I have a guitar (Fender Strat) that is pretty old and has sentimental value. Flying from LAX to Manila on PAL. I would like to hear how other people have done it. I heard you cannot take it with you as carry-on in the cabin. I really do not want to check it in. Thought of disassembling the neck from the body and wrap it well in my luggage (?)... I definitely do not want to buy an extra seat for it. Help.
I think may mga special baggage option sa mga airline? For instruments?

I need courage to talk to him. Gaya nung last Friday, I sat beside where he was seated kase lumipat ako nang pwesto. My heart was beating too fast kase katabi ko sya. Alam kong hindi ako makaka-concentrate so thankful ako na bumukas at gumana yung pc sa unang pinuwestuhan ko, so I decided to go back na lang to where I originally was and get back to work. Hay, bakit kase ang misteryoso mo eh, nakuha mo agad ang curiosity ko. Tahimik ka din gaya ko so I knew in an instant na may kakulitan syang tinatago e.
Why am I being drawn to quiet persons these days? Eh tahimik din naman akong tao. Pag nagsama kami baka awkward lang kami sa isa't isa. 😂

Malapit na ang death anniversary ng dad ko na namatay nung Covid. Part of me is looking at social media posts na nagsasabi ang sarap daw ng buhay nung covid and ang ganda ng response ng Duterte admin and wishing I had the energy na makipag-away.

I agree that Palestinians deserve freedom, regardless of their officials' foreign policy positions. But my point is about consistency. When Mayor Leni received an Israeli ambassador for a courtesy visit, people were quick to accuse her of supporting Israel's actions. Yet when a Palestinian political representative explicitly backed China's South China Sea claims, where was that same level of scrutiny? We can support Palestinian human rights without overlooking positions that undermine our own country's maritime rights. Being pro-Palestine shouldn't mean being any less pro-Philippines. Understanding why Palestinian officials seek China's support doesn't mean their position against Philippine maritime interests should escape criticism.
Pro-Palestine Filipinos are not a monolith, but based on what I think your view of what being pro-Palestine means, this is how I understand the issue: The criticism of local activists about Leni is because Leni is a representative of our own country, whose actions reflect the Filipino people's values and interests. I find that a lot of criticisms of Leni come from people who would still support her, they just felt misrepresented in this certain issue. The take of a pro-China Palestinian should be criticized, but the criticism of their position is not intensely consistent with the criticism of Leni because a) local activists think criticizing a Palestinian for their position on the WPS matter might take away from the attention that should be placed on the genocide, and in the Philippine context, b) people did not feel misrepresented.
Anyway, I don't think that what you shared is escaping criticism. I saw a couple of posts from well-known activist groups criticizing their position, I guess it just feels like they're escaping criticism because the criticism isn't as intense.

Grabe yung shift ng priorities ko ngayon. Parents are telling me to buy a car na lang for convenience sa duty pero kasi nagle-lean ako magtrabaho sa bundok o mag-abroad kaya ayoko. Taena. Ang hirap pag ikaw na mismo yung adult.
i mean... if magtatrabaho ka sa bundok, don't you need a car to travel to the city and back for that? i really think na need na ang car ngayon and not just a want.
The one time I gave a negative remark in my performance evaluation, saka naman nagdecide yung manager namin na magsend ng copies nung evals sa concerned personnel. Welp, that was a difficult conversation.

Nakaka-low morale makita mga e-mails ko noong college HAHAHAHAHAH parang nagmamakaawang maka-graduate 😭😭😭😭 pangit ng timing kasi bumababa na confidence ko para sa interview (na wala pang sched 😂😂). In hindsight, meron talaga yung mga mabait na prof and very patient sa akin, and grateful talaga ako sa kanila. hahahahahaha baka hindi ko talaga kinaya kung lahat mga terror at apathetic.

Nagkaroon ng staff evaluation sa amin this week. Residents yung nag rate sa amin. May nagsabi ng "We have a bonding that stretched years ago" tapos may nalalaman pang "once my junior but now my ate".
So I assumed yun yung resident that I was close to since like around 2022 prior to her relapse. So I jokingly said ikaw ah may nalalaman ka pang junior ah. Sabi niya, wala daw siyang sinabing ganun but she said she gave good feedback naman.
Then it dawned upon me, si HS crush turned resident kaya yun? 😶🌫️ Genuine, soft, caring and understanding daw ako, kung sino man siya. Luuuuuuuuhhhhh?!
