Hi! I'd love to find someone who's also trying to get their life together in their own little ways, whether that's working out more consistently, getting into sports, meal prepping, reading more, learning a new language, sharing career advice, or just generally working toward becoming a better version of themselves.
A little about me: I enjoy cooking and try to meal prep every week, although my commitment to a healthy lifestyle sometimes disappears the moment laziness hits. I'd love an accountability buddy who understands that we're all just trying to squeeze healthier habits into our adult schedules. I also love movies and TV shows (especially going to the cinema), reading, and amateurishly learning another language.
Ideally, I'd love to connect with someone around 25 or older who's a working adult or post-grad student (in the hopes that our frontal lobes have developed na).
If a few people are interested, maybe we can turn this into a small accountability group!
A few things I'd love for us to have:
- Mutual encouragement without judgment. We can celebrate little wins, have unproductive days, and help each other get back on track.
- Genuine interest in each other's goals and lives, beyond just checking whether we've worked out or finished a book.
- A comfortable space to share progress, exchange recommendations, yap about our interests, and occasionally remind each other to stop being lazy.
- No mean girl energy, unnecessary competition, passive-aggressiveness, or weird cliques. We're adults, and life is already hard enough.
No creeps, weirdos, or people hoping this turns into something romantic, please. I'm just looking for genuine adult friendships with people who want to see each other do well.
You don't have to be super fit, productive, or have your entire life figured out. I certainly don't! The point is to find someone who's also trying, even if we're starting from completely different places.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, send me an intro! Tell me a little about yourself, what you're currently interested in, what you'd like to work on, and why you're looking for an accountability buddy.
