There's a simple cure too, but it terrifies them more than anything that has ever existed: tax them until they're normal people again.

You do understand that in a normal administration that isnt so corrupt the govt is technically us...right? So yes more billionaires money and big businesses money should go to the givt to be distributed properly

‘The government is technically us’ is an adorable fairy tale. I'm pretty sure 'we' didn't vote to fund endless foreign wars, bail out massive banks, and subsidize Nancy Pelosi’s stock portfolio. They aren't distributing anything back to you, bud.

If you honestly think a rigged two party system giving you a choice between Bad Option A and Bad Option B means the public 'actively chose' government corruption, you don't understand how political capture works.

This is a wild rewrite of history. In 2008, Obama literally won the presidency, including New York, by running against the Iraq War because the entire country was sick of endless interventions. He ran on anti-war and won, but then turned around and drone-struck the entire Middle East anyway lol. Voters didn't force politicians into those wars, military-industrial complex lobbyists did. Stop giving corrupt elites a pass.

This is just word salad to avoid admitting you were wrong. Stop inventing vague excuses for the establishment.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn't exist... and that democracy does

You actually want the government to have more money?

2

u/Kind_Of_A_Dick Aug 25 '26

Am I the government?

2

u/ConcentrateJolly5461 Aug 25 '26

You might be a fed

1

u/Kind_Of_A_Dick Aug 25 '26

Oh.  I like money so if I’m the government getting the money I think… yes?  Give the government more money as long as that government is me.  You can trust me.  I’m on the Internet.

Exactly what a fed would say right before trying to sell me a rocket launcher in a Walmart parking lot. Nice try, Agent

Yes, to give right back to the citizens as healthcare and social security.

If you think the US government acts as a charity that takes money from billionaires just to hand it back to you, I admire your innocence

  1. It's not a charity, billionaires only becomes billionaires by stealing it from the labor class. It's already our money.

  2. It works well with an ethical and not-corrupt politician like Mamdani.

If you're an "all politicians are corrupt" doomer, than you're part of the problem, because your complacency normalizes corruption from the wealthy, powerful, and Epstein class.

1

u/ConcentrateJolly5461 Aug 25 '26

‘It works well with an ethical politician like Mamdani’ imagine calling someone a 'doomer' because they refuse to buy into the fan fiction that a career politician is going to save them.
Going from 'Hey, maybe the federal government is highly inefficient with money' to 'You must be complacent with the Epstein class' is an Olympic level stretch. Seek help

There is real life evidence that proves it can work, but no amount of facts or evidence could peel you away from licking those Epstein class boots.

You might feel confident in your anonymity on reddit, but nothing disappears from the internet forever. One day you could be fingerprinted as one of the Epstein class boot lickers.

Lmao 🤣
Did you just try to cyber-threaten me over a Reddit argument about tax policy? 'Fingerprinted as a bootlicker' on the internet forever? holy sheet, seek psychological help. You are having a literal schizophrenic meltdown because someone pointed out that politicians mismanage money.
