By that logic, is Seinfeld also âmore metalâ than Metallica, because he took a stance as well?
Or does the state of being âmetalâ only involve the âproperâ stance, according to Leftist orthodoxy?
You're right, plenty of leftists regimes have done or attempted genoicdes and leftists don't give a fuck about what is happening in Ukraine or in most of Africa unless they can blame "the west" for it.
Most of these chuds have never even heard of what has happened in Bucha and Kherson. The things that happened there would be too much for horror movies.
So is Burzum not metal? Is Miss Rachel more metal than Burzum?
I donât understand what TF these people are trying to say. And Iâm not sure they are, either.
burzum is metal, just some whiners want groups to sing something like `br br br, I hate {INSERT_POLITICAL_PARTY}, they eating kids and killing {INSERT_RACE_EITHER_ECONOMY_CLASS} if you support them then don't listen our music, br br br`
we're living in a crazy time, if you say just 1 controversial thing, even if previously people adored you, you will be perished by jobless horde
Fuck yeah Burzum is a stance LOL if these people actually knew what to direct their outrage at THAT would be one of them. Varg is literally part of an Eastern European Nazi org. THAT is a problem, not James Hetfield keeping political grandstanding out of his concerts.
Burzum and majority of Scandinavian Black Metal bands are a bunch of spoiled edge lord pusies who live in one of the safest and easiest to live countries in earth, so they had to find something to be tormented by and delved into cringe ideologies to justify their bitchy attitudes.Â
Literally one of the weakest men in metal are into that shit.Â
Itâs not considered âMetalâ to join the sheep in the herd bro. And who Seinfeld supports is the wrong side. Nothing to do with right or left. You kill innocent civilians, that is wrong. But hey, you sure got them here with your awesome gif bro daaamnâŠgo back to your trailer and listen to daddy preach white above all else.
Itâs not considered âmetalâ to join the sheep in the herd; gotcha.
But 41% of Americans sympathize with Palestine, as opposed to 36% who sympathize with Israel. (Not to speak of the 23% who are apathetic.)
I can almost guarantee that very, very few of the 41% have a solid grasp of the history, context, or circumstances surrounding the conflict- they only know what little the mainstream media presents to them, and they feel the social pressure to agree. Itâs also how the largest percentage of Americans think.
How is that not âsheepâ âjoining the herdâ?
Also- Hamas was democratically elected to lead Gaza. On October 7th, they killed innocent civilians. In your words âthat is wrongâ.
So what are you getting at?
And to be clear- I will happily condemn the genocide in Gaza. Even though I donât feel like I actually have enough information to fully comprehend the situation. (I have read up on it extensively, but there is such deep propaganda coming from both sides, itâs not clear to me whatâs real and whatâs not.)
That being said, I think that youâre not âmetalâ unless you are sheep going with the herd. At least if weâre using the definition presented above.
We all know the answer. Also Metallica needs exactly zero dollars, they tour for their fans and to keep a hundred people employed. Why would you want a group of guys who don't necessarily hold the same views as each other make a statement about something that would effect so many people.
It's unnecessary and will move the needle exactly zero. Enjoy the music, have fun at the concert and forget politics for an hour and a half.
