Texas is and has been a shithole for a long time. It’s what happens when unfettered government corruption is allowed, a monument to our sins. Toll roads, high property taxes, high obesity rates, high utility rates, propaganda about how great Texas is. I’m from Dallas and left years ago. The ONLY things I miss are the Mavericks, BBQ and big booty Latina qtpies.
Ha, some friends of mine here in California took a trip out that way. The couple days in Oklahoma they were sending pictures and saying how nice it was. They crossed the border into Texas and the texts turned into "omg it's a shit hole here!"
I don't know what parts they drove through though, I thought Austin was nice, and some how the two days I was in Houston were the two days a year that the weather was pleasant (not hot, not humid).
