Sunken Cost Fallacy. They're in too deep and will make up any excuse now. Deep down they probably know but admitting that they might be wrong will cause them to lose face.

This is the most American thing to say. It's sadly true. From what all my friends have told me, I just wonder how they tolerate this. The usual answer is, "Oh the family just ignores it."
Don't you think if they had a family this had happened to, they would've had those parents on every fox news and every other boot licking news station they possibly could? One set of parents saying this happened to them? Its made up. Just like the eating cats and dogs...
To expand on what another commenter already mentioned, schools canât even give kids Tylenol anymore. A lot of schools have even phased out bandages because of skin allergies. If you have a headache, stomachache, cut, or scrape, the office or school nurse can only give you a peppermint or a bag of ice. My kidsâ schools (weâve moved states over the years, so theyâve been to a few) have always had us sign papers stating that if our kids needed any sort of medication, we had to go up to the school to give it to them. They are absolutely not taking children in for surgery.
You didnât mention this, and you might already know but itâs part of what sparked all of this and is important to add. The âtheyâre turning the kids into cats/furriesâ frenzy, which eventually evolved into gender changes. The litter boxes (which not all schools have) are for violent emergencies. I canât specify which kind, because Iâm already getting flagged. If the kids have to be locked in their classrooms for hours because of an active situation, somebody is bound to have to use the bathroom. They need a temporary and sanitary way to handle that, which the litter box does. We donât even have to have our kids endure these crises to begin with, but our politicians call them ânecessary evilsâ. Suffering is the goal, because our politicians donât send their kids to public school.
we've actually been driving around conservative neighborhoods, and going door to door in many cases, looking for sexually secure young men to manipulate. No wait, that's the actual conservatives.
No joke, my mom has consistently supported Trump from the beginning. But i was talking to her recently and my sister and I mentioned the stuff with Canada and my mom was like "yeah that's crazy. What is his problem with Canada?"Â
And I mentioned Russia supporting him in 2016 and how this is the kind of stuff we would do if we had a puppet Russian president: ruin their alliances, trade, reputation, and positions of leadership in international bodies. And my mom was like, "yeah, i guess that does make sense"
