Photo Evidence Took this photo in 2019. Am I crazy?

When I was in high school, I sent a friend of mine a snapchat around 3am and I seem to have captured a weird silhouette in the dark at the end of my bed. My friends say they can see something, but I feel like my brain is making things up... I experienced quite a bit of sleep paralysis at the time and often felt a dip at the end of my bed like somebody was sitting down in that same spot which makes me feel even crazier! I didn't have any pets to blame it on, my bedroom door was closed all night and there wasn't any furniture down there.

I know our brains make shit up but this looks like a mean big black dog head. I dont like it

u/Ok-Cricket-4039 Jun 11 '26

I thought it looked like a dog too, but didn't have any dogs at the time! My college roommate and a coworker (who don't even know each other) even pointed out to me that it looks like it has human teeth. I hate it

I think that's what makes this photo so unsettling to me. Around that time I experienced a lot of sleep paralysis where i'd wake up and see figures standing over my bed or crouched on top of my desk. There were also multiple times when I was completely awake and felt the end of my bed physically sink down as if somebody had sat on it, only to look and not see anyone. I constantly had this feeling of unease like there was some kind of presence in my bedroom that I couldn't see and this all went on for years until I moved out for college in 2023! Of course this doesn't mean that anything paranormal was going on, but a part of me as a hard time writing it off as a trick of the light because of it.

that's fair. although i've definitely noticed a difference after moving out, my college roommate has told me that *they* feel a presence and have apparently seen a figure stand outside of my bedroom door at night. I don't think I've seen it myself or felt anything that negative since then, but I wonder if it's still hanging around me or something else is.

My sister has thought nearly every place she has lived is haunted. I agree with her on our childhood home and there was another old house she lived in that was creepy af but I’ve only ever felt it one place. Maybe what your roommate is seeing us there for him and not you. That would explain him feeling it when you don’t.

u/IndependentMoney9700 Jun 12 '26 edited Jun 13 '26

I immediately dismiss a lot of things I see in this sub. Even this for some reason doesn’t look very three dimensional to me and almost like a pattern in fabric of some sort. But after reading your description, I have very very vivid memories from when I was little and we lived in a haunted house.

I know everyone seems to think that. My whole family had issues at this house we didn’t discuss until over twenty years after we moved. Except they knew my sister had visions and the Dr decided she was allergic to penicillin and having a reaction (?). Of all of the things I experienced, one of the most terrifying was the sensation of someone sitting on the end of my bed. The bed would be pushed down from the weight, the sheets and blanket would get tighter around my feet, and I was absolutely positive I’d look up and someone from my family would be sitting on the end of my bed. But no one was there and I was too afraid to even scream. I didn’t have night terrors. I didn’t have mental health issues, I never have. After the first few times, when it happened I was too scared to even look. All I could manage to do was cover my head and quietly whimper as I tried not to make any noise. So I can absolutely empathize with you on that sort of terror. Which makes the thing at the end of your bed much more uncomfortable to me.

If all that stuff was being seen by you, and the picture is a back up- then dont believe afraid to say the word paranormal. Because thats what it is, no matter who tells you you're wrong. Is this your parent's house?

And do you have an uncooked copy? I can see the entire wall is lined with them when it's farther away

8

u/JMMongo Jun 11 '26

Yeah! What is going on there? Is that wall paper?

8

u/ItsPambs Jun 12 '26

That feeling of your bed physically sinking down is so terrifying! Happened to me too

u/WillingQuestion9805 Jun 12 '26

Me too when I was a child…

I have C-PTSD and remember once being held down by a shadow person (visibly saw it and felt being held down), this was over ten years ago in an a house my family had since the 70s I believe. You could hear music from the 20s in the living room as well as stomping in boots/felt an evil presence constantly. The house I live in now was built in 1840 and let's just say I've had a lot of experiences here as well.

1

u/IndependentMoney9700 Jun 13 '26 edited Jun 13 '26

The House that I lived in I switched rooms with my sister after the bed thing kept happening, but in the other room the radio would come on by itself in the night. And I would see in the doorway a silhouette of a man with a hat that looked like he was surrounded by electricity. I have learned in my later years this is a popular thing to see in paranormal and UFO affiliated descriptions. I am pretty sure I even unplugged the radio one night and it came on. I cannot listen to music going to sleep to this day because of it.

We had cats that refused to come inside. They lived outside and in our garage and if you tried to bring them in they would fight and attack you. Our washer and dryer were in our garage and my dad found my aunts cat dead in the dryer. No one in my family would ever do that. Not even by accident.

My sisters “hallucinations” were apparently the worst in my parents bathroom. Out of all the rooms in that house, it is the only one I cannot remember. At all, no idea what it looked like.

It was the first house my parents bought and it was new and in a great area and we were good friends with our neighbors but we stayed for a very short period before moving. My dad has only admitted once he felt like there was something wrong in the house but his behavior indicated he felt it too. Our neighbors told us no one stayed there very long.

I had a sleepover once and all of the girls freaked out and started screaming in crying after hearing things in the other parts of the house (I don’t even remember what) but there was about eight six year old friends screaming in the middle of the night.

So many things happened in that house. I’m constantly looking to see if it’s for sale because I would love to go for an open house to see if it still feels that way. But the owner rents it out so it hasn’t been on the market in years.

To be fair, I think what you would call "teeth" I just see the nose of a dog. You know their weird split nose with the skinny bridge connecting the upper and lower parts of the nose. So I guess you can take comfort in that, that this dog that isn't supposed to be there just looks like a normal dog that isn't supposed to be there to this particular internet stranger lol

3

u/Acceptable_Plane_264 Jun 12 '26

I don't see a dog, I see a few beings all connected together. Even up at the top right. Sometimes you have to let your eyes follow the lines

My husband and and old friend of ours both experienced terrifying paranormal dog events. My friend died from an accidental overdose in December 2004. The last time I talked to him was on the phone a few weeks prior. He was having sleep paralysis several times, and a large dog came and hovered over him. He could hear the dogs nails clacking on the floor, feel it climb onto the bed, hear its collar jingling, hear it breathing close to his face, and smell and feel its hot breath. My husband’s experience was similar, but he would be asleep and dreaming

4

u/bizoticallyyours83 Jun 11 '26

Hmm. Perhaps a previous owner had a dog?

This sweet baby is not a demon dog. I love those ears! I picture them wagging their tail so hard their whole butt wiggles with their tail.

I thought this too! Might just be paradolia, but I also went "looks like a big black dog."

Without seeing what the exact same area looks like during daylight it's hard to tell if what you captured here is actually something that isn't supposed to be there or the way the camera was detecting light bouncing off objects in the room.

3

u/CinnamonSoy Jun 11 '26

I definitely see a black dog with ears that stand up. Is this the Black Shuck? lol

Here is the photo enhanced using filters. This thing looks scary as hell. It looks like a demon dog .

21

u/ironMoose112 Jun 12 '26

Am I the only one that doesn't get a bad feeling from this? I know some people say it looks like teeth but to me it almost just looks like a dogs nose at the end of a snout, maybe a bottom lip like a Doberman or chocolate lab would have.

To Me, it just looks like a Doberman, almost like it was trying to manifest to show itself, but it doesn't have to mean it's necessarily a negative entity.

An old farm house apartment I lived in Vermont used to be a vets office. For the 3 years we lived there my wife and I would always catch things out of the corner on our eyes or hear the clacking of dog nails on floor while our own dog slept next to us in bed. He'd also see things around the house and almost act like he was playing with something while watching the walls and other rooms, but nothing ever felt negative.

Animals definitely have the capability of leaving behind an energy in my opinion, and I think sometimes they are aware enough to try to communicate, it could very well be that force you felt was the spirit of a dog checking in on you, like a loyal companion would have done in life. You never know 🤷‍♂️

6

u/Alert_Bobcat_5585 Jun 12 '26

I actually change my answer from German shepherd to Doberman after i looked again... I am unwillingly a medium, and my immediate feeling is this is looking over and protecting them.. I dont feel evil

5

u/jkaybeeIV Jun 12 '26

I agree I don’t see teeth. It doesn’t look menacing per se / and it just looks like a dogs snoot

2

u/ironMoose112 Jun 15 '26

Right! I mean even what OP said about the dip at the end of the bed, to me, sounds like what a dog would do. Hop up and lay at the foot of their persons bed. Even if it wasn't a past family pet, it could just be the energy of a pup doing what it knows to do.

43

u/ManuBekerMusic Jun 11 '26

Definitely pareidolia. I wouldn't worry

13

u/Ok-Cricket-4039 Jun 11 '26

I could see that. I want to be open to the idea of it being paranormal somehow, but i'm still a skeptic and I think the human brain has some of it's own weird tendencies

3

u/Acceptable_Plane_264 Jun 12 '26

After all the crap that happened your gonna go with paredolia?

5

u/Ok-Cricket-4039 Jun 12 '26

I’ve always had a hard time fully wrapping my head around the paranormal 😅 i’m open to the idea of it because there is a lot we don’t know about the world, but as somebody who is also studying human health in college I know that the brain really does trip you up sometimes

1

u/ManuBekerMusic Jun 12 '26

"All that crap that happened" and it's just sleep paralysis. It's a commonly phenomenon for a reason. I believe in the paranormal but this blurry photo + sleep paralysis is not really enough for me to think it's anything else without supporting that thesis further

Nothing to worry… our brain has evolved/ adapt to seeing patterns

24

u/Ok-Cricket-4039 Jun 11 '26

It's crazy how our brains have the power to do things like that.

10

u/RevolutionaryLow2125 Jun 11 '26

Once i think it looks like a dog it does and the second i switch and think that it looks like a horse, it looks like a horse face too lol. 😂

9

u/TinyFood3489 Jun 11 '26

How can you say "nothing to worry" when we can all clearly see a dog/demon face? Are you nuts? It's clearly something . Clear as crystal . OP have a spirit attached to them

3

u/yogozoid82 Jun 11 '26

5

u/TinyFood3489 Jun 11 '26

What does it look like then ? OP's grandma? Come on man. & I never said he was in danger, but you can't assume he ain't neither. Aint no way yall seing what im seing and still think OP should chill

Perspective. I’m a believer and don’t think this is a scam, but honestly? - I see a donkey or a yak, not a dog and I don’t feel like I’m looking at anything ‘evil’. I get absolutely no feeling of fear or assumption there’s a spirit attachment from this photo. In fact, I get no feeling of spirit at all. My brain keeps trying to create a donkey.

1

u/oooweeeimjustalilguy Jun 12 '26

We can all clearly see a distortion in a night shot that looks like a face which is called pareidolia. Cameras often add articles to low light shots or op could easily have something there that we or they didn’t consider for causing it.

I’m 1000% a spiritual person and I 1000% think this is pareidolia

4

u/RevolutionaryLow2125 Jun 11 '26

Then this so-called spirit has a “buffalo face” though. 🐃

May I ask what you were originally taking a picture of did you see something and take a picture or was it just so random? It definitely looks dark in demonic it almost looks like it’s drooling from the mouth doesn’t it? Super fkn creepy! But what’s that on the right? it’s not a huge ear lol oh sh!t maybe it’s a winged creature!! I read what you said below about sleep paralysis and the stuff you were experiencing during that time and that would make sense to be seeing something Paranormal for sure and definitely on the dark side! Thanks for sharing this. Do some protections for yourself just for the simple fact that you brought this up again just to be safe which I’m sure you are💪🙏🏻

3

u/Ok-Cricket-4039 Jun 12 '26

It was just a random photo of my room that I took while sitting on my bed for those snapchat “streaks” lmao. I can’t get any new photos but this is a screenshot of the same spot from when I was moving out in 2023 😅 When I took the og photo in 2019, this spot was just a bare white wall and some curtains that separated my bedroom (which was in the basement) from the stairs that led to the upstairs hallway

3

u/Ok-Diver1509 Jun 12 '26

Hi OP. I was just wondering if anyone here or has anyone brought up the term “Dogman”. It’s pretty fascinating since I’ve been following people’s stories of it for years. Cuz from a certain podcast I listened to I remember Dogman and sleep paralysis go hand in hand.

2

u/Ok-Cricket-4039 Jun 12 '26

Lots of people have brought up that it looks like a dog, but not explicitly Dogman. Do you remember what podcast it was? i think it would be so fun to listen to!

1

u/Ok-Diver1509 Jun 12 '26

I also remember someone in here in the comments talking about a shadow dog figure or something, maybe it’s related 🤷🏽‍♂️

1

u/Ok-Diver1509 Jun 12 '26

However, whatever is in ur picture could very well be a trick to the eyes, but at the same time just know theres a lot that happens in this world that we cant understand

1

u/Diessel_S Jun 11 '26

Back when you sent it it didn't seem scary, because whatever was making that shape was in your room made sense to be there. Now you think its scary cuz you don't remember your jacket on the chair or whatever it was which at that time was so casual you didn't even register it

3

u/Ok-Cricket-4039 Jun 12 '26

No, I definitely thought it was scary when I first sent it. I noticed it practically immediately after I took the photo and panicked because the area, at the time, only consisted of a bare white wall and some curtains that separated my bedroom in the basement from the stairs.

3

u/Lost-Salamander5227 Jun 11 '26

What does this area look like with the lights on?

23

u/Lanky-Visit2846 Jun 11 '26

I've been visited by a large black dog shadow with yellow glowing eyes multiple times back in my old house when I was in high school. I had two bunk beds that were seperated in my room, and the dog would always appear at the foot of the other bed I wasn't sleeping in. It not only moved, but when I tried to turn my back to it and go back to sleep, it actually growled at me. Every time, I would turn on the light, and it would vanish. My best friend also saw it one time when he slept over and has always vouched for me during the telling of this story. The scariest time was when our golden retriever (who would NEVER sleep in my room) was leaving my bedroom and I was closing the door behind her. The black dog appeared and literally leapt over the bed as it chased after her, but I only saw it for a second as the door closed. Naturally, when I opened the door again immediately to look, it was gone. From what I've read, black dogs show up ij various cultures' mythology as a portent of death. Every time I saw the damn thing, someone in my family died within weeks. My great aunt. My grandpa. My dog eventually fell over dead for NO REASON right at my feet during Christmas break (years later, but still weird AF), and she was only 7-8 years old. I also read that eventually, the black dog will appear one last time as a portent of your own death. I haven't seen the thing in 25 years at this point, and I hope I never see it again.

4

u/Intelligent-Ant7585 Jun 11 '26

That sounds legit, and the photo is what I would expect of this situation if legit, capturing something like this in a compelling photograph is like trying to tie sewing thread into a double Windsor knot with oven mitts on. I believe it. Hard to say, but I read it as this: But again, who knows. That white dot, if not an object in the room, could be an eye of some kind? Maybe just a side view of a head in profile?

23

u/Chance_Fate66 Jun 11 '26

I see a dog. You not having a dog makes that unnerving.

1

u/SassyLuna82 Jun 14 '26

I looks like a black dog to me. I just can't place what kind of dagger, but it looks like it's either a black lab mixed with pit, or a shepherd. Either way it's a dog. Do ypu have family that may have had pets who passed away around that time that you know of? If so, it could be the ghost of their dog. I read an article a few months bag about a guy and his wife who investigate animal paranormal activity. Their cousin's dog and their daughter were very close and practically grew up together. Whenever she would visit them the dog would always sleep with her, and that the two were practically inseparable. At night she'd have night terrors and the dog would comfort her so she could sleep and was very protective over her. The investigator told the family they captured images of the dog and it looked just like their cousin's dog who was put down due to cancer. Whenever she had night terrors the dog's ghostvwould appear while she was sleeping to comfort her as if she was still alive. If you were close to a relatives dog growing up, it could be the same that's happening to you. Ive also done some research on sleep paralysis due the fact I've lived theough it myself off and on in my early 30s. Experts and neuro surgeons who have been studying the brain and connections to sleep paralysis say that it's not demonic related as most believe. It's actually pur mind playing tricks on us because when we're sleeping, our breathing becomes very shallow and slow. When we reach a a level of sleep mode between deep REM sleep and waking up, our bodies don't always have time to trigger that part of our brain for our body to react in times to regulate our breathing, so we then start getting the heavy chest feeling as if someone or something is sitting on our chest and leaving us gasping for air, unable to breathe and feeling paralyzed. It also tricks our brain into hallucinations. Unfortunately, the hallucinations cause us to demon like creatures hovering or sitting on us trying to suffocate/harm us. When I had mine I was dreaming of a poltergeist trying to kill me and my kids. In the dream when it wrapped a lamp cord around my next and the lifted me into the air attempting to kill me, my body was startled awake. Not was I trying to scream put for help in my sleep, I couldn't scream when I woke up, nor could I move. At the time I didn't even know what I was experiencing or why. All I knew was that I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move, and I couldn't speak, which then triggered my PTSD causibg me to have a severe anxiety attack when I saw what looked like a dark figure hovering over me trying to amother and choke me. Once I was able to finally move the scream I had been trying to force out finally released causing my kids and brother to wake up and come check on me. It wasnt until later that afternoon when a friend of mine told me what I had just experienced. After the 3rd one I experienced, I started researching sleep paralysis to learn more about it and why I was experiencing it, and then spoke to my psychiatrist about my experiences. That's when I learned what was actually happening.

u/bedatboi Jun 11 '26

2

u/Ok-Cricket-4039 Jun 12 '26

It’s hard to tell. I sort of see a dog shape but it’s not obvious, and it could really be anything. Sleep paralysis is garbage man, I have definitely had my own bouts with it, and it absolutely makes you feel like there’s a presence near you or touching you. Do you remember feeling or experiencing anything unusual that night?

I see a calico cat in meatloaf pose with a shadow cast on the pillows behind it.

4

u/Zealousideal-Tap1737 Jun 11 '26

It sort of looks like a hellhound…. but I always try to think of the logical explanations first, and put this one down to shadows in the dark and pareidolia. If it was taken with your phone, they’re not the best at clarity in the dark. My phone will make smooth backgrounds in the dark (to the eye) into blotchy, ill saturated patches on film ect.

u/top_value7293 Jun 11 '26

That’s terrifying

2

u/Dont-be-an-Asshat81 Jun 11 '26

This image makes my heart race and gives me terrible vibes! One of my real fears is dogmen and/ Hellhounds and I’m getting that feeling here 😱😰😱😳!! DUDE RUN!!! Iykyk😂

2

u/Measurement-Able Jun 12 '26

The spirit realm is very very real. You may actually have a being there. I know it’s something you may not want to hear. If you don’t like this, it’s time to call on Jesus.

u/charadhd44 7d ago

I don't know what it is but it makes me uncomfortable. Definitely caught something there OP, congrats (and also I wouldve burnt the house down if i saw something like that)

2

u/MrAnonimitys Jun 11 '26

I can make out a scary looking dog but idk maybe thats just the brain playing tricks. The circled in white stuff looks like teeth from an open mouth.

2

u/DimensionFar2052 Jun 11 '26

it’s probably that one word for our brains making us think we see faces but ifs something else. Maybe it’s your shadow or something. idk. It’s probably not a dog tho

2

u/Next-Deer-1205 Jun 12 '26

I have many similar photos, but few see what I do. It’s also not just what I see, it’s what I sense, and energies are felt strongly (almost a staticky feeling).

2

u/Least_Mousse9535 Jun 11 '26

When I was a teenager I had a German Shepherd and she was like my guardian angel. If I saw a dog like you have here, I’d just think she’s here protecting me.

One time, I told my abuela (RIP) that I felt something grab my ankle during the night and tug. Like just enough to wake up, but not get dragged at all. I told her since she saw me nodding off at church next to her. She told my parents to light blessed incense and bless the house again. Afterwards, she put a few drops of both chrisma and holy water on my head, did a small cross on my head and placed her hand on me while reciting prayers. I knocked out a couple minutes after and slept for a couple hours. It never happened again.

My family has continued the tradition (from my mom's side) to have the homes blessed once every year, either during New Year's or before Easter. We do a novena together while a family member is passing through the rooms, does a loop and uses the incense to do the sign of the cross on the windows, beds, and doors. After completing the circuit through the house, the incense is left to finish at the altar my abuela has set up in her home. That's done in the house we are praying in and then done at the other homes, but reciting the Apostle's Creed as many times needed to complete the circuit. Each home has their own altar. Ours has various Virgin of Guadalupe (some where inherited by my mom from her abuela), some saints, rosaries, crucifix, the Nativity, prayer books, and some sweets(switched every so often) plus the Holy Bibles. Some where gifted through the years and others bought, but every single item on the altars have been blessed. My sibling and I recently moved and brought a crucifix and rosary with us. Both items were a gift for the move and blessed. My sibling temporarily lost the crucifix and I found it stashed amongst their clothes. Our mom will be bringing with their next visit a Virgin of Guadalupe, could possibly be one that had been of one of our abuela's. We've been sleeping fine, but my sibling said they heard something in the restroom tap something .

u/lukymommaof3 Jun 11 '26

Crazy it looks like a doberman! That's scary, I honestly think it might be attached to you. I agree with another Redditor, I think it's a demon and shape shifts. I think it showed you a dog to not seem scary but that looks quite large and scary to me!maybe try some calming meditation, sage, and some.chamomile tea before bed to help get better thoughts. Tell it you can't stay and leech off my energy (that's what it's doing).

2

u/AniseClover Jun 12 '26

As a person who works with dogs, I see one good boy.

OP I’m sorry, you def have a demon dog on your hands.

2

u/Misspeggybee Jun 11 '26

This is nothing but a mere reflection of your camera light in a reflective surface. There is no iris or pupil
Present. Could be something as simple as an alarm clock or part of a chair which has metal on it.
Also, just my opinion as a professional photographer of nearly 20 years. I’ve seen everything. You’d be surprised how highly people mistake light refraction for ufos! Lol

3

u/Defiant_Tea_8722 Jun 11 '26

He’s a good boy of the night

2

u/Ghouly_Girl Jun 12 '26

You have … *the grim!*

Jk lol. That’s super spooky. I also see a dog.

3

u/veryverybadnotgood Jun 11 '26

i see nothing but noise

2

u/howleywolf Jun 11 '26

Reminds me of illustrations for the scary stories to tell in the dark books

1

u/HighlightExtra2392 Jun 14 '26

Those were real events. I believe you. You are heard seen and mattered. Advice only if welcomed.

Hire somebody qualified to "clear your space, of unwelcomed entities. You'll have to ask around a lot and get a reference from someone who has had their home cleared successfully.its a thing. I just heard on mayim bialik. Breakdown podcast she had her home cleared because something similar was happening to her son when he was little. She is legit scientist and well respected.

Good luck.

1

u/insideamindseye Jun 14 '26

I see it. Creepy. Okay don't call me crazy, but you should put a cat in your room at night, that'll stop sleep paralysis entities. I'm not sure how it works but there's tons of reports of them chasing off entities that attack you in your sleep, which has helped stop alot of people from having sleep paralysis episodes. And then they keep guard. Not saying it will or won't work, but you could try it.

2

u/SpillBloodEatBrains Jun 11 '26

tell lil bro move around before i have to get involved

2

u/TheGr4pe4pe Jun 11 '26

Like Pareidolia but damn that does look creepy af 🤣

2

u/furmama04 Jun 11 '26

To me, it just looks too vague to really anything.

3

u/Quirky_Character3656 Jun 11 '26

Looks like a black German shepherd

1

u/Princess_Zelda_Fitzg Jun 12 '26

I see Bob Marley 😂

Pareidolia is nuts, right? I see a friendly looking dude with big dreads, some people see a dog, some people see nothing. Cameras act funny in the dark and our brains love patterns. So as Mr. Marley said - don’t you worry about a thing, because every little thing is gonna be alright (sorry, couldn’t resist!).

2

u/justgotusernamed Jun 11 '26

Only because it's a demon dog, doesn't mean that you can't boop the snoot.

I will remember you all when I take a walk with my demon dog "Corpse grinder of Dis" (He's a chihuahua)

1

u/TadpoleGold964 Jun 15 '26

I'm sorry, but this is just silly. I don't discount the idea of "ghosts" or spirits, but all this demon business is ridiculous. Talk of red eyes and bumpy heads (someone posted something about their "experience" in one of the comments) is an overactive imagination. or a plain old nightmare.

2

u/MadSalty Jun 12 '26

Why not just kick it with your feet lol

1

u/silliesyl Jun 15 '26

Maybe one of your roommates had a dog over secretly or just not telling anyone? Could be a dog spirit too. Either way that's definitely a dog head but the nose is extremely big even for a dog and I do get a very negative feeling from this pic. I love dogs but no thank you!!!

1

u/Beautiful-Part-6165 Jun 12 '26

Your not crazy at all. Definitely a demonic presence and manifestation in your room there. People just dont understand what theyre looking at 99% of the time and they dont have the Holy Spirit in them so their eyes and senses dont comprehend. Nonetheless, strange capture.

1

u/saltyrawpotato Jun 12 '26

looks like a doberman to me. anyone had a doberman that passed away? my family sees a white fluffy cat in our house. i've seen, heard, and felt it. i THINK it's my cat, because it started after she passed away. BUT the issue is she was a short hair black cat lol.

2

u/Ok_Rest5867 Jun 12 '26

Looks like a Doberman guarding you.

1

u/Twisted_Hazel53 Jun 12 '26

None of us really know what the photo is showing. Because I’m a massive dog lover I see a black staffie I don’t see any threat My black staffie still visits me though she’s been ‘dead’ for many years. This brings me great comfort x

1

u/Professional_Try_608 Jun 11 '26

Sorry for the poor drawing but I don’t see a dog. I see (what it looks like when I first saw) a body of a black man ( bald ) laying on his stomach maybe on a chair or something. You can even make out a face.

2

u/Sad-Aside9995 Jun 11 '26

The ”teeth” are reflections from the dogs rhinarium (nose). It doesn’t look malevolent when you look it like that. Lower one looks like the tip of its tongue.

3

u/Badatusernames014 Jun 11 '26

I don't even see teeth at all.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/JerseyshoreSeagull Jun 12 '26

It kinda looks like Scooby-Doo.

1

u/kilos_of_doubt Jun 12 '26

I see multiple human faces connected to a dog/demon/lizard shadow head. Where everyone says is a snout, I see a face. The face of a man with a bit of a round nose, yet European, with black short hair, seemingly Caucasian.

1

u/jstwocool Jun 16 '26

i saw a human face staring blankly at you when i first looked, now i see the silhouette of a dog and i see a snout, it almost looke like a black german shepherd? shouldve turned the light on and seen what it was

1

u/superwholock72 Jun 14 '26

This picture causes me discomfort. I agree, it seems the shadows are making it seem there is something there. Even tho I do see a dog, I can see other things... I dont like it! I feel really uncomfortable...

2

u/Useful-Ganache-210 Jun 12 '26

Aw helllll noooo fuck that

1

u/forgetmyname007 Jun 13 '26

Honestly, I see a lot of silhouettes in this pic... I see a large figure with horse teeth smiling at you, but I also see silhouettes of multiple people in period clothing, both male and female.

1

u/Charbarzz Jun 12 '26

If there was another white dot where the left eye would be, I’d be shitting my pants. It’s very creepy as is, but I think it’s just our brains filling in an explanation. Gives me chills! It looked like a gothic style gargoyle to me at first.

0

u/Careless_Drink8098 Jun 11 '26

On dirait de la paréidolie, ne pas paniqué surtout c'est encore pire après psychologiquement tu vas en voir partout, quand je vois le nombre d'avis délirant en mode "Oui c'est un démon changeur de forme"... franchement les gars stop Netflix

2

u/Katekate78 Jun 11 '26

My first impression was a goat. I get the ears being more dog like. But the rest is goat to me.

1

u/Distinct_Show986 Jun 11 '26

Look like a big strange black dog to me but with human teeth and a ear bigger than the other...did you feel other weird things in your life the night before or after this photo ?

1

u/Mywillbedone1111 Jun 13 '26

I see two things. One is a big dog head. Like a Black German Shepherd. Below it, it looks about like a cat. Like a Maine Coon breed. Do you sleep with any pets in the room?

2

u/Potential_Medium2278 Jun 12 '26

Nah this isn’t cool.

1

u/Soft-Examination-263 Jun 17 '26

What makes this more unsettling for me personally, is the fact that one time i had sleep paralysis, the “entity” looked like a big black dog, similar to this…

1

u/Outrageous-Pea6408 Jun 12 '26

I think during the witch trials it was said Satan appeared to the witches he dealt with through the form of a black dog

My source? A Mr. Mythos video lol

Edit: btw I'm not saying you're a witch of course

1

u/OctoberGirl71 Jun 13 '26

Did you ever zoom in on the picture. Here’s what I see when I zoomed in. You’re right there’s definitely something there.

1

u/peacefull_gamer696 Jun 11 '26

Lol to me it is looking like a female demon with a horrible dark face showing her teeth by opening her big mouth.

2

u/Which_Flan3750 Jun 13 '26

Looks like baphomet

1

u/justathoughtIhave Jun 12 '26

The lighter bit just looks like a dog nose to me, not teeth. I’ve had dogs all my life, all different colors but 4 black dogs at different times.

1

u/KillerI_I Jun 11 '26

Bro if it's a dog or ghost dog then where is the other eye, so this doesn't make sense and pictures make things up when you shake your phone etc.

1

u/Purplekitty415 Jun 11 '26

It looks like an older big black dog with whitish hair around the muzzle.. BUT if you look differently it could be smiling tightly showing teeth

1

u/riajayne Jun 13 '26

That looks like a dog. Your brain isn't making something up. That's a black dog. It almost looks like it's... Idk... decomposing or something.

1

u/averageoldgoat Jun 12 '26

Going on a limb. Did you have a someone that died around that time that had unspoken words between you two. Like last words were an argument?

2

u/DarkBarbie1023 Jun 12 '26

This is terrifying

2

u/Grand-Mongoose-3732 Jun 12 '26

Ugly icky feeling

1

u/AskHoliday8327 Jun 14 '26

It's the hounds of hell the black dog of depression Winston Churchill would see this dog all during his dark moods it's a real thing

1

u/mr_crazymg Jun 14 '26

I used a software I have and that definitely is a figure. Notice how it's darker then the rest of the area
