Wales would be broke over night if they went independent. Would be a hilariously terrible move if they went that way lol

No clue why you got downvoted, all three of them would have a lot of money issues. .

They all take out more than that put in from the Union so that shortfall would need to be covered

North Ireland to be fair could just leave and join the Republic of Ireland. The Good Friday agreement was literally made because a seperate north Ireland was never expected to be permanent.

Their polls would say otherwise as long as the commonwealth isn’t involved the republic is generally for reunification

Not a priority does not mean against. The north polls at like 20% for reunification the republic generally around 60-65%.

Both need a majority to happen, would be a giant waste to prioritise reunification campaigns in Northern Ireland at this point.

This is wrong.

All polling in Ireland has a massive lead in favour of reunification, in fact the majority of polls have reunification more than twice as popular as continuing partition

Every political leader in Ireland will say they are in favour of reunification if asked. You are right that lots of them are liars though.

Fortunately they have the exact same say as the average citizen. When a border poll is called the south will also have a referendum on reunification which looks overwhelmingly likely to pass.
