Some upperclassmen assholes in multivariable made fun of my diction when I went north to college as a freshman. I have never worked as hard in a math class as I did in that class just to fuck up the curve.
lol same, revenge is the best motivation. Studied continuously for two years because someone called me stupid when I was 16. Waved my results in his face two years later. One of the best days of my life
LIkewise, it was community college and I was studying web design back in 98-99, so the very early days. Took a test on html coding and they announced that not only did someone ace it, but they found an additional mistake the teacher hadn't even meant to put into the code we analyzed. I still can't believe I'm the only one that caught that #TG904Y (or whatever) wasn't a real color. Except in my case, the teacher announced that I was the reason there would be no curve. I found it very difficult to make friends in that class after that.
My proudest moment in my school life was scoring 104% on an exam I finished first out of 150 students; I scored the extra 4% for pointing out a mistake on the test but answering the question the way I thought it was intended to be asked. A misspelled variable in the return of the function or something, but I 'fixed' it and continued on.
That was my experience in a high school biology class. I eventually started to get a couple questions wrong so the rest of the class could get the curve

I had a similar experience but my grade was not tossed and everyone hated me.
