Between him and the mayor of New York, I'm starting to think that Islam's doing a pretty good job at creating leaders

u/ComprehensiveHavoc 5h ago

They focus so much on their faith and their names because Mamdani is doing a great job and there is no real reason to not elect El-Sayed. Some people use racism to get people to pick the lesser option.

There's a couple generations that lack the life experience or historical book knowledge to understand a good portion of the country lost their mind with fear electing a Catholic would doom the country's foreign policy to be subservient to the Pope and the Vadican (Kennedy). Those fears never materialized.

Those same type of individuals are convinced a politician with a non-christian faith will bring on the apocalypse. IMO a person's faith can HELP understand (not confirm) the morality and ethics they aspire to... that's it. It's a small, not terribly reliable, piece to evaluate the character of a candidate.

Whose they?Ā

He's deflecting by strawmanning and saying people don't like him cause of his name and not because of his past radical statements

8

u/pan-re 4h ago

Tell us his radical statements, please.

0

u/fsu23232 2h ago

He did. Not his problem you can’t navigate Reddit.

6

u/Mysterious-Mix-4619 4h ago

ā€˜They’ is literally Trump and MAGA. He made a whole post where he repeatedly calls him ā€˜Mohammed’ and says he’s ’A Muslim… a radical Muslim’ lmao. He ain’t strawmanning at all

0

u/fsu23232 2h ago

His family has literal ties to the Muslim Botherhood. His mother was a member in the 70s. His sister currently tweets support for them.

Feel free to join us out here in reality.

2

u/relmknight 2h ago

So if Trump's father was in the KKK, and Trump himself is in the Epstein files (ties to Epstein), following your logic, he's both a racist and a pedophile, correct?

2

u/IThinkItsAverage 4h ago

What are his past radical statements?

-1

u/CriticismFree2900 3h ago

2

u/IThinkItsAverage 3h ago

… where are the radical statements?

1

u/NotSure16 1h ago

Either they have nothing and just searched and posted the first YouTube links they could find THINKING no one would check, OR they think it's radical for El-Sayed to give a speech encouraging minority groups to stand-up politically and have their voices heard opposing those individuals and forces looking to divide Americans superficially.

Funny thing is many of these people still think Obama is a closet muslim on account of his middle name. Trump actually claimed that Obama is the founder of ISIS a couple of months ago..

1

u/Affectionate_One_969 1h ago

………………. The Middle East is a good reflection of this

2

u/Hot_History1582 5h ago

I guess the hit on the Russian datacenter didn't get this one

2

Swing and a miss, story of your life.

0

u/WobblierTube733 2h ago

lol are u gonna cry?

1

u/SoullessSyndicate 2h ago

He barely showed any emotion at all. You’re the one getting worked up.

0

u/WobblierTube733 1h ago

not a lot going on for you on a Saturday afternoon, huh pal?

-6

u/fsu23232 4h ago

Normal people that aren’t brainwashed like yourself are not ā€œbotsā€, Sport.

1

u/Protonverse 3h ago

This post will age like warm milk.

-2

u/fsu23232 2h ago

Republicans are taking the MI Senate seat, Sport. You live in an echo chamber.

0

u/CitizenHuman 5h ago

Not sure the religion has anything to do with it. More like these two people are ethical progressives with great underlying moral values.

-1

u/your_moms_favorite6 2h ago

Ya know i thought the same thing! I look at the middle east and go wow! I really want that in America. Lol you guys are all smokin crack

1

u/DullahanShotFirst 1h ago edited 1h ago

So, we shouldn't vote for any Americans with Russian or Polish ancestry because the Russian and Polish governments are even more oppressive than the U.S. government? We shouldn't vote for any Americans with Greek ancestry because Greece has had recent economic difficulties? And we're to assume that people, whose families left the Middle East to come to the U.S., love everything negative about the Middle East and want to manifest it the U.S.?

-20

u/fsu23232 5h ago

This is what brainwashed looks like

12

u/TDW2405 5h ago

So you don't believe in freedom of religion? Because that's one of the founding principles of the United States.

-9

u/fsu23232 5h ago

You can be Muslim, but Muslims have no business representing America. Not a difficult concept

7

u/DTBlayde 5h ago

Traitors have no business representing America, and somehow the Confederacy is making a comeback. Think we should focus on those people first. Far more dangerous, hateful, and Anti-American

-1

u/fsu23232 5h ago

The confederacy were Democrats, Sport.

3

u/DTBlayde 5h ago

I didn't name a party, I named a group of traitors. But yes, those ultra conservative Dems were traitors. As is so often the case with conservatives on the wrong side of history

0

u/fsu23232 4h ago

lol what? The Confederates were Democrats. Republicans fought the Confederacy.

3

u/DTBlayde 4h ago

Yes, the conservative Democrats of the time. Just like Lincoln and the Rs were liberal. It's basic history.

For a bit easier or a question for your brain - which party currently flies the flag, claims it is "their heritage", and is forcing schools to teach about the Confederacy in a positive light.

Ill give you a hint, it's not the Dems. That should narrow it down for you enough where even you can figure it out

0

u/fsu23232 4h ago

No such thing. Democrats being the only applicable word there.

1

u/pan-re 4h ago

Yes, they all vote Dem now, right?

1

u/fsu23232 4h ago

Are you asserting they weren’t?

2

u/TDW2405 5h ago

Well clearly they do because they've been elected. That's how democracies work. You should look into it sometime. You'll be shocked to learn that your personal biases don't get to dictate how the rest of us live our lives or choose our leaders.

2

u/dansssssss 5h ago

You can be stupid but you've got no business telling a city who's to represent them when they've elected a leader all because you don't tolerate a religion

-1

u/fsu23232 4h ago

Yes, I don’t tolerate a religion whose core tenet is to kill Jews and destroy Western values.

3

u/dansssssss 4h ago

Glad you can shamelessly spread misinformation but you're still not getting any closer to dismantling freedom of religion: a western value

0

u/fsu23232 4h ago

Not misinformation, Sport.

Nowhere did I say a person can’t be Muslim.

1

u/wasitonlyadream 2h ago

Paradox of intolerance

2

u/IThinkItsAverage 4h ago

No religion should be representing America tbh, freedom of religion is also freedom from religion. But Muslims are no different than Christians and no one on your side seems to care about Christians.

1

u/pan-re 4h ago

Why? Christians did a really shit job representing America. No religion is in charge of the country. That’s the fucking point y’all can’t grasp.

1

u/fsu23232 4h ago

Just turned it into the most successful empire in the history of mankind.

You retards live in your own made up reality.

2

u/WinterAir4769 5h ago

No, this is what an educated, objective electorate looks like. Try it sometime.

1

u/fsu23232 5h ago

He’s going to get crushed in MI

1

u/WinterAir4769 1h ago

lol. Let’s talk in a couple of weeks.

2

u/_Master_OfNone 5h ago

No, you're just ignorant.

0

u/fsu23232 5h ago

Another case in point

1

u/_Master_OfNone 3h ago

We know you are.

1

u/fsu23232 3h ago

lol ā€œI know you are but what am Iā€?! lol good one, Sport.

1

u/_Master_OfNone 3h ago

Not refuting it I see. You know what the good thing about your ignorance is?

4

u/justhebestguy 5h ago

People who believe in the faith of Islam are not brainwashed. Everybody has a right to religion and the truth is, Islam is growing rapidly. My guesses are and based on the statistics, America is going to be at least 15% Muslim over the next 50 years. I welcome it, and I'm excited for the changes. And I'm Catholic by the way

3

u/fsu23232 5h ago

lol case in point

-3

u/WillowOk2135 5h ago

You better hope they have a spot spot for tarns furry weirdos, but something tells me they're not as tolerant as you hope.

1

u/pan-re 4h ago

Republican Nat Cs accept furries and they as a political group are more dangerous

-1

u/PadamPadam2024 5h ago

We just don't need them flying our planes. We all remember September 11 and the recent near disaster with the Tel Aviv flight.

3

u/DTBlayde 5h ago

Do we remember? Because that was mainly Saudi Arabia and that was the one country excluded from that stupid Muslim travel ban.

-2

u/PadamPadam2024 5h ago

Do you feel safe catching planes with pilots from the Islamic faith?

3

u/DTBlayde 4h ago

Yes, I have absolutely zero preference for a religion or gender of any professional, as long as they're trained and certified. What a silly question

-1

u/PadamPadam2024 4h ago

Don't say l didn't warn you if you plane gets hijacked and crashes into a building.

3

u/DTBlayde 4h ago

By conservative estimations, there are likely at least 8000 Muslim pilots in the US alone. I must be missing all these hijackings and crashes. Or maybe you're just hateful and dumb......who knows

1

u/PadamPadam2024 4h ago

I would recommend Etihad or FlyDubai for your next plane journey. Safe travels!

1

u/pan-re 4h ago

The FAA being under funded and falling apart should be your concern if you are worried for America. Contact Sean Duffy and tell him he’s doing a shit job.

1

u/your_moms_favorite6 2h ago

Thats not the problem. We made the tsa and the failure rate is astronomical. More gov doesn't fix this
