100%. The current administration has divided us as Americans and impacted us on the world stage and will take years to recover. However, proud to be American and this country will prosper despite what we are going through.

And we DO love our country, but MAGA loyalist believe this flag is only for them and trump, not this country. It should not be a symbol of hate and bigotry, yet that is what y’all have done with it. It’s become a symbol of hate. I love to fly my flag proudly, one which I served, but now people see it and think immediately I’m some loyalist for trump and I am not. I am a patriot after all.

I love my country and have disdain for our government (mostly from when I served). I proudly fly it everyday. I could give two shits if you think I'm a supporter of the orange dude.

Are the people who claim this flag is only for their political party in the room with us?

Take a breath dude, you’re making things up.
Please go outside.

You sound like the kid that got his candy stolen and is crying about it. Why in the hell would you care about what someone whom you will never meet thinks of you for flying the flag? I’m sorry, that’s weird.

Take the candy back. Either fly the flag or just give it to them. Your choice.

I fly the flag proudly schmuckatelli, it just annoys me that MAGA loyalists have tarnished it. That’s all.

What percentage of people who fly or wear the American flag do you think are actually MAGA? I mean, what percentage of America is even actual MAGA? Do you see how that makes it a you problem?

If you love the USA you're ignorant or evil.

I cant. We could have the best government ever. I still don't like this country.

Why? Have you ever traveled or lived on another country? What experiences do you have that you'd be better off somewhere else?

I am a dual citizen with a country in Central Europe and the only reason I live in the USA is because I have enough respect for my debts (student loans) that I want to pay them but the only income that can afford that is in the USA. Once those are paid, I'm gone, because without those hanging over me the quality of life in my other country is immensely higher, not to mention the people are genuinely friendly and not just fake ass polite. I only have a few years left, but I keep thinking it might not even be worth it to stay because I expect the future of the USD will be dogshit and I'm not even sure I'll ever return to the USA even to visit based on the direction it's heading.

Well that really depends on where you are living in the US. Can't you make more in your home country and pay them or are the taxes to high? You came to the US for a better education? But yet your country is better??? Im confused

I was born in the USA and my family has been here for 400 years. It's not the USA anymore in anything but name. The average income in my other country is around €2,000 per month, which is about the cost of my student loans. Without student loans, that average income is more than enough to live a life far superior to what I have in the USA, and I would probably make a little more than that even.

Native American with dual citizenship in Mexico correct?

Is your reading comprehension that terrible? I already said Central Europe and last I checked they don't pay with euros in Mexico. European roots with EU citizenship.

Why should I like it? Why am i supposed to be proud of my country or respect it when we have a long ass history of being awful. Ive been to other countries, as well as other places in the US. Doesnt really change that the USA is a bad place with nothing going for it.

Every country has a long history of being awful. Nothing good comes easy. Humans are flawed. Bad things happen. Im guessing your under 30 and spend way to much time on social media

Be nice if something good did come from all the bad here, but it hasnt, and doesn't look like it will in the near future.
