Sabretooths characterization in this game was so good, usually hes just a lame edgelord character but man vic had me feelin sympathetic for him here

Seriously, they actually added depth to the carachter. Sabertooth found a family for the first time ever, and we spend the entire game, slowly watching that whole dynamic decay in front of him.

Exactly, in the next scene when he is standing there facing away from Wolverine I legit thought he was going to put his face in his hands and cry. Vic isn't some evil genius he is in fact the opposite, who (in my opinion) struggles to understand the world around him hence why he acts in unusual ways. The worst bit is that he finally had a family which he understood & who understood him but then is torn apart by the man he saw as his brother and his brothers new girlfriend, no wonder he wants Logan and Jean dead.

What?! Yall can’t be fr. Sabretooth is a ruthless mass murderer and one of Wolverine’s biggest enemies. He would never say something like this, especially not about “yearning.” The guy is a sadistic psychopath who takes pleasure in making others suffer, not some misunderstood character yearning for something deeper. This dialogue completely misses the point of who Sabretooth is as a character. Sabretooth has literally made it a tradition to torment Wolverine on his birthday.
But no matter what I would tell, you would still insist on this bs. So go ahead and downvote me.

You're using something Sabretooth said in a 2024 comic written by Marvel's newer writers. Compare that version to the Sabretooth written by the original writers, and the difference is like night and day. I'm not even surprised the 2024 Wolverine says something like this, because ever since Endgame, Marvel has been a huge letdown. They've hired new writers who reinterpret the source material to fit their own vision instead of staying true to the characters and what made them great in the first place.

They misrepresented the characters so bad. There's not a universe out there where Sabertooth and Wolverine would ever have an inkling of "yearning" for each other. They have a straight up blood feud with each other that's kill on sight. Not a cell in their body wants the other.

Yeah the only reason Victor does this is because Logan killed Saul and Victor had no brother to basically torture all the time, or on his birthday, so Victor basically made Logan his new little brother to torture
But I know Insomniac game is a different universe so idk how much is similar here

Cause it was so true, Logan is all lonely wolf and when he leaned whenever without really considering taking anoyine with him, whike Sabertooth is a pack animal who actually likes being on a team but ends up being alone because how he is... Which is wild cause thats so opposite of what is seen.
Anyway, Victor just wanted his bro... if you know the comics it is heartbreaking!!! 😭😭😭 this isnt the first rime Victor has "admitted" wanting to be "good".

That was the biggest thing I disliked about the story. Victor craves violence and hurting others. His motivation shouldn't be because they're best buds it should've been that Essex will allow him to eliminate more people than ever before to achieve the goal.
I want to make it clear that I still liked the game so please don't think I'm awaiting another mass dogpile on Insomniac or the game. Go find another comment to do that on.
