Purchasing Advice - Upgrades CPU upgrade
I need recommendations to change my cpu. Iva had my pc for 4 years and the gpu is fine, but it’s bottlenecked by this old cpu. It’s a prebuilt, but I’d like to change the cpu and the motherboard with it of course. I don’t know if it’s an easy change. I use this pc for gaming a lot and also work. Any help on parts to buy or other suggestions? I live in Canada.
Low budget
Gpu: 3060
Cpu: i7 6700
Ram: 1 stick 16gb probably ddr3

I would move to am4, New CPU, RAM and Motherboard It would be around 400cads. youre kinda stuck on ddr3 with those parts and your choices on upgrades are reaally bad.
Edit: spelling
Get a B450 motherboard 32gb ram or stick with 16gb to save you cant use ddr3 unfortunately if your going to move to am4. Ryzen 5 5600 a great match for your 3060.
