How are we comparing a whole group to one person? Lol. This is insane and why nobody takes you people seriously. So because some crazy shit happened in the 1930s we should never investigate any fraud by a minority or what? Only Democrats should be allowed to investigate? Please.

Woah now, this is Reddit, what’s with the common sense?

u/Bleak_Kiss 7h ago

Ironically, this investigation started under Democrats.

Insane. Why are we investigating Omar and not Trump, holy f balls.

Hi Minnesotan here, most of us on the ground are very FOR Omar having a close look taken at her and her family... who turns out likely assisted the former Somali regime in committing war atrocities. You don't know yet what you don't know.

The timing thing is a norm, dems have previously violated too, in Minnesota we'd rather just see her not representing our state and if she's elected then we get someone not appointed by a group who are looking more and more like be committed RICO level conspiracy for funding and jobs (politicians DFL and nonprofits plus u of mn policy and law schools and other areas schools complicit)

Democrats can investigate him when they get back. I do not understand what that has got to do with her being investigated? If you prevent her investigation then any investigation of Trump will look political (we are only allowed to investigate white people). Anyone who is suspected of a crime should be investigated. Omar will go before a jury and defend herself.Ā

Insane. No administration has actively pursued an investigation into a sitting political opponent for a reason. It's fascism.

u/uiucengineer 7h ago

What crime, specifically, is she suspected of committing? And why did they have to badger a judge for days to get a warrant?

1

u/Gunstopable 6h ago

Didn’t they already investigate him? There was a trial and everything lol.

2

u/Glass_Emu_5104 4h ago

For two crimes, now do the other 9999

1

u/Geedeepee91 7h ago

They already investigated trump and got 34 convictions raised to a felony over a stupid technicality

Crazy idea but… lets investigate both. Nobody should be exempt from the consequences of their wrongdoings.

2

u/Glass_Emu_5104 7h ago

The fact that you think Omar did something wrong means you believe anything Republicans say...no thanks.

1

u/Flash234669 7h ago

He didn't say she did anything, but there actually may be something to investigate since it started under Biden. His point was to investigate both. Do you have some exonerated proof that Ohmar did nothing? She could use your help if you do.

Don’t worry about it dude, the bad faith response to advocating for fair judicial process tells me all I need to know. Bro just wants to be correct or start an argument, not trying to have an actual dialogue

1

u/uiucengineer 7h ago

You’ve never been maliciously prosecuted and it shows.

1

u/StrangerIcy4981 7h ago

I’ve been to jail a few times buddy - that’s not a brag, but I have witness firsthand the flaws in our judicial process

1

u/uiucengineer 7h ago

You’ve never been maliciously prosecuted.

1

u/StrangerIcy4981 7h ago

You can keep repeating that if you want.

If she married her brother, absolutely. I’m a democrat but I’m not going to ignore substantiated allegations against liberal politicians out of blind faith for my party. That’s what MAGATs and idiots who can’t formulate their own perspectives do.

3

u/uiucengineer 7h ago

Please tell me about the substance behind the claim of marrying her brother

-1

u/StrangerIcy4981 6h ago

From what I understand, she might have married her brother. Lmao

3

u/jacobatz 6h ago

From what I understand you might have married your brother. Lmao.

See, pretty dumb take.

1

u/StrangerIcy4981 6h ago

The difference is only one of us is under federal investigation for allegedly marrying our brother.

1

u/uiucengineer 6h ago

Ok you used the word ā€œsubstantiatedā€ but I don’t think you know what it means

0

u/StrangerIcy4981 6h ago

Yea I’m not doing your homework for you, all I know is there is enough evidence for an investigation started under Biden. The DOJ is all sorts of fucked up right now, so I’m waiting for the results so that I can scrutinize and come to my own conclusion. That’s substantial.

1

u/uiucengineer 6h ago

I did do a google search before asking you that and found nothing. She was investigated by Biden and they didn’t find anything. Please explain how that by itself justifies another investigation whole new investigation. If this new investigation finds nothing, will that justify a third investigation?

Her office reported her net worth to be between $6,000,000 and $30,000,000.

Then they ā€œcorrectedā€ it to $100k.

I am worth more than a 100k. I walk dogs. She’s paid a lot more than me for her job, and she and her husband own a winery and a capital management firm.

How does that not scream fraud to you?

There’s a reason the Biden DOJ was also investigating her - and it isn’t because she’s part of the squad.

Whoever downvoted this hates when people point of anything wrong with anyone on the left.
I vote consistently blue. I will always vote for the left most candidate that is on the ballot on Election Day. We need to call out the flaws, and even the crimes, of anyone on the left if we want to be taken seriously. Otherwise, we’re just as bad as the right.

ā€œIf it’s bad when they do it, it’s bad when we do itā€

Have a spine people!!

• Ethics Watchdog Action: In September 2026, the Office of Congressional Conduct voted 5–1 to recommend dismissing the misconduct allegations regarding the filings, finding no substantial reason to believe she violated federal law.

This is from Fox News.

No one should be exempt from justice. But that means you can’t have a dude bending the department of justice to cover up his own wrong doing while targeting his perceived political opponents.

1

u/StrangerIcy4981 7h ago

100%. these issues are not even close to equal in magnitude. One is just a potential violation of immigration law and behavior unbecoming of an elected official, on the other hand is the deliberate denigration of our democratic process.

Obviously the latter needs to be dealt with, with far more urgency and severity than the former. However, in these dire circumstances it is even more important to hold the folks we vote for accountable so that we set the right standard.

1

u/BodegaCat11 6h ago

I don’t know if she did anything wrong. But I am HIGHLY skeptical of this justice department.

1

u/Top_Satisfaction896 7h ago

But ppl are hypocrites and that’s what keeps the political cog in motion. That and voting.

-2

u/Bond0070131 7h ago

You already investigated Trump and his whole family you did search warrants, charges, court, mugshots at 4am at his home. Don’t you remember nothing stuck! Now it’s our turn FuckNuts! You don’t like it when the shoe is on the other foot do you! Take a deep breath and just take it slow !

1

u/Glass_Emu_5104 7h ago

He's a convicted felon bro

0

u/Bond0070131 3h ago

No he’s not ! He was found civilly liable which is all about money. but never criminally convicted! Why, no evidence! Do some research dude you are uneducated! And spewing your uneducated nonsense on here without knowing anything about civil liabilities vs criminal convictions facts are important.

u/Glass_Emu_5104 3h ago

Disgusting defense of pedophiles

1
