Here is an interesting legal argument that isn't necessarily barred. When it comes to RICO the government is not immune from being part of a racketeering enterprise nor are public servants and officials.
I do not see this going away and I do see good grounds to question the validity of any pardons with the intent they are done to protect people who partook in racketeering conduct.

Of course the worse ones are republicans. There the ones who came here illegally to make the USA great again.
Oh sorry, Iām wrong.
1
u/SkillFullyNotTrue 20h ago
The fact that we donāt treat them like a failed geriatric wannabe gang is beyond me. With republicans who needs adversaries they will slowly kill Americans.

Both parties have corruption, sure. But not remotely in equal amounts nor with equal results. Republicans control every single major lever of power on the U.S. and they have fire the last few years. Dems simply cannot be a corrupt without the ability to implement corruption to the same extent.

And now we see the real problem in America ⦠this type of stupid thinking.

MAGA is the problem in American because of a complete lack of thinking. FTFY.

Didn't he compile a database of Trump supporters on as little as them having bought a hat from his website or having donated even just a dollar? It sure sounds like political beliefs were involved

Be honest there's a lot of shitty Democrat criminals aswells
9
u/Fast_Adhesiveness528 23h ago
Of course. But we should be pursuing all the criminals, right? Not just the ones from a different party. Are you saying Smith shouldn't have pursued Trump (as was his mandate) until all the other party's criminals had been purged?
-6
u/smokinfentmac10 23h ago
No I am saying this post is an echo chamber trying to demonize the right . Yes trump should go to prison also a lot of politicians on the left
5
u/Fast_Adhesiveness528 23h ago
No argument from me, except that rn it's the criminals in power that are doing the worst damage. And the GOP controls all three branches of our government.

Yes.
Trump simply threatened election officials to āfindā enough votes for him to win.
And when that didnāt work, he very reasonably appointed fake electors and organized a mob to block the election results⦠typical stuff for all presidents but Trump was singled out because of his red hat. š

Former Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation (codenamed "Arctic Frost") obtained a separate spreadsheet and records containing personal information of approximately 639,000 Republican donors, voters, and supporters, which included individuals who bought "red MAGA hats" and other Trump campaign merchandise.

It seems true according to a whistleblower is to be believed and that is pretty fucked tbf even though they do support a fascist that's overreach.
Obviously the Republicans do worse daily for clarity.
Elon Musk stole far more personal data in his DOGE role according to a DOGE whistleblower he stole data on 500 MILLION dead and alive Americans for himself. Whilst mishandling it a releasing around 1000 citizen's personal data on an insecure server.
Jack Smith allegedly collected 639,000.

They're going after criminals and pedophiles.
The fact that it seems to be going after people who support Trump honestly speaks absolute volumes as to what kind of people support Trump.

Is this the guy that was responsible for carrying out the Russian hoax scandal?
6
u/beaker97_alf 23h ago
Are you asking about the Mueller Report that explicitly stated...
The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion. Evidence of Russian government operations began to surface in mid-2016...
https://www.justice.gov/archives/sco/file/1373816/dl?inline=
Are you also referring to the Mueller report that uncovered extensive evidence of numerous contacts and links between the Trump campaign and individuals tied to the Russian government?
Was there sufficient evidence to show the Trump campaign conspired with the Russian government? No.
Should you and EVERYONE be furious that the Trump campaign had multiple contacts with the Russian government and intelligence? FUCK YES.
And unless you were equally upset about the bullshit that Republicans did over a laptop that belonged to an ex-vice presidents son, your bringing it up is performative.
1
u/Aware_Rough_9170 22h ago
Done by⦠republicans primarily if memory serves. Back when there was even a barely firm noodle of a spine left in there

u/Sgt_Blutwurst 1d ago
So, what criminal activity allowed him to get the financial records of hundreds of people who did nothing but buy a red hat? Try again.
7
u/Technical_Fix_4835 1d ago
If you have a gang that is wearing let's say a MAGA hat as part of their uniform/common clothing when you storm the capital that is absolutely enough probably cause and specificity for a judge to grant and FBI Special Agent that warrant (i.e. a group of people wearing this paraphernalia, stormed the capital, and broke other laws. We need this list to identify them). Your sovereign citizen logic will not protect you or anyone from that.

Thanks, I've since read the NYpost article and I agree, that's overreach if the whistleblower is to be believed.
Hard to take anything the Republicans say as fact now unfortunately as they lie constantly and do worse shit than this all the time.
2
u/AnewTest 16h ago
Except it's the NY Post, which is a right wing rag.
1
u/seenitreddit90s 7h ago
I'm aware.
But I couldn't find anything to rebuke it so that's why I said "if the whilstleblower is to be believed".
-29
u/GebeTheArrow 1d ago
"All the worst criminals in America are Republican."
Do you think Jack Smith would agree with you on this?
If the answer is yes, then he is by definition partisan which contradticts your post. If he would not agree, then you are making claims which a veteran DOJ official disagrees with, thereby invalidating your posts's "truth".
22
u/No_Finance8647 1d ago
Its not partisan if most of the crime is being done by MAGA Republicans bud.
7
u/Technical_Fix_4835 1d ago
Well one does not need hyperboles here. You have conduct that maps to trafficking, witness tampering, wire fraud, mail fraud, obstruction of justice. You just need two of those for RICO and if this is a scheme that was continuous as it is appearing racketeering charges can reach back past the 10 year window that RICO normally stops at.
Like this is not going away and just needs a new administration to prosecute it.
-17
u/GebeTheArrow 1d ago
See, but that's not what he said. Read the quote ""All the worst criminals in America are Republican." He said ALL you said MOST.
Also, I'm not your bud, pal.

u/Subatomic_Spooder 1d ago
This is not a quote from Smith. You can tell because there's no quotation marks. You know, the little (") symbols that go around words that somebody else said.

The vast majority of them would fail the first round of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader"
-3
u/GebeTheArrow 1d ago
That's why I asked if the OP if he thought Jack Smith would agree with the words from the post. It wouldn't make sense if I asked OP if he thought Smith would agree with a Smith quote, since Smith would have been the one saying it. Like, if I asked you if you agreed with something you said. Nice try though!
4
u/seenitreddit90s 1d ago
Who gives a fuck of what OP's guess is of what Jack Smith thinks?
What a copey line of questioning.
