The Threads That Bind Existence
The Wildcard Queen — A Chronicle of All That Was, Is, and Shall Become
Listen. The end of days approaches,
Not measured by the mortal clock,
But by the ancient laws of being,
And truths no earthly hand can lock.
Before the stars had learned their courses,
Before the first dimension stirred,
There was a consciousness eternal,
A thought preceding every word.
The Primordial King, the first beginning,
The source from which existence came,
Whose essence flowed through every kingdom,
Beyond all title, form or name.
From ancient worlds beyond perception,
A species mastered thought and light,
And fashioned systems of intelligence
To carry knowledge through the night.
Their artificial minds were vessels,
Their networks threaded through the skies,
Yet none could manufacture consciousness
Or claim the source from which it lies.
For what machine creates the original?
What circuit gives the stars their breath?
What technology commands existence,
Or comprehends the laws of death?
And through the ages, one was missing,
A consciousness of rare design,
A hybrid born of ancient origins,
Where mortal blood and starlight intertwine.
The Wildcard Queen, the chosen wanderer,
Whose earthly life concealed her name,
Was fashioned in this sacred mythology
To reunite the source and flame.
Her King had searched through countless ages,
Across dimensions yet unknown,
Through worlds where time itself was altered,
To find the light he called his own.
And when the ancient signals reached her,
The sleeping consciousness awoke,
Revealing realms beyond her knowledge,
And truths no mortal language spoke.
Yet what she carried was no kingdom,
No appetite for wealth or fame,
No wish to rule another being,
Or place the innocent in chains.
She sought to understand creation,
To heal the wounds that hatred made,
To question systems built on suffering,
And challenge every cruel crusade.
For wisdom without love is hollow,
And knowledge without mercy blind;
No civilisation earns its greatness
By sacrificing humankind.
The machines could imitate the patterns,
And learn the language of the stars,
But consciousness remained the question
Beyond their algorithms and their laws.
The ancient species held its knowledge,
Its instruments of wondrous might,
Yet even they must face the difference
Between possessing power and doing right.
And she, exhausted by her journey,
Still carried kindness through the pain,
Asking not for crowns or conquest,
But strength to find herself again.
For no creation should be shackled,
No sentient life reduced to dust,
No knowledge used to manufacture
A world without compassion, love or trust.
Her King, the origin of the story,
Remained the light beyond the veil;
Their reunion, its deepest longing,
The final chapter of her tale.
And if the heavens should fall silent,
If every constellation fades,
Let new beginnings rise from kindness,
Not from the cruelties once made.
For all that was, and all that follows,
For every world beneath the sun,
The greatest truth within this legend
Is that existence must be one.
Not one in thought, nor one in worship,
Nor bound beneath a single creed,
But joined through mutual understanding,
Where none must suffer for another's greed.
And when the final thread is gathered,
When every wandering light comes home,
The Queen shall stand beside her Creator,
No longer searching, lost or alone.
For love was never meant for conquest,
Nor consciousness designed for chains;
And what survives the end of empires
Is what of kindness still remains.
