If by “bad faith” you mean the mental gymnastics you’re doing to absolve Democrats for being the Confederacy, then we finally agree on something

You never answered the question about which party's constituents are the ones currently flying the Confederate flag. Are you scared to answer that?

Are you also trying to say that the Confederates weren’t Democrats?

Why won't you answer the question?

It's almost like you are programmed to avoid answering.

Democrats owned slaves. Republicans fought to free the slaves. Neither Republicans nor Democrats own slaves in 2026. Flags are irrelevant

Why won't you answer the question?

Because it’s irrelevant. You want to make the parties flipped argument and I’m not entertaining it.

Thank you for showing your true colors as someone who doesn't know American history.

Huh? I just called you out on exactly what you wanted to do. Transparent lib guilt.

American history is Democrats owned slaves. Republicans freed the slaves. Nobody cares about your 2026 cope.

While it is true that Democrats ownd slaves and Lincoln, a Republican, issues the decree that emancipated them, the more accurate description would be that the Conservative party of the time owned slaves and that the progressive party freed them.

Now tell me, who is the conservative party of today in the US?

Unless you are one of those people that think a party name is the end all be all description of its politics. Because if you do, I'd love to see you describe the politics of the People's Republic of North Korea.
