Oh yeah itās almost as if being for policies that can hurt said people might cause them to judge you. Non-judgmental means for the most part your live and let live buuut that doesnāt mean you canāt have a backbone and hardlines over certain issues.
The San Francisco Gay Menās Chorus made headlines a few years back by performing with lyrics likeĀ
"We'll convert your children, we'll make them tolerant and fair"
Ā andĀ
"We're coming for your children"
I understand that youāll say they were kidding but these sort of ājokesā donāt help their case for being harmless. Ā Nor does their recent push for gender ambiguity and childrenās engagement through books, shows, and music.
Itās interesting that you cite those groups because they often are scandalized by committing closeted same-sex acts⦠you know, the same predatory and creepy acts that the non-closeted commit as well. Ā We just arenāt as surprised so itās less sensational. Ā Still gross. Ā Still dangerous.
When I see the rainbow flag, immediately know that everyone is around me is a thin sheet of ice. Ready to be mad or offended at the drop of a dime. And ready to tell me how to think about or view the world and if I dont⦠Then I am evil.
Itās almost as if being suppressed or even murdered for something harmless and outside their control makes people angry⦠and comments against those people will also anger them because itās the commenters doing those things to them! Crazy concept, I know.
