a large bean field to my left. It has original single pane glass windows and heavy metal doors. It has an odd custom multi-level wood porch the original owner built in the 80s, it has several steps and landings leading up a bank to my front door. Its very difficult to get up the porch steps in the dark if you dont know where you are stepping. The electrical work is atrocious so many times at night I dont have the porch light on because if I plug my phone charger into the wrong outlet it will kick the breaker.

At around 11pm last night I turned off my living room light preparing to go to bed. I decided to open up my laptop and install an update for game so it would be ready to play in the morning. I put in my earbuds to play a music while I waited.

Thats when my cat Rosie puffed up, her hair stood on edge. Her ears went flat against her head and she let out this low snarl. Id never heard this sound from her before. She stalked out the hallway still snarling, something was wrong. I took out my one earbud and I heard loud banging. I followed Rosie out the hall thinking it was maybe my other cat playing in a box or rough housing. Then I got to the living room and the loud banging and scraping was coming from my front door. The door was being hit so hard it was moving.

Rosie's growling was so loud and the banging was so loud its all I could hear. My body turned cold and all common sense left me because I walked to the front door and turned on the porch light and looked out the window. The light made a loud snap and flooded the porch with light.

It was taller than me. Long dangling arms. Broad lumbering shoulders and a face of shadows. It darted like an animal off my porch with such speed. I saw as a long arm hit a bush as it darted away. Fear flooded my entire body. It wasnt an animal but it wasnt a person. It was only 5 seconds but I felt like I saw something I shouldn't have.

I called 911. I told the dispatcher someone was trying to get in my house. A patrolling officer was here in 5 minutes. I was shaking and my words were breaking, every shadow felt like it was watching me. The officer inspected my door and confirmed the doorknob had several scratches around it. He thought maybe a screwdriver. He inspected my house and checked every door and into the woods so far. The woods are really thick but he did his best. I told him what I saw, I tried to describe it with the broad shoulder, dangling arms. He said he was going to file a report and let my landlord know, its a small town so he knows him well. He gave me his number but he said if I heard another bang or anything suspicious call him asap.

The officer was gone by midnight. But the shadows still felt like they were watching. I had every light in the house on. Every door was boobytrapped with boxes and heavy random shit I found in my closet. I sat on my couch pointed toward the front door with my gun next to me. I couldn't sleep. I turned on the living room tv, pretending the light and noise would protect me. Rosie never left my side, she was on full alert still. The night still felt dangerous.

I called my friend on the west coast and told him what happened. He stayed on call with me until the adrenaline wore off and my body finally gave in. My eyes closed. I will be the first to admit I have a wild imagination and it seeps into my dreams but this dream didnt feel like mine.

I was in the woods. The woods right behind my house. I smelled the crisp fall leaves and the dampness of the rain that had fallen that day. I couldn't move my feet they were rooted to the ground. A large shadow with broad shoulders, dangling arms, and a face of shadows stood far off in the woods. My feet began to sink into the leaf littered ground and my breath was stolen from me. I grabbed my throat as I watched the air get dragged out of my body toward the shadow. Its gangly long hand raised, its claws long and chipped.

I woke up flailing my hands and yelling. Rosie was on my chest meowing loudly at me. My friend still on call was yelling my name. It took me a bit to gather myself but I was safe on my couch. Id only been alseep for maybe 40 minutes? It felt like 5 minutes. I made myself another coffee and watched my friend play a game and Rosie never left my side.

Its now finally daybreak. Im terrified to open my door. What if its waiting for me in the woods? What do I do? Ive heard of creepy cryptids in the Appalachian mountains but God damn I didnt ask it to come to my house! I never invited anything! I dont want to sleep, I don't want to leave. Rosie is my sole defender and she's getting all the treats she wants.

Doesn't anyone know what this thing could be? I dont think its human at this point. Im so scared.

I had reservations about accepting an office position when i saw it operated from the owners home that was smack dab in the middle of a trailer park. My job was to prepare medical records for court cases. Two employees were out in the field all day while I remained in our "office."

I found myself alone there quite often and would wave or sometimes chat with the senior citizens in the park.

I could see into a couple of windows on the mobile next door. There was an elderly lady and I would see gray curls pop up in the kitchen window around mealtimes. She wouldnt wave, but acknowedged me with a nod of her head and a crinkling of her eyes. Somedays she would be washing dishes and i would hear the gentle clinking of china and silver. Other days holding a small dog.

Then, i just stopped seeing her. I thought she must have moved. So I casually asked my new boss who the cute little lady was in the window next door. His face went white and his mouth hung slightly open. "What do you mean 'the lady in the window?" I told him of how she and i had interacted for weeks. He pulled a picture out of a drawer and said, "is this her?" And i said yes it is. He sat d own on his chair and was silent for a moment. "My mother lived in that trailer ... but she died 3 years ago snd no one has lived there since."

Growing up there has been a house that to this day remains in the family. We moved there when I was around 9 or 10 with my mom, two sisters and me along with my grandma, my aunt with her three kids and my other aunt and her one son plus every few months one of my uncles would move in with their kids until they get back on their feet then move back out. So it was a crowded house but even then we knew when something was wrong. The house layout is a bit hard to explain. First floor made a bit of a donut shape where you can walk from the living room to the dining room to the kitchen to the laundry room into the back bedroom, from the back bedroom to the first bedroom then out into the dining room and the stairs to the second floor sat between the dining room and the door to that bedroom. A single bathroom in the first floor, two bedrooms in the second floor, basement which sometimes had the spare bed my uncle slept one whenever he came to stay with us and a small closet next to the bathroom. Like I said its hard to explain but its smaller than you think and old.

My first encounter was I when I was home with my grandma who mainly took care of us while the moms were at work. My siblings /cousins where all in the living room watching TV and I was going to the dining table when I saw someone going up the stairs. The two bedrooms upstairs belonged to my mom, my two younger sisters and me so no one else really had a reason to go up there. I quickly go upstairs thinking one of my cousins were going up there to mess with my stuff but both doors where closed and when I looked around I couldn't find anyone. Back downstairs my grandma was in the kitchen and all my cousins and sisters where in the living room but I very clearly saw the back of someone walking up the stairs.

My second encounter was on the rare days when It was only my mom and I in the house, I was in the bath when I heard a loud slam on the bathroom door like someone slapped it. My mom quickly came over from the living room and asked if I was OK, I asked her why she hit the door but she said she didnt and was in the living room. Scared me so bad I ended the bath soon after. And the last major one that i remember was the day the police came to the door.

Now let me explain a bit, behind the house was a convenient store that had the back facing our backyard and an alley/dirt road in-between, a block away there was a middle school so there was alot of foot traffic from both middle schoolers, customers and the occasional homeless guy. Well one day a cop came to our door wanting to ask some questions about something that happened in the alley and wanted to talk to the moms to see if they saw anything. My mom took all the kids upstairs including me to my room to hang out for a bit while they talked to the police. Everyone else went in first and as i was going in I looked over to my moms room and saw what looked like a figure sitting on the edge of my moms bed under the blanket faving the window so their back was to the door and softly moving side to side. Before I could say anything I was shoved into my room and the door closed behind me. I counted all the kids in there and when we finally where let out i quickly went into my mom's bedroom to find nothing there not even the blanket disturbed.

I have talked to my cousins now that most of us are older and starting our own families and they all have said they experienced something weird in the house too. Like hearing people talk in rooms that where empty, hearing the sound of dishes clattering in the kitchen or the broom falling and smacking the floor hard only to look and see nothing out of place. Even similar things as me like someone walking up the stairs or the sound of hands smacking a door.

My mom moved my sisters and I out when she met my step dad and soon after my aunt with the three daughters found her own place and took grandma with her, leaving my aunt who met her current husband and later went on to have five more kids in that house. Even now with the newer younger cousins who still live there will tell me about the scary stuff that has happened to them. We have all come to accept that the house has some kind of ghost living in it but we just dont seem to care anymore.

I personally love using my free will to hear and believe people’s paranormal stories. Bad joke incoming: I am dead-serious ba-dum-tss about this.

But truly, I love hearing and reading about people’s paranormal experiences and investigations. I love finding out how other people interpret the same event from an outsider or skeptical perspective.

Believe in the spooky. Believe an entire world exists outside of our own that you have yet to explore! Believe in the wonder that there is far more to our experience than we could imagine!

Skepticism is healthy and helpful. Period, full stop (for me). It can be life-saving in many scenarios. It can help bring comfort to those who are scared and help us understand more about the world around us. But being blindly skeptical because you don’t think people should believe in the paranormal is just as harmful as blindly believing all stories are true. It narrows focus and you miss important aspects of why people even share encounters in the first place.

On the flip side: Support, listening with an open mind, and accepting there IS a chance so much more is out there is also healthy and helpful. Sometimes people don’t just want validation that it did or didn’t happen - they want someone to understand why it scared them, changed them, comforted them, etc. But blindly believing every story is counter-productive and can leave you, well, blind to real solutions and answers that could help you discover or learn even more.

Hello, I think I had a possible run in with a rake last night. They were trying to get into my home. It may have been a human but from what I saw I don't believe so, but now my resident ghosts are very upset.

My issue is now the ghosts in my home, I have 2 confirmed, are very upset. Not with me. But they are stomping around alot, moving things and being super active which is not like them at all.

I have 3 cats and we all get along for the most part. My one cat Rosie is super intune to that stuff and shes relaxed so I know they dont mean me any harm.

If it was a rake that tried to get into my house last night would that be what put the ghosts on high alert? I dont know enough of either world to really understand the behaviors. Just looking for advice on how to calm them down. Usually I keep this stuff to myself and just deal with it but having stuff thrown at the front door isn't helping my anxiety especially after last night.

So I bought a four storey building with nine apartments in peshawar Pakistan for rental value. And apparently the big apartment of 5 rooms is haunted. The first tenants spent about 7 to 8 months and then started complaining about strange things like money and jewelery went missing, and at the end things started to get on fire, like clothes in box, and bed sponge etc. I didn't believe them and they left. Now new tenants moved in and it's not even been like 15 days and he complained about his wife getting slapped on the backside of the neck, but when she looked behind there was no one. And says that now she is ill too after that incident and is very scared, so they are also moving out. What am I supposed to do now? Currently it's only limited to this one apartment on the second floor, what if it spreads to the other flats? That's gonna be costly to me. Not only will I lose rental value but no one's gonna buy it if I decide to sell it. Any suggestions, recommendations?

I’m going to start this by saying that I‘m here on inadvertent advice from several occult/witchcraft subreddits*, and that this is a crosspost from them. I‘ve spent the last year and a bit of my life attempting to convince myself that it was all a series on coincidences, but at this point either it’s something or I need yall to tell me for sure that it’s not.*

I’ve made a couple edits to the original post purely for the sake of ease of read. I’ve also attached a couple images that I think are related, that I didn’t attach on the original posts.

So I’ve been living in this house for over a year now, and since we’ve moved in we’ve been joking that the house is haunted. Like shit will fall off counters in another room for no reason, we’re hear random noises, etc. This has been an ongoing bit for us, as we also used to joke that our highschool homeroom was haunted for similar reasons. (We joked that she must have followed us here after we graduated)

But now I’m getting to my witts end. I’m not sure it’s a joke anymore. Stuff goes missing right after you put it down on a table multiple times a day. And I’m not talking like you loose a pencil, it’s always an important item that you put down in the same place every time and/or triple checked and wrote down where it was. I’m blind as a bat without my glasses and in the last month I’ve lost 3 pairs. I put them in exactly the same spot before I go to sleep every night. I wake up and they’re gone. No amount of looking yields any clues.

Cords keep falling out of their power sockets and switches are turned on/off without our intervention. If my roommate hadn’t of come home when she did the other day, our house would have burned down because she came home to the bloody paper towels on the stove and the stove on! Whole house smelt like smoke for hours. Still does vaugely. Which sucks because fire is very much and very openly my biggest fear this time of year. (Aussie, it’s going into summer here.)

I used to do a bit of occult-ish stuff, and I’ve been meaning to get back into it, but I’ve been putting it off. I’ve always been taught mundane over magickal and didn’t want to feel like the only reason I was doing it again was because of a series of coincidences. But it’s ramped up so much over the last like month or so and it’s affecting my everyday life. At this point, if there’s not something magickal going on here I need to buy a bloody lottery ticket. Or I suppose, a reverse lottery ticket. Given how shit my luck is at the moment. No I don’t know what a reverse lottery ticket is I’m very frustrated and I can’t see because I lost my glasses this morning and I’m typing this holding my phone practically right against my face

I don’t know if it’s a spirit, or bad energy, or even just like a fae one of us pissed off or something. I don’t know. My roommate is very Christian and even she’s been tempted to get a priest in here or something. I’m obliged to agree, but would like to know what you guys think before we do anything.

p.s. It’s name is ashley. Or at least, thats what we call it. It was originally something else, but one day we walked outside to discover the name “Ashley” carved into the cement that wasn’t there the day before. (It looked like it had been done while it was wet, impossible considering that the cement had been set at least a decade before moving in. Roommates family home)

We asked around town if anyone knew of an “Ashley” that this could be referring to, but the only thing we were told was by Roommates parents who said “Oh, that was the name we were going to give [Roommates] younger sister, but we miscarried”

Long story short, I joked about whimsical witchcraft stuff, not crazy serious stuff, like wealth spells and beauty spells when I first met my boyfriend. He did not like it at all. That’s how I learned about the curse. His family is muslim, not sure if they practice or not, that I do not know. But anyways, he told me a story about how his mother and father got a divorce and his dad did not want his mother to be happy so he found a witch to put a hex on her, basically putting a curse on her to never be happy with any marriage other than their marriage. She’s encountered different relationships after and they never workout, she became super cruel to them, and spiteful, and it was not in her character. One day, my boyfriend mentioned while his mother was asleep she had an attack from a demon, the demon was having sex with her and because the demon liked her he kept doing it. So every other night she would scream in her sleep because of this demon. The demon would basically have intercourse with her every night. And she would tremor vigorously in her sleep. It was a scary experience for my boyfriend.

Recently (today, actually) I had a very vivid dream of being in a house that was demonic, this house I’ve never been to before, it was deep into a city with no street lights just dirt roads. And I ended up talking to the demon and somehow some way it coerced me into having sex with it, at first it took a form of a normal person, but then it morphed into an actually red demon, and we had intercourse for a while. It terrified me when I woke up because I never EVER had a dream like this. It was such a weird experience .. am I being cursed ?

Hey, so I’m not sure what did I just witness but after searching up shadow people on Google it kinda fits my story.. (sorry for my English in advance Im from Europe and English isnt my first language)

so I went for a walk tonight at like 11pm and when I was walking down an empty road that had street lights next to it I saw something really weird..

There was a part of the road that was completely dark because there was a tree and I saw 2 people or whatever sitting down in the darkness in middle of the road staring at each other from really close distance and also in complete silence so I told myself that it isnt safe to go around them because it felt really creepy + I didnt have anything for self defense if I needed to fight for myself…

I ran back really fast but guess what? I wanted to know whether they or whatever it could be was still there and so I returned to the place and it was still there but this time they werent sitting but standing.. really close and staring down each other and it looked as if they had arms behind back? Same spot just 30 minutes later.. and so there was a square electrical boxes like 20 meters away from their spot and I hid behind it and wanted to record it..
But when i was getting my phone from a pocket I noticed them moving from their spot towards me and so I ran really and i mean really fast to some crowded place (which I couldnt find because no one was outside) and then after running for lets say 2-3 minutes I think I lost them?? There was no one behind me and I went straight home.

I have no idea what have I just witnessed and is anybody has ever experienced something like this let me know..

PS: All I saw was 2 completely black figures and I didnt even see their faces… just black figures around the same height..

I always had strange encounters at my dad's house. It was a very active place with activity. As a teenager, I remember I saw my dad walk through the living room, into the kitchen, and then in the laundry room. I was walking behind him trying to get his attention, but he wasn't answering me. As soon as I turned the corner to the laundry room, he wasn't there. The laundry room was empty. I was very confused and walked toward his bedroom. He was sitting on his bed watching TV. I felt super creeped out by this because I sometimes saw random looking people in the house too, but they would also disappear. I used to hear sobbing in the house as well. Usually it was kind of quiet, but on one particular night, I laid on the bed with my sister reading the Bible out loud. The sobbing was really really loud. I was so confused because my sister wasn't reacting at all. I went out to the living room where the rest of my family were and still hearing the sobbing. No one was reacting, and I asked if anyone has been crying, and everyone said no. I told my dad that I have been hearing it, and he told me to keep reading it out loud and to walk around the house while I do it. It did stop after I did this. I went to every room and closet with this. I just wanted to share this creepiness with a community. I've been dying to tell my stories lol

Just to clarify I have always heard about creepy stuff happening at my job here like people hearing people walking around and hearing people seeing stuff move etc but never experience anything myself besides hearing people and some times hearing people walking around but we brought a ouija board here yesterday and tried messing around with it for a bit but nothing worked then just left it overnight then today we tried the same thing and today we saw some movement on cameras then our whole white board which is glued onto the wall fell the the computer started doing a lot of stuff opening processes resetting etc all on its own let me know what your guys thoughts are on this I will attach the video.

This happened to me a few days ago, and I have not been able to stop thinking about it since - I’m really hoping someone can give me an explanation here, as I have never had even a shred of belief in ghosts/spirits up until now.

I am 20 and live with my family in the city in Australia. My parents work, my brother is in school, and I attend university only a handful of times per week. I spend 90% of the week at home, by myself, and it is extremely obvious for me to tell when family members are home (cars parked, noise, etc.)

I have autism, and am very picky about the utensils I use for eating. I’ve used the same bowl/plate for every meal since we moved in, and the same cup for every drink. The experience I have involves the aforementioned plate. ‘My’ plate is white, plastic, and has small black polka dots on it. I use it mostly for microwavable meals, and I always ensure to wash it, dry it, and put it back away after using it. No one else touches it, as they understand it is ‘mine’, and it is never moved.

All this detail is important to outline how meticulous I am with my routine, and how there is very little room for error or forgetfulness.

A few days ago, I unpackaged a microwavable burrito at around 1pm. As usual, I collected my plate, put the food in the microwave, hit the timer, and walked into a different room to grab myself a drink. My microwave is in a walk-in pantry, which is connected to my kitchen, but I do not have eyesight of it from said kitchen. I waited in the kitchen for the microwave to beep while scrolling social media. When getting a drink, I looked into the garage and took notice of the fact nobody was home. When the microwaved beeped, I opened it to find that the plate I had originally placed in the microwave had vanished. Not the whole burrito; just the plate. The burrito was now sitting on top of a new plate, which is blue and has a red lobster on it. The new plate is a little bit smaller than the old one, and I found that it was unnaturally cold despite having been in the microwave for a few minutes - the burrito was cooked properly and was not cold as well.

Where did the other plate go? It was nowhere to be seen in the microwave, around it, or anywhere else within the kitchen. I backtracked my steps thinking maybe I had misplaced it, but the plate showed no appearance. I had never seen the ‘new’ plate until that moment, and my family swears up and down that they have no recollection of seeing, let alone buying it.

To be honest, I have taken quite a liking to the new plate, so I am not as concerned as I feel I should be; I am very much stumped as to where the white polka-dotted plate has gone.

If entities create physical manifestations what is the relationship of human belief to those manifestations?

Where does the line shift between real and human belief? And also beliefs of a whole group?

Did we create them or are they co created or just objectively there? Do they depend on our belief?

Is it a spectrum in between those things?

I've started to write this, and deleted it like 5 times now, because I can't begin to explain without sounding crazy...So I'm just going to write about what I just saw. I'm sitting in the kitchen now, there's a window here away from my bedroom, so I can smoke without getting the smoke all over the small house I have. Was here, just smoking a cigarette, I have a clear view to my bedroom, and I just saw like this little bubble, size of a nail, just bright, I mean bright like a flashlight bright. But it was so small, and it didn't reflect it's light on anything, just like a small pocket of light, just floating. And it went into my bedroom. So my first reflex was to grab my cellphone and go into my bedroom to check it out. Mind that, I have no light in my bedroom now, because of a short circuit, old house, bla bla....so, I went there with my phone, looked all around for it, I didn't find anything. I'm writing this now here, because I'm 100% sure I saw it going into my room. So for clarification, I didn't drink today, I don't use drugs, I'm not on any medication, I just had a normal day, was smoking a cigarette, and getting ready to go to bed. Any mistakes on the text it's because english is my second language, and I just wrote as it came, because I'm kinda shaking...it was a ball of light, I saw it.

Okay, so, strange title. Here's the thing; My cousin, to whom I was close, passed away last year by unaliving himself. We're Indians and did all the rituals/puja correctly for his spirit's peace. I've been to the house several times since, and go to him room too, and never felt anything. He used to be a believer of the supernatural, and while I enjoy horror stories and movies, I'm not sure how strong my conviction is about the paranormal. Anyway, I never felt anything, neither did any family member of mine. Only my mother feels afraid to go to that floor and not because she feels anything but just because of general fear of the haunted.

The thing about my cousin is that he was someone who liked expensive things etc. and had bought an expensive phone among other things. He'd used it for about 10 months before the incident. Since then it's been unused and it has been more than a year. My own phone is in terrible state and my aunt (my cousin's mother) wants me to use his phone because it's getting wasted and she doesn't want a new phone and she'd like it if it gets used. My dad agrees too. They're practical people and feel that it's going to stop working if it stays unused. Now, my mother is reluctant for me to use it because she feels that, since my cousin bought it with a lot of enthusiasm, his spirit may have an attachment to such objects that were bought with a lot of want and me using it, might effect me negatively. Dad and aunt feel differently, and so do I, that my brother loved me and would never harm me. He only would have positive things for me and as I said, I've never felt anything negative in his room.

This got me thinking, if anyone had any experience where using the favourite things of someone who'd passed away brought on something negative?

I am a (18f) who has only two classes at a highschool and one class at a college so my schedule is pretty short which means I can come home late morning and have nothing to do the rest of the day. Usually, when I come home, either I do chores or go to sleep; well, recently, I decided to go to sleep more often when I get home and get up later in the afternoon.

Well, one day around , 10 I decided to go to sleep and turned off all the lights in the house and locked the door. My sisters room just so happens to be across from my room, like door facing door, and I always look inside there when I walk past and nothing seemed off.

Well, I wake up around 3 to the sound of my house front door shutting, and I see my sisters room light is on. (my front door is extremely heavy like even if you try to shut it quietly I can hear it in my room, plus we have life 360 so ik neither my parents or my sister came home) I texted my sister and she said maybe she forgot to turn it off but I specifically remember looking in her room and the lights were off, plus I go to check my front door and it was still locked.

Fast forward a couple weeks and I've been experiencing little things like things "falling in my room"(I heard the loudest thud one night like smth had fallen in my room and woke up the next morning but everything was in place), hearing things in the living room while I'm in the kitchen and stuff like that.

Well today I come home and decided to go to sleep as I do, I'm sleeping and I'm falling in and out and can't get good sleep then all of the sudden I hear the loudest three knocks on my bedroom door, like clear as day no mistaking it, I freeze and decided I'm not opening the door this time and tried to go back to sleep. when I got up later that afternoon, I made sure to check and see if the door was locked, and it was. One other thing that's been happening and I'm gonna see if I can link the story is me and this other girl at school have been hearing the same voice calling our names same tone and at different times and stuff, mainly when no one is around us.

I (18F) am on fall break for college. I am in Indiana, and live in one of the biggest cities. This will be relevant later on.

My dad (45M) likes to go fishing, and has a semi-popular social media page revolved around it. He’s been begging me to go with him, and I decided why not since I don’t have anything else to do.

His “fishing spot” was about 40-50 minutes away from our house, and we had to go through a weird gravel backroad in the middle of nowhere to get to this lake.

We got there around 2 am, which was pretty normal for him. We didn’t catch anything, but we had a really good time together.

We head home around 3:30-4am because it was a little chilly and neither of us had a hoodie or anything warm on.

When we’re driving, I have this urge to look out the drivers side window. It’s really weird now that I think about it, because I have really bad motion sickness and usually looking out windows that aren’t the windshield makes me sick.

I see something grey running at the road and immediately start yelling “DAD THERES A DEER”

He slams on his breaks, and we expect a deer to come running past.

The thing I saw was probably the size of a bear, but it was grey. I’ve never even heard of bears in this area, let alone any grey ones.

One thing my dad found weird was that it was moving in a directly straight line. Kind of like it was chasing something. It was also moving incredibly quick. Like, from the moment it crossed the tree line it was gone and we couldn’t see it.

My dad and I sat there for a few minutes trying to see what that was or if anything else was going to run by, but nothing did.

I asked my dad if he had a go pro or anything hooked up to his car, but he doesn’t. I wish there was a way for me to look back and pause on that thing.

I tried looking up bears in the area we were in, but there hasn’t even been a bear sighting here since the late 90s.

I also looked up bears species to see if there were any grey ones, but the only grey bears I found were in Alaska.

I’m not a huge believer in the paranormal, but some experiences at my dorm have made me curious, and I asked my friends who are very into the paranormal. They told me that they think it could possibly be a Skin Walker.

Any ideas as to what we saw in the woods would be appreciated!!

So a few years ago I had something strange happen to me. Out of the blue, every time I’d walk into the kitchen, the light would turn on without me flipping the switch. It was always the moment I stepped into the kitchen, never at any other time (like not if I was in the living room or upstairs, etc.). It got to the point that I’d dread going in there because I could predict that the light would turn on by itself. It had me totally freaked out and one day my husband texted me and said it happened to him too (it was only me up until that day). There wasn’t a smart bulb connected to an app and the kitchen lights are four recessed lights in the ceiling so not one singular bulb. There weren’t any electrical issues that could explain why it would only turn on whenever I stepped across the threshold into the kitchen and our house was brand new at the time, like maybe one or two years old. The only thing different about that light is that it’s on a touch sensor dimmer switch instead of a physical on/off switch.

One day I finally decided to sage the house and while I was doing so, my husband was cleaning the garage and accidentally dropped an ash tray that was his dad’s and it broke. This felt significant because his dad had just died a couple years prior and my husband literally never drops anything, ever. After I saged, the lights never turned on by themselves again. Anyone have any insight on this? I think about it every day and wonder what was up with that. Still freaks me out to think about.

For context, I take melatonin sometimes to fall asleep. But for the past few weeks whenever I take melatonin I get really bad nightmares. This is the reason I cannot tell if I actually experienced something or was it all a vivid dream.
This happened last night, was around 2:30-3 at night. I woke up feeling very heavy on my left arm as if someone was sleeping on it, and at one point I also felt like my arm fell asleep due to no blood flow (or something)
And I was trying to open my eyes but it was so hard to open my eyes or move my left arm but my right arm was moving easy. And I was trying to say something on the lines of “what do you want? Get off me” I could hear myself talk and trying to get out of the “weight” but I could not! Then I started chanting a Hindu verse and immediately felt like something got off of me and I was then able to move my left arm and also open my eyes.
At this point, I cannot tell if I experienced something or was it just a very bad nightmare.

Hii, I’m a 22F who loves lucid dreaming but has recently been experiencing frequent sleep paralysis. At first, it was terrifying. I couldn’t move or speak, and I saw a dark frightening figure.

I kept enduring it to reach lucid dreams, but one time it turned sexual with the demon and now the same figure appears almost every time I experience sleep paralysis. It feels incredibly real, and we do dirty stuff at first it was more like *grape* and I didnt like it..but now I’m lowkey starting to look forward to seeing it, cuz it feels good and real. I watch and read a lot of porn stories and novels and i do play with toys so im not sexually frustrated or anything etc.

I’ve read about jinn and incubi, and I’m confused and a little scared. Has anyone experienced something similar, and how can I stop it?
