Fucking bots are out in force lately. Reddit has always been trashy, but this is just ridiculous. Every comment has like 2-3 bot comments, canāt win on policy so right-wingers have to flood social media with bots. Ukraine please keep taking out data centers, maybe you can make a dent in the bot numbers.

Between him and the mayor of New York, I'm starting to think that Islam's doing a pretty good job at creating leaders
11
u/ComprehensiveHavoc 4h ago
They focus so much on their faith and their names because Mamdani is doing a great job and there is no real reason to not elect El-Sayed. Some people use racism to get people to pick the lesser option.
1
u/NotSure16 30m ago
There's a couple generations that lack the life experience or historical book knowledge to understand a good portion of the country lost their mind with fear electing a Catholic would doom the country's foreign policy to be subservient to the Pope and the Vadican (Kennedy). Those fears never materialized.
Those same type of individuals are convinced a politician with a non-christian faith will bring on the apocalypse. IMO a person's faith can HELP understand (not confirm) the morality and ethics they aspire to... that's it. It's a small, not terribly reliable, piece to evaluate the character of a candidate.

u/CriticismFree2900 3h ago

So if Trump's father was in the KKK, and Trump himself is in the Epstein files (ties to Epstein), following your logic, he's both a racist and a pedophile, correct?

⦠where are the radical statements?
1
u/NotSure16 17m ago
Either they have nothing and just searched and posted the first YouTube links they could find THINKING no one would check, OR they think it's radical for El-Sayed to give a speech encouraging minority groups to stand-up politically and have their voices heard opposing those individuals and forces looking to divide Americans superficially.

So, we shouldn't vote for any Americans with Russian or Polish ancestry because the Russian and Polish governments are even more oppressive than the U.S. government? We shouldn't vote for any Americans with Greek ancestry because Greece has had recent economic difficulties? And we're to assume that people, whose families left the Middle East to come to the U.S., love everything negative about the Middle East and want to manifest it the U.S.?

-8

You can be Muslim, but Muslims have no business representing America. Not a difficult concept
4
u/DTBlayde 4h ago
Traitors have no business representing America, and somehow the Confederacy is making a comeback. Think we should focus on those people first. Far more dangerous, hateful, and Anti-American
-1
u/fsu23232 4h ago
The confederacy were Democrats, Sport.
3
u/DTBlayde 4h ago
I didn't name a party, I named a group of traitors. But yes, those ultra conservative Dems were traitors. As is so often the case with conservatives on the wrong side of history
0
u/fsu23232 4h ago
lol what? The Confederates were Democrats. Republicans fought the Confederacy.
6
u/DTBlayde 3h ago
Yes, the conservative Democrats of the time. Just like Lincoln and the Rs were liberal. It's basic history.
For a bit easier or a question for your brain - which party currently flies the flag, claims it is "their heritage", and is forcing schools to teach about the Confederacy in a positive light.
Ill give you a hint, it's not the Dems. That should narrow it down for you enough where even you can figure it out

Yes, I donāt tolerate a religion whose core tenet is to kill Jews and destroy Western values.

No religion should be representing America tbh, freedom of religion is also freedom from religion. But Muslims are no different than Christians and no one on your side seems to care about Christians.

People who believe in the faith of Islam are not brainwashed. Everybody has a right to religion and the truth is, Islam is growing rapidly. My guesses are and based on the statistics, America is going to be at least 15% Muslim over the next 50 years. I welcome it, and I'm excited for the changes. And I'm Catholic by the way

-3

4

Uuh, the price of gas is up due to the conflict in the strait of Hormuz which occurred because terrorists cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons. They have shown that they will strike anywhere. Pretty simple
3
u/NotSure16 3h ago
Don't forget Trump enabled and encouraged Iran to enrich by ending JCPOA in his first term. Why? All because... Obama did it, waaa!
-1
u/fsu23232 2h ago
How brainwashed do you have to be to think the ayatollahs took billions and played along like good little boys?
2
u/NotSure16 5m ago
Don't have to think it. They have every incentive to comply and independent inspectors confirmed they did. No one GAVE them money, previously assets were seized and returned with interest. I personally wished that release had more restrictions and was a staggered release, but the money issued is still exponentially less than the money Trump proposed to give Iran in his most recent "offer" to end the war.
Mr. "Art if the deal" cancelled a deal that verifiably was working to spend trillions, plunge the US into economic-slump, AND end up giving Iran even more money than before. "How brainwashed do you have to be" to think that's a preferable outcome?
7
u/Secret_Eating_ 3h ago
But they also didn't have a nuclear weaponĀ nor are they working on one. Meanwhile trump fucked up so bad he's probably going to have to give them one as reparations.Ā
6
-3
2
u/Basil2322 3h ago
According to Trump and Hegseth that nuclear ability has been destroyed so why are we still there?
3
u/pan-re 3h ago
Ahhh, Trump and Republicans directly caused this whole thing yet somehow Sayed is to blame? Very interesting thought process you have.
-1
u/fsu23232 2h ago
Caused what whole thing? The S&P to jump 35% since Election Day? Youāre welcome.
3
u/yb_nyc 4h ago
But the US and Israel already have nuclear weapons. Why would Iran close the strait of Hormuz if those terrorizing countries already have nuclear weapons? I think the real reason is because the Orange lard butt was tricked into going to war by Israel.Ā
1
u/NotSure16 3h ago
Trump wasn't tricked I just think it's so easy to get kompremat on Donnie and use it. Israel has NSO's Pegasus software that weaponizes any phone... And we know Trump and other folks in the administration are dumb... with a b at the end.
1
u/Lonely_Difference558 54m ago
The idea is not to use nuclear weapons, and Iran has shown that they will go ahead and use any type of weapons in all types of cases. So if they had it, they will use it.
0
u/yb_nyc 13m ago
Iran didn't start the warband should use whatever weapons they can to defend themselves. Iran wasn't the ones using chemical weapons when the US Backed Iraq. iran is t targeting civilians and children. I think we need to get off of our high horses sometimes.Ā
0
u/Lonely_Difference558 6m ago
They have proven that they are a terrorist organization and have attacked American soldiers in the past. It has nothing to do with us being on our high horse and everything to do with living peacefully. They donāt want to do that.

Biden had the highest inflation in the past few administrations.
To be fair, the more our population increases, the more expensive land becomes, and the more they pay workers to produce food, the more food will cost because of both salaries and land needed to make food...

u/Careful-Awareness766 2h ago
When he goes to right-wing outlets for interviews, they always go for gotcha questions that either try to exploit his heritage (e.g., questions about the ISR-PAL conflict) or questions about dumb culture wars (e.g., transgender in sports). He tends a to dismiss the questions pointing out that the real challenge for Americans is not some dumb shit about furries in schools but high prices and the inability for normal people to access basic services.

11

10
9
u/kevendo 4h ago
Quick, explain why voting for an American Muslim is inherently wrong without being racist or bigoted.
Go!
-4
u/fsu23232 4h ago
The Muslim faith is incongruous with American values.
7
u/kevendo 4h ago
The freedom to hold whatever faith a person wants is the most basic American value there is.
Absolutely nothing is more fundamental, equal only with freedom of speech and the press.
It's literally the very first law we made together as a country. It's the reason many ofnou ancestors got on boats to come here ... Muslims included.
What is incongruous is the presumption that only one religion is the right religion, and the near-constant attempts to impose of that religion on everyone else.
-2
u/fsu23232 4h ago

Muslim faith is a spectrum right? We can be ok with modern religious belief. We are not ok with far right anything. The President doesnāt mind trying to make us all live under Christian rule. Pick a side: Nice religion vs extremism
