How in the world can Darline make such an unfounded and stupid remark about who started the war?

Republican voters are just that dum

I hear that word has a ā€œbā€ in it now. Not many people know that.

Do you remember George Carlin basically saying half of Americans are stupider than average? Yeah, these voters are the half he was talking about.

He also said something about televised executions

Because the people she's trying to convince are even dumber.

Apparently the reasoning is that the Democrats forced Trump to start this war by repeatedly asking for the Epstein files to be released - so he had no other choice.Ā

Because they don’t give a damn about lying

Because there are no consequences.

Are you seriously asking how a Republican said something untruthful and unfounded?

I think the phenomenon is called, any given weekday.

There was actually pretty strong support for attacking Iran among leftwing groups for a while.

That isnt what hes talking about so actually nothing

No there wasn't. Some dudes on Reddit do not qualify as "strong support".

How many times did Donald tweet that Obama was going to invade Iran, and it never happened.

Strawman argument.

Didn't this conflict start when Carter was president?

u/Fuzzy-Eye-5425 4d ago

No, no. The current one that Trump started without calling it a war (so he didn’t ā€œneedā€ to go to congress for approval) that just recently significantly raised our gas prices and dramatically reduced our strategic oil reserves in America.

But the beef hasn't ended since then. This is just a prolongation of the same problem. Iran hasn't stopped hating America since.

Who cares if they hate America. 21 service members have died because in your mind ā€œhating Americaā€ is a good enough to send 21 Americans to die.

Or maybe it’s the Nuke they were building that we supposedly stopped months earlier with the strikes that wiped out their nuclear program.

People that hate you tend to be more likely to attack you. Not sure what the right answer for Iran is/was but the administration made a reasonable call. I always thought this was a powder keg that could go off at any time.

u/Intelligent_Bag_6705 4d ago

You honestly think that this was the right call?

Iran has hated us since the mid 1950s when WE overthrew their government to install the Shah.

How many times has Iran attacked us over the last 75 fucking years????? I’ll wait.

See this is the problem, you’re uneducated on your own position. Please do some reading outside of Reddit, Facebook, and twitter. You can have your own opinions that’s America and it’s awesome, but please please please do some info gathering before you sign on to the same propaganda bullshit.

So the proxie wars in the region are not real and the Houthis and Hamas get no help from Iran. Iran was just waiting to get nukes before it closed down the straight. US and Israel just attacked them before hand. This was going to happen eventually.

u/Intelligent_Bag_6705 4d ago

Proxy wars have been going on since the dawn of time in that region. Did you care at all about them over the last 75 years until now.

You are fully submerged in the propaganda and there is no helping you. Enjoy your 5 dollar gas and 8 dollar ground beef.

I am a vet so I can say it directly affected me. We have been living in luxury and it was time for a reality check in the US.

The Iran government didn't stop hating America... The Iranian people didn't start hating Americans until now.

Obama , along with many other involved countries, signed a deal to prevent Iran from getting Nukes with 24/7 any time anywhere inspections that Iran was fully complying with.

So what the heck are you talking about?

Btw Trump tore up that agreement simply because Obama did it. It's like we live in alternate realities.

Stalin signed a deal with Hitler and how did that go for Stalin? Deals mean little without trust.
