Spotlight On Media Outlets Truth Not So Social

The purpose of his "blog" (let's call it what it is) was never to be a popular app for folks to be part of. It's his megaphone that is reported on by newsmedia. That's how it gets its exposure. It needs no interaction.

If everyone could-would just ignore the petulant little toddler as temper tantrums are no fun without an audience.

In a post on his social media platform, Trump criticised Fox News for what he described as disproportionate coverage of Democratic candidates, particularly those he referred to as Jihadist Democrats.
"FoxNews spends more time covering the Jihadist and Democrat candidates than they do the good old fashioned Republicans," Trump said, arguing that Republicans were responsible for saving America and making the country great again.
The president also took aim at Fox News' coverage of his political rallies. Trump said the network did not give sufficient attention to what he described as his record breaking Rallies the morning after they took place.

Didn't Ukraine hit some Yandex server farms recently? Could really be a bigger part of the reason

Guess having bot farms being bombed doesn't help your platform when its being echoed by bots.

So about 40% of the users were stored in that one russian bot farm

That’s not how bots work. The internet is down in Russia. Phone farms are spread all around homes and in some cases warehouses. They’re paid for views. For example, they might get $3 for every 1000 views. In addition to the political stuff, they also use the bot identities to run scams.

Well, since now you have to pay to get dibs on his messages, you gain no market edge as a regular user. So with the usefulness of the platform gone I’m not surprised to see a drop in users.

These are rookie numbers. Let’s get him down to 1.

His supporters don't want their own space is the point. They want to go into other spaces and create conflict.
Truth Social would never appeal to most of them.

Yeah but you've got to remember it in the context of Zelensky bombing Russian data centres.

There is a significant number of people and organizations using Truth Social for documentation, analysis, and ridicule...
The numbers may be dropping closer and closer to that cohort alone...
Also, bots. So many, many bots

When the DJT stock price reflects it's true worth, then I'll believe that the red hatted cult has some semblance of intelligence.
Still wondering when America stops being shit. (As implied by their hat slogan)

Bot farm gets taken out by 🇺🇦, traffic to TS dips by over a third. Coincidence?

u/thecamino 3h ago
I’d wager a big chunk of users still on Truth Social are just there to screenshot Trump posts and repost to other platforms

One of the positives of trump being an idiot will be the collapse when his house of cards and glass collapse.
He is so over leveraged on very risky assets that if the banker ever decides to call in debt it should be a domino effect. I can't wait to pull up the popcorn bucket and watch that catastrophe.

I read "...ruins the country in his spare time" and I kinda think it's more accurate.

It's his personal echo chamber and narcissistic validation platform. When he needs a fix, he logs on.
