They have a variety of reasons they cling to. For some it's purely a matter of 'he said he would bring christianity back into the government'. For others its 'he will get rid of the evil trannies'. For yet others it is 'he said we would all get rich'. Etc and so on. They don't care if he is telling the truth, as long as he says what they want to hear. And that's a common thread throughout the entirety of the maga movement, because, in my opinion, that's how the religious industry conditioned them to function.
