Do you think that when acting professionally I might not need to follow professional guidelines and rules?
Or are you stupid? I do not confuse my social life and my professional life. When I am acting within my job, I follow professional guidelines and ethics. I am bound by them.
And when I am in my social sphere, I have no obligation to continue to engage with abusive individuals.
are you doing the reporting to HR? do you think they just get some automatic alert that a misogynist is perpetuating rape culture nearby? you are aware someone has to tell them right?
Because he's an idiot who wants to do nothing but coddle his own ego? That's what I'm picking up. He asked what he could do. It was pointed out that there are things he could do, so now he's deflecting in an effort to not feel morally inferior. Very cishet-coded of him tbh. So is claiming the feminist label while simultaneously talking down to and victim-blaming a woman for having to interact with shitty men, and claiming that a man who speaks up must also be buddies with the people he sometimes has to call out.
