Hopefully this is the right place to post this!
Me and my partner have gotten a bit stir-crazy not doing anything creative and want to pursue a goal we've had for a while of creating a small hoodie business in the local area with some bespoke designs and stuff. No AI, using good durable materials, all that good stuff.
We're new-ish to the area, and this is something we're very new at, but it's something we really want to pursue and wanted to see if anyone had any advice/would think it's something they might be interested in seeing?
We're aware of the local markets that run from time to time, for example, but wouldn't have a clue how to even approach something like that. Bit down the line regardless, think we'd start super small scale but is this something that exists in the local community already that we're just not aware of or something?
Does anyone have any suggestions/advice for us beyond "you'll have to work hard" which we're aware of, of course haha :)

Hi everyone,
If anyone has any experience with Fletton Quays, especially knowing it after the regeneration, I would really appreciate if you could fill out this form. It is for my Geography A-Level coursework.
It could be any sort of interaction e.g. live there, work there, walk through it.
Any help is greatly appreciated, all responses are anonymous and it will only take a couple of minutes š šÆ

Hi! I just moved from Vancouver about a month ago, I don't have a family here and I live alone. I'm hoping to make new friends here! I am a female and work from home on weekdays but basically free after 5pm and on weekends! :) I'd love to meet new people, especially girlies who are in a similar situation. Feel free to comment or leave a message.
Thank you so much <3

Hi everyone!
Iām 24F and will be moving from Derby to Peterborough this November.
Iāve been living in the UK for almost two years now, but unfortunately havenāt managed to make any close friends yet. Since Iāll have some free time after moving, I thought this might be a good opportunity to get out, meet new people and hopefully make some friends!
If anyone is in a similar situation or just fancies making a new friend, feel free to drop me a message! Would love to meet people around my age, grab a coffee, explore the city or just hang out.
Also, Iād really appreciate some advice about Fletton Quay. Is it a nice and safe area to live in? And does Ā£900 pcm for a one bedroom flat sound reasonable, or is that a bit on the expensive side for Peterborough?
Any advice or recommendations would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance! š

Hi!
This is more of an interest gathering post, but I was wondering if anyone would like to participate in a local PWHL fantasy league group?
(For those who don't know PWHL is the North American Professional Womenās Ice Hockey League).
The new season starts in December so there's time to decide if so.
(Or to start getting into the franchise for the first time, as there is now 4 new teams that have been established for this up and coming season too).
I would likely run it Snake Draft with FCFS Free Agents, but depending on the type / amount of people who want to join I am unsure if I should run it daily line-up or weekly line-up however I am up for discussion on the style if anyone has suggestions! :]

The free annual Peterborough STEM Festival takes place on Saturday October 17th from 11am-4pm at ARU Peterborough, to inspire children and teenagers aged 5-18 with interactive talks, exhibits, demonstrations and more covering all areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (there's a quiet time for SEND children from 9.30am until 11am which requires a pre-booked ticket).
We've got robotics, computer coding, science experiments, engineering, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, physics, biology, chemistry, sim racing and more. It's all organised and run by volunteers and the non-profit local Digital People in Peterborough CIC, which also hosts monthly meetups for over 18s working in tech (next event is November 5th at GPUTC)

Can anyone recommend a genuinely good hairdresser who can copy a hairstyle exactly as shown in a reference picture?
I swear, every time I go to a hairdresser with a picture of what I want, I end up walking out disappointed because they somehow mess my hair up instead of giving me the style I asked for. š
I understand that everyoneās hair is different, but I just want someone who knows what theyāre doing, pays attention to the reference, and is honest about what they can achieve rather than just doing their own thing.
I donāt want to risk another bad haircut, so please recommend someone youāve personally been to and genuinely trust.
Location: Peterborough
Please help a brother out because my hair has been through enough. š

Anyone know what happened to the old chap who used to make the donuts there? I would have thought if he had retired, they would have had a piece in the telegraph or on Facebook as he was there for donkey years.
Passed it yesterday and thereās loads of neon signs advertising pani puri and itās got a young lad in there.

Hello all,
Iād like to hear peopleās experiences of the maternity unit at Peterborough City Hospital, particularly from anyone whoās given birth there recently.
How did you find the care during labour and afterwards? Did you feel listened to, supported and kept informed? Were concerns or requests for pain relief taken seriously?
Iād especially appreciate hearing from women of colour about how they felt they were treated, and whether their background affected their experience in any way.
Positive, negative or mixed experiences are all welcome. If youāre comfortable sharing roughly when you were there, that would help too. Thanks!

Hi,
I moved here some months ago for a grad role but unfortunately there arenāt so many other graduates at my workplace.
Just wondering if there are any other people in a similar position that would be up for forming a group? Missing the social side of university a lot and think it would be nice to know more people in the city.

Mayors walk Waitrose now has ANPR. I know the whole idea is probably to discourage pick up and drop offs for the station? But can you still do that? Is there a parking charge and how much is it? Thank you

Pretty much what the title says, seems like everyone is job hunting these days, thought we could help each other out.
Idea is we interview each other in an unfamiliar environment, with unfamiliar people. Can do it full role play, grab a cup of tea/coffee somewhere central and pretend it's all real. Would probably involve a little bit of research when coming up with interview questions to ask; I have some prepared already that I haven't looked at.
