The carriers were built and are maintained at Rosyth. The frigates are built in Glasgow (as were the destroyers). The submarines are based in Scotland. A vast part of the spending for these things is in Scotland.

And yes, there are infrastructure projects that pertain solely to England, just as there are infrastructure projects that pertain solely to Scotland. There is nothing wrong with that - remember that there is no English government which might otherwise implement those projects, so it has to fall to Westminster.

And who paid for the infrastructure projects in Scotland I wonder?

Scottish taxpayers of course.

And English, Welsh and Northern Irish ones.

You don't think more is taken in taxes from Scotland than is spent on infrastructure in Scotland?

The opposite; more public money goes to Scottish infrastructure and services than it generates in revenue (which, to be clear, is perfectly fine by me).

Unfortunately no, Holyrood spends on average about £1500 more per person per year than they raise in taxes. This amounts to a deficit of about 12%.

And that doesnt include any infrastructure or projects undertaken in scotland that arent run through Holyrood - the actual number would be a little higher.

Holy fuck you’re delusional, Scotland as an independent country would have one of the highest budget deficits as a percentage of gdp in the western world, you are massively subsidised by England and Scottish tax revenue doesn’t come close to covering the amount of money spent on Scotland.
