I mean, I confront creeps so they aren't in my social circles. I stop going to places that tolerate and welcome creeps. So I'm left with a pretty low-creep social circle.
I knew plenty of scum bag guys growing up. I was barely acquaintances with them. I could smell their bs from a mile away. The irony.... The women in the area loved them. And if I implied any negative trait or suspicion in that guy....I WAS called a hater. So.... oh well đ¤ˇââď¸
Right? People act like each incident of harassment is done by a separate man. As if one man isn't harassing 100 women and the other 99 men are just existing.Â
Itâs hysterical really, that they still donât want to understand that they are also part of the problem. Wanna bet that they âtried to tellâ in the context of getting laid?
how many videos have you seen of men being beaten to the brink of death because they assaulted or harassed a woman in front of other men? you don't think these guys know what will happen to them if they don't do this shit in secret?
Ive been on the internet since it started and a man since birth and ive literally never seen that. Ive watched men ignore their friends assaulting girlfriends. Ive heard firsthand how dudes speak when they're in a group of "bro's". Ive never seen a video where a group of men stand up for a woman they dont know.
frankly I just don't believe you. I saw like 2 of these literally yesterday, one where a woman follows a livestreamer because she's being followed and the streamers essentially body block the stalker, then another where some guys yank a guy out of his truck and beat the shit out of him because he's trying to abduct a woman.
there was this famous one from a couple of years ago where a bus stops and a bunch of men get off and beat the shit out of the abuser. these are super common videos so i don't know wtf you've been doing to have not seen them
fair enough. i feel like i see these all the time and yet every day I also see fuck men they're not doing enough, like damn what am I supposed to do? call up 3 friends and patrol the neighborhood?
I think a lot of men hear "do something" and their mind immediately goes to violence. Doing "something" involves acknowledging the problem, listening to the victims, calling out other men when they say stuff, etc.... I dont think anyone expects a total stranger to be able to assess a situation on the street and be a hero. But IMO all good men need to be loud about changing the culture in society and amongst friends, especially when there's no women in the conversation.Â
Thats just my perspective though. The listening and learning is the most important.Â
Any good men already do this. Which a large number of women recognise. But there are an equally large number of women who are just unrealistic in their expectations and absolutely do label all men as bad men.
It goes both ways though. I know very very few women who havenât laughed when Iâve brought up the idea of a man being sexually assaulted, yet I know very few men who havenât been. It generally doesnât go as far as rape, but even thatâs largely around the physical power imbalance. Which likely does mean itâs easier for the man to then not live in fear, but acknowledging it is still important if the goal is actually a society with consequences rather than just consequences for some.
Sexual assaulters often assault multiple victims. It could be extremely likely that men dont known any sexual assaulters because my guess is that sexual assaulters usually have sexually assaulting friends. How many women did epstein abuse? Extrapolate that to the average abuser
Im in a niche, bro dominated hobby community called Urban Exploring. There are men who have been outed as rapists and pedohpiles and the community at large does nothing. They arent shunned, they are revered for knowing "secret" locations to photograph. One of these pedophiles just died recently and dozens of people posted sympathetic messages about him.Â
It takes an unbelievable amount of proof for most men to take dangerous men seriously. The president of the US was determined to be a rapist in a court room and is tied to the nations most notorious child trafficker. People still deny hes a predator.Â
Between 2 and 10 percent of sexual assault allegations are verifiably false. The total number of false allegations is likely higher due to how many allegations don't have enough evidence either way. No one likes the fact that a lot of victims don't get justice, but there's good reason we don't just lower standards of evidence for serious crimes like this.
Just based on what you posted alone it would make sense to believe all women until proven otherwise. 90-98% of claims are true? Sounds like not just a majority, but an overwhelming majority of women are telling the truth.Â
Why do so many limp men insist on blaming the victim?

Every woman has been sexually threatened but no men personally know any creeps.
