Their ability to speak directly to EXACTLY what should happen is stunning.

It's as if they recognize they DESERVE IT.

238

u/idreamofgreenie 5d ago

That's because there is a pattern of criminality in GOP administrations that is 70 years long.

Members of the Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush, and W. Bush administrations that have been convicted, 113.

Members of the Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, and Obama administrations that have been convicted, 3.

Members of those GOP presidents who were sentenced prison, 39.

Members of those Dem presidents who were sentenced to prison, 1.

Factoring in Trump's first term, that's 98% of the convictions and 98% of the prison sentences for GOP administration officials in modern presidential history.

u/BeeWriggler 5d ago

Wullyeah, if you're gonna cherry-pick facts to suit your narrative, of course you're gonna end up with that conclusion.

Now, let me tell you about what the Bible says about our dear leader, and how he alone can deliver us from the apocalypse.

/s

37

u/Legitimate-Fee7609 5d ago

Technically, this type of Christian would prefer to be delivered TO the Apocalypse

17

u/Competitive-Role7012 5d ago

Technically also Trump isn't a practicing real Christian and of course scripture doesn't say anything about America leaders since America wasn't around in Bible timelines

11

u/ItchyRedBump 5d ago

Technically he could be the antichrist.

Ah but you can use 'facts' to prove anything! Homer J Simpson.

4

u/Key-Personality8169 5d ago

They want the apocalypse delivered, they do not seek deliverance from it

5

u/Busy-Blueberry6415 5d ago

Cherry picking facts is all they can do 🤷‍♀️ if it's all laid out straight the corruption is too easy to spot

That’s a lot of words for “we’re going to prison.”

17

u/Sipikay 5d ago

It's the party that enables criminals and at this point is made up entirely of them. You get what you cultivate. When you can't win on policy and ideas and have to cheat to win, you create a party of cheaters.

u/_BeardedYeti 5d ago

They're just trying to prepare their sheep to be upset when there's repercussions for their actions.

23

u/brunchfruit 5d ago

I feel like this is what the Jared Kushner Hakeem Jeffries meeting was about....

9

u/NoxTempus 5d ago

Yep.

"They are going to do a politics on us, by locking us up for fake crimes!!11!"

Then when they start getting locked up, it must mean it's for fake crimes.

49

u/KronoFury 5d ago

They know how corrupt they are.

23

u/BeatTheDeadMal 5d ago

They're not even hiding that the only thing they really care about is themselves. It's so hilariously arrogant (tragically correct) that they think "help we're gonna be punished for what we did and we'll become POOR" is going to get them votes from Republican voters.

13

u/geGamedev 5d ago

Sadly it will get them votes. Rational thought isn't part of this.

My dad actually asked me: "Do you really not think Trump is trying to make America better?" It's like his brain can't understand how often Trump lies about things that make him "sound good" to them and is actually honest when he's insulting his own base.

8

u/MadScienzz 5d ago

Im sorry to say it, but your dad is the perfect example of indoctrination. Like most MAGAS there is a potential suicide bomber in each and every one. The only difference is their leader hasn't ordered it yet. I fear that could be the last desperate actions of a dying regime.

4

u/jolly0ctopus 5d ago

I shudder at the thought - Jan 6 is evidence of this same mentality

50

u/WildRabbitz 5d ago

Why do you think they're fighting with the ICC?

They're preparing their safety blanket if/when they finally get repercussions. They don't want to go to the Hague.

18

u/garbageemail222 5d ago

It's what they're afraid of, because it's a real court that they can't corrupt. Time to join the ICC and give them what they fear.

8

u/BenCisco 5d ago

We're not currently a party to the ICC. But yeah, I get it.

7

u/SpaceManSpiff1809 5d ago

If the ICC wants to even question any of them, they are going be very limited in where they can travel. No more sailing their yachts to the French Riviera.

22

u/SquirrelSuspicious 5d ago

No, their base is convinced they've done nothing wrong and that Dems just want to go after them to stop all the "good" they've done or some shit

31

u/Visual_Jellyfish5591 5d ago

Most of their base is currently offline. Thank you Zelenskyy!!

12

u/SquirrelSuspicious 5d ago

Oh shit you right

11

u/fun4someone 5d ago

I think they are trying to say the politicians themselves know they've done something wrong.

I don't go to the grocery store and publicly explain how I'm going to be arrested and tried for killing 4 of my neighbors. In fact, it doesn't even cross my mind because that never happened.

19

u/Creepy-Kale9927 5d ago

You really think the cowards would do anything? They're so spineless they'd take their win, secure their party's power, maybe make an example of some of the insignificant minions offered up by MAGA as sacrifice, then tell us "it's time for healing" and reconcile. Meanwhile the billionaires will switch allegiance because they don't actually care who's in power so long as their wallets grow, and the bulk of MAGA continues to fester like the Confederacy did after they lost but weren't eliminated. You can't vote our hate and discontent, and too many in the Democrat party are either too soft on traitors or too concerned with preserving their own status to seek justice.

8

u/jolly0ctopus 5d ago

Ugh I hate what you’re saying but I totally agree with your prediction

5

u/Creepy-Kale9927 5d ago

Sadly, my real prediction is that our elections are already so compromised they can't get voted out, or if they do, they bunker down and refuse to give up power. He's basically got a personal army, the cops and courts are in his pocket, they've gutted the military of top commanders who weren't loyal, and his minions have already shown they'll support a coup. If he decides his regime isn't leaving I don't know who's going to evict him. Like, literally, would anyone step up and physically remove these people from their offices should they say "fuck you, I'm staying"?

16

u/Strange_Explorer_780 5d ago

And he has the audacity to say out loud that this administration should be above the law and have zero accountability.

15

u/Psychological-Scar53 5d ago

The best part is, went are they worried about it if he is doing nothing wrong? They all know what he is doing had been fucked. They better hope it is just him and the cabinet and not them for stopping him.

16

u/td1ddy 5d ago

They are trying to frame it like it's a coup. It's a toxic rhetoric. When they know damn well they are complicit with the dismantling of America and should be removed.

3

u/goat_penis_souffle 5d ago

This is why their messaging is top tier. Prime mover is the one who gets that well-crafted message out in the public eye early and first, never to be dislodged by facts or new information.

8

u/rogun64 5d ago

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. They're projecting what should happen if Democrats take over, because they know they deserve it.

7

u/lougeoang 5d ago

Totally agree with you

6

u/Gosinyas 5d ago

Exactly. They are afraid of facing justice, they just can’t say that word out loud.

5

u/LibrarianEither8461 5d ago edited 5d ago

They're trying to poison the well. Been the playbook from the start.

Saying it like this means when it starts happening, they can appeal to their base about it. They want to say it first and say it louder so they can define, in the minds of their supporters, why it's happening.

It won't be dems breaking Republican's unconstitutional obfuscation and protections of illegitimate acts, it will be "the evil libs using power to obstruct republican truths, this is why we have to subjugate them more and give more power to republicans!".

4

u/orange-squeezer47 5d ago

And they expect maga to come rescue them. Which maga will obediently will do.

3

u/Ok-Wealth-7322 5d ago

They're trying to control the narrative to make it sound like any attempt to investigate the numerous crimes that Trump, his family, and his Administration have committed is partisan and politically motivated. You know, "Weaponizing the Justice Department".

Then the media, which they own, latches on to this argument and the narrative becomes not "these are the crimes they committed, now they're facing consequences" but instead "the Dems are trying to imprison their political opponents and silence free speech!"

They did it in 2021 as well, and it worked for them.

3

u/erik_wilder 5d ago

It's the old trick of saying the truth to sell the lie.

I believe our Constitution and the 3 separate Branches were all designed as checks on any one Branch exceeding its authority with the Supreme Court providing clarifications of the Constitution as needed to maintain the balance. What we have today is one big Carnival and a SCOTUS that’s nothing more than a rubber stamp for Trump and his Congress of Oath Breakers.

33

u/ProfRefugee 5d ago

The constitution expected representatives to actually care about their constituents, and not lock step vote for special interests on a national level.

6

u/MikeFrancesa66 5d ago

Which if you think about it leads back to the Supreme Court and the citizens united decision.

4

u/No_Parsley_2838 5d ago

Actually constitutional review was a power later claimed by the court. Im very serious its not written down anywhere or intended, they just started doing it.

um, it wasn't really the system. it was more right wing media being able to mindfuck so many people and then those people's votes were used to twist the arms of Republican politicians. "do what I tell you or I'll tell your people to fire you." Then proved it with people like Liz Cheney, Kinzinger, Sasse, etc. this was mostly because of stuff like Qanon, Russian propaganda spreading, and then formerly valid right wing media like Fox News having so much control over Republican voters. What started them down the path? Partially silo'ed by the internet. Grandpa and papa voted Republican so me too lead to them viewing Republican stuff which lead to that all they were being shown. Which turned into a drama feeding fest that they became addicted to. Then there was the "I'm going to save you from the rich people that have been screwing you over" part of Trump. It turned out to be all bullshit but now the voters feel stuck by their egos. They'd have to admit they were wrong and most of them can't do that until it's them that's caught under the wheels of Trump's "fuck you if you aren't a billionaire" outlook on humanity.

4

u/bluereddit2 5d ago

I disagree with one 4 year term for president, everything else is spot on. Except please add age limits to all of it! No running for anything for the first time past age 65. Mandatory retirement for all of them at 75.

4 years is not enough time for one president to make much of a difference. I do understand that two years of every 4 year term is taken up by campaigning. Maybe change it to one 6 year term. And there should be immediate removal of any politician including the president upon the first violation of the US Constitution.

4

u/jmd709 5d ago

1 term doesn’t make sense. It eliminates the incentive to try to keep voters happy. Look at the guy that is currently in office and the long list of false promises he made to get elected again.

Honestly, the best thing the Democrats could do if the take both houses is to flood the zone with legislation designed to help the people and reign in executive and judicial overreach. Speak for yourself. This Democrat had no idea that the guy that hung out with the likes of Roy Cohn was a bad idea. I didn't think that the guy who managed to bankrupt five casinos would possibly be bad at 'running the country like a business'. I thought the guy who purposely was caught cheating on his wife by bringing his mistress to a family vacation was probably a pretty great Christian. The guy that kicked the working class out of their homes so he could doze them turning out to not care about the working class? I was shocked. What could be wrong inside of a guy that bought a toilet made of gold? Yeah, I had no idea. There just weren't any clues.

I remember those Benghazi hearings they put Clinton through.

11 hours of insults and accusations. For what?

I remember the Jan 6th investigations. Those lead to convictions for real crimes. Trump pardoned the crimes.

There's a big difference between an investigation that leads to convictions and something done for political theater. There's a party of crime and it's about to lose power and face justice, again.

For the health of the nation, I just want to see them charged. Future leaders need to know that corruption WILL eventually bite them in the butt in this country.

Ooooh, I like that. No trials, no due process. That’s how they like it, right?

5

Detain them in undisclosed places and not tell their families or attorneys where they are.

Investigating very clear and specific crimes is the opposite of a witch hunt.

3

u/Just_Kitchen5256 5d ago

Clots. Clots and prayers

7

u/SixSixWithTrample 5d ago

You don’t need to keep selling me on it Tim. I was already not voting for your party.

34

u/nicloe85 5d ago

Pfft, no they won’t. THAT’S the problem.

12

u/BigAssMonkey 5d ago

And even if they were to go after them, did they ever stop to think why that would be? Why after all the years of Reagan and Bush and Bush….why would they go after Trump? It’s because he is the most corrupt President in the History of the USA, that’s why. It’s because of all the damage he has done within the US and with our allies, that’s why. It’s because he raped little girls, that’s why.

It’s a good scare tactic though. Their base always takes the bait.

3

u/Confron7a7ion7 5d ago

Right! How is it that I'm voting blue but the Republicans are the ones with the most faith in Democrats lol?

3

u/A_Nonny_Muse 5d ago

Hunt for which President??? We need a leader not a Russian asset

7

u/Halation2600 5d ago

Obviously they should. The guy is completely incompetent except when it comes to destroying our country for his own personal gain. He's basically Putin, or Gaddafi, or Kim Jong Un, or Baby Doc Duvalier. He's ransacking us. He's a crook and shouldn't be in any position of power - he should be behind bars.

8

u/pengalo827 5d ago

Huh. Well, here’s a thought. Maybe if there were no illegal, corrupt, and grifting actions done, or if the GOP did things that actually helped the citizenry, there would be no reason to indict or impeach anyone.

Does it really count as a witch hunt if the people being arrested are actually guilty of hundreds and hundreds of crimes?

You know I would guess if you weren’t committing heinous crimes and acts against Americans you would have nothing to worry about. But since you have not been held responsible up to now, here we are.

3

u/nancidruid 5d ago

I heard Hegseth wants to tie the Hasan guy to a stake for his big Execution Spectacular. He thinks a firing squad for a man who is paralyzed from the chest down won't be be as exciting for the live audiences.

Republicans admitting to their treason and high crimes as a campaign slogan.

6

u/Buddhas_Warrior 5d ago

If they didn't commit any crimes.. What are they worried about?

7

u/Strong-Movie-7359 5d ago

If they haven't done any illegal things then they have nothing to worry about

5

u/BeeDubsFan 5d ago

STOP COMMITTING CRIMES, ASSHOLES!

Trump and his entire maga government all belong in prison.

4

u/txcreative20 5d ago

Yes impeachment is just the start . Republicans should not have broken laws and should not have enabled people to do so .

6

u/44west061224 5d ago

The republicans deserve what’s coming to them in November. They have destroyed our great nation.

6

u/No_Effective1715 5d ago

They just keep advertising against themselves.

4

u/Lazy-Trust-4633 5d ago

I IMPLORE you to be the Democrat that Republicans think you are. Just imagine how great the nation would be.

5

u/vesselofwords 5d ago

Blatant admission of their crimes with a dog whistle to their cult to ignore any later mention of their crimes as illegitimate

9

u/notwhoyouthinkmaybe 5d ago

Remember when the Republicans wanted justice for everything? My have the times changed.

Pretty crazy that republicans are now threatening that Trump and his administrationwill be responsible for his own actions if democrats are elected.

5

u/Plopsevenplop 5d ago

Maybe these people should have considered this possibility before their avalanche of felonies out in the open with smiles on their faces.

4

u/craftsmaster1960 5d ago

Why? Did they do something to justify it?

3

u/PopBulky7023 5d ago

I wish democrats were half as ideologically dedicated to enforcing laws as republicans fearmonger they are.

4

u/Defiant_Protection29 5d ago

Sounds like a solid plan to me

3

u/Revolutionary-Dust61 5d ago

Don't threaten me with a good time!

6

u/Sufficient_Beach_445 5d ago

Justice is coming. Best reason to vote BLUE you can have.

6

u/Ok-Use-5927 5d ago

Please 🙏🏻 I hope they pay for all their crimes. At least our taxes won’t be going into the trump crime family.

5

u/tokenontokens 5d ago

Gosh is he flirting with us? Don’t be such a tease!

4

u/ChrisRiley_42 5d ago

So what, he's campaigning for the Democrats?

3

u/FrankMon420 5d ago

It’s what should be done but the democrats won’t deliver on it

3

u/oOBlueLillyOo 5d ago

If they did nothing wrong like they claim then why are they worried

4

u/New-Bear-3250 5d ago

As a voter, I don't just want this, I DEMAND IT!

3

u/Lordnoallah 5d ago

Well Tim wtf did you think was going to happen when your in a party of Nazis following a pedophile grifter?

5

u/Casingdacat 5d ago

I’m here for all of it! Yes! As it ought to be. And I’m not even a Democrat!

3

u/Some_Guy223 5d ago

God I wish the Democrats were even half as cool as Republicans make them out to be.

7

u/idobi 5d ago

I hadn't thought of that, sounds like a great idea!

7

u/JodieForestWhittaker 5d ago

We can only hope that democrats aren't total pussies when the time comes.

These Trump morons, GOP is so obviously only concerned about Trump. They have 0 concern for Trump voters. Why you would choose to lick boot here is beyond me

3

u/Correct_Day_7791 5d ago

Oh no the consequences of our illegal actions will finally catch up to us woe is Us

3

u/Few_Aside5151 5d ago

The only ones saying this are republicans

3

u/Freds_Bread 5d ago

You mean the exact same things the Trumpists have been doing? Only in the Trumpist cases (Kelly, Fauci, etc. etc.) It was 100% vendetta, while Trump, Hegseth have many real issues to answer for--startingbwith instigating an attack on Iran for no reason other than to make millions by manipulating the stock market.

3

u/Jflores2025 5d ago

If there are impeachable offenses or criminal offenses that, by law have its consequences, such as jail/prison time and such then so be it. Law is Law, shouldn't matter who you are.

3

u/Ok_Lettuce_7939 5d ago

Yeah Dems won't be dumbfucks about it like Schmitt confusing the Hawkeyes for the Hawks.

3

u/killer-tofu87 5d ago

It's almost like they know they're criminals

3

u/Nice-Neighborhood975 5d ago

"If the Democrats take power, we will be held accountable for our many crimes."

Pretty sure thats what he meant to say.

3

u/New-Rip-6965 5d ago

“You know, if you call the police, they’re just going to lock up all these criminals “
